The crappy Samsung earbuds that come with the awesome S6 just don't cut it for me. I've owned several HTC devices past years, and always kept their earbuds when I soled them.
Just bought couple more on eBay. HTC earbuds.
But as the S6 has exceptional sound coming from the headset jack, what earbuds are the best out there? For reasonable price! Not Sure category ☺

I've always -really- liked skull candy. not that expensive, but you have to accept theyll break in 3-6 months
Sennheiser and Audio Technica make some nice ones. You get what you pay for.
There are some real good deals to be had in the china market for ear buds if you know what your looking for. Buds that cost fractions of the big names and sound just as good if not better. Have a look at this thread on Head-Fi.org
http://www.head-fi.org/t/684159/chinese-asian-brand-info-thread-headphones-iems-amps-dacs
I personally own the Havi B3 Professional 1 Version( can buy on amazon) and the Original Xiaomi Piston Earphone Updated Version Browns (these will blow your mind for $20) both are fantastic.
Monster Turbines have been great to me, excellent bass and mids and highs.
The Klpisch S4 sound fairly good for their price. They are quite easy to find for $40 -$50 on sale.

When you sign into galaxy apps
Samsung emails you a 30% coupon.
Use that on the Samsung site to buy the headphones that came with the s5 and s4
Those are actually really nice and at $20 after coupon they are a steal
Mine lasted me on average 14 months
(I've bought many for friends and family)

I always like to share what I find the best to my fellow community. I have searched for a best and inexpensive headphone set for about a week and finally came down to this one and bought it. It has the best reviews compared to any other of its fellas. I like the battery life, comfort and functionality. Amazon has it for about $45 and macmall.com also has ab se price. If u happened to be near fry's then they have in store price of $50.

I'm looking for a good pair of earbuds for around $25-30. It'd be nice if it had working controls, but im mainly looking for a pair that will stay in my ear. I really liked my iBeats and apple 5th gen earbuds. If anyone could find me an amazon or ebay link to the genuine galaxy s3 earbuds, that would be greatly appreciated too

I completely disagree with the recommendation. Unless you want the controller, you are far better off with something like Vsonic GR02 for example. It's slightly above your budget but you also get a far superior sound.

I don't know about $25-30 but a while back I purchased the Monoprice 108320 Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones and even though they don't have any controls, I believe them to be the best for under $15. The only problem is the that it's best to buy new tips and they tend to coil other than that I love and the sound quality is pretty fantastic.
These are amazing

I have Koss porta pro headphones that I bought on eBay years ago probably were closer to $50 but the ksc75 is cheaper and almost the same. For out and about when I don't want to wear ugly looking headphones I have some vmoda in ear I got on eBay a couple years ago for somewhere between $30 and $50 I think. They aren't too bad and they hold up well.

i got it from here because they only sell 100 % original to good prices
ah pay with paypal so you safe twice
I guess you're a child or young teenager since you bought the "Youth" model. Those probably wouldn't be the best option for the majority of XDA users, though.
In my opinion, the best Xiaomi earbuds are these http://m.gearbest.com/earphones/pp_169225.html, though I definitely would NOT buy from that site...
I bought a pair of the piston 3 lately, really good stuff for only $17. Bought 3 more for my coworkers and an extra pair as backup. Got them from geekbuying, and it shipped to me in NYC in a week.

I use the piston II inner ear phones. Awesome for the ridiculous price and a darn site better than the Seinheisers AND BOSE I have.
For headphones I use Sony MBT 10DBR
i have the piston 3 after a month the head jack comes off although everything still works fine but it looks ugly now. i would not buy them again even though they sounded great. i have the piston 2 it lasted over 6 months.
I've just pulled the trigger on a new V30+ (at a great price) but it doesn't come with a set of the B&O headphones (go figure). I'd like to get a set of matching B&O's to take advantage of the DAC.
https://bit.ly/2JOXrMW
My question is whether anyone has a spare set of these B&O headphones that they'd be willing to sell? Thx.

In the U.S. the V30+ came with "LG" quad headphones, not the B&O branded headphones.

Yep, totally. I need some new in-ears anyway so I just fancied having the whole complete original set. I've heard they're quite good....annoying they don't come with them. They do come as standard so I'm assuming they're taking them out before shipping.
Request still stands though, happy to pay a fair price for an unused set of them.
They're not taking them out. Until a couple of weeks ago, Eglobal was selling the Hong Kong version, it included the B&O earphones.
The versions Eglobal is selling right now are indian variants of the H930DS, those just don't include the earphones for India market (check your software version, it should be Vxxx-IND-xx).
But hey, you get VoLTE out of the box! HK versions don't have that.
$20 and they're yours. I've worn them for about ten minutes btw.
I have a new set in the box. Let me know if you are still interested.
Thanks.
Esteban
My 16y old daughter took my brand new B&O to make a call and munched the wire while talking and now it's broken...
I compared these headphones to other models from different manufacturers.
They play on the V plan. They are good for OEM, but compared to other headphones they are rather weak.
I think that you can buy much better headphones for 25-30 USD.
For example, RHA MA390.

Right. In North America LG doesn't have the rights to B&O distribution.
I feel the B&O headphones are super weak (do not trigger high impedance mode) and very flat sounding. Anyone else experience this problem? I will gladly sell my gently used B&O's. Also have one brand new in box. Worst sounding earbuds ever.
The included B&O earbuds don't even come close to any of the retail B&O earbuds.. The only thing B&O to them is their name.. For the rest they can at best be considered as cheap OEM freebees. Don't waste your money on them. Instead get yourself Etymotic ER4 XRs. They do way more justice to the internal quad-dac....
(Or alternatively get a good pair of wireless cans such as the B&W PX or Sony WH-1000xm2)

Get BeoPlay H3 in ear wired. I own them for nearly 2 years and they're gorgeous, hit the floor many time and still working fine, wire condition is perfect. These added to LG V30 are rather low class earphones and I'm quite surprised that they're branded by B&O, it only works against them. If earphone cost 25$ you can be sure that it has nothing to do with real Bang and Olufsen sound quality.
I tragically lost mine...
Anyone have theirs and willing to sell them at a decent price? I miss them daily.

The ones in the box are not so good too, the thing that they are $100 value was a rude overrate. Even when they first came with the S8 they could have a price point between $40 and $60, now there are about 80 MILLION around the world that's why they cost nothing - and nobody paid for them.
I suggest you as better value earphones the OneMore triple driver

For included headphones, they're surprisingly good I'd say, the pairs I've used from my S9, S9+ and Note 9 have all been good, certainly better than any other included headphones I've received. I wouldn't pay $100 for them for sure but if you're paying $7.50 from an Amazon seller, you're guaranteed a **** pair.

I understood your point, and you would be generally correct but I explained you why they are so cheap. They're not ripoff, they're original OEM with warranty included. I also underestimated the number of headphones around the globe, maybe it's more than 120 millions combining s8/s8+ s9/s9+ s10/s10+ Note 8 Note 9 sales.

I understand it's not very clear but those aren't sold by Samsung, they're sold by "Accessories r us".
Just look at the reviews "Buyer beware: Knockoff "OEM Stereo headphones", "This is fake.", "Not good quality or sound quality". I think you get the point.

I'm talking about ones that came free if you pre-ordered the phone, not anything that came in the box. They're BT, over the ear, AKG headphones that compete with Bose in noise cancelation.
I hate mine personally. They only fit in my ears if I wear them upside down (wire over ear) and the right ear has lost sound twice, will be on my third pair now. Only thing I can say is that Samsung UK support has been good, since they have replaced them twice now for free.

Totally different thing though - I'm looking for the over-the-ear cans. Not buds.
I've purchased a lot of earbuds over the years. You can get some very good sounding buds for $50-100, but beyond that the return on investment diminishes a lot. I have found Klipsch and Bose to be fairly good. I'm on my third set of SoundSports in five years; daily wear; hours per day; can't beat them for the price. Used to be $100; now $50.
The AKGs these Samsungs come with are comparable to many other $15 buds. Not that great. I tried mine for a minute and found them to be garbage.

I still think people are misunderstanding. I'm not talking about the buds. I'm talking about the over the ear cans that came if you pre-ordered the phone. They sell for about $180 on Amazon and were $300 when released. They're very, very nice.
