Looking for help for sensors on a110 Italian version

Hi everybody. I'm following your threads since two months, and today i'm been registered here!
If my posts are full of grammar error, it's because i'm an italian student and my english is not perfect! But i can understand you without any problems.
Okay so i need your help, for a problem that is really jerky. Here in italy we have a company called Brondi, that distributes the micromax canvas a110 with the name Brondi Gladiator. I've written it in italian, but you can see specs and fotos.
Ok and so, a month ago, i was looking for a custom rom jelly bean, for this terminal. And after a lot of googling i saw that it real name is "Micromax a110". PERFECT. I've downloaded JellyDREAM v1 with s3 touchwiz and that is wonderfull! But there is a jerky problem. The Gladiator has the CM36283 Proximity and Light Sensor: 0,13 mA by Capella, and the original micromax a110 has CM3607, and this is the reason why on my phone with this custom rom and many others too, the light and proximity sensor are not working!
I tried a lot of guides about broken sensors and never did something. Im not an expert in android but i know something. And now with this problems i'm asking you for help! UP! Maybe a kernel problem? if i have the stock ICS boot.img with the kernel, and i flash it on the jelly bean, maybe that the sensors goes to work again? and if i flash the stock kernel, does the framerate go back to 30fps? It's very lagghy. With the jelly bean custom rom the fps are 60. Please help

Hello,
First, flash stock jellybean. Not a custom rom. The official jellybean rom of micromax a110. Try if the sensors work, if they work, you are done. If they do not work then go back to the stock rom of brondi gladiator. then apply 60 fps patch in the android development section. That will let you keep 60 fps.

Thanks for the answer! The stock ROM is ICS. I tried Yesterday with the stock Micromax a110 jelly bean and the sensors are not working. When i open Android system info on the not working sensors ROM, in the sections Sensors, i see CM3607 proximity, and on the working stock rom, is CM36283 proximity and light sensor. I'm not an android expert, is there a way to install a driver like linux? $ modprobe -i modulename? Or simply change kernel or copy files to let the sensors work? I've tried this wvw.androidgadgematic.com/2012/08/how-to-fix-accelerometer-compass-revert.html but nothing.

MORE: the modules are .ko files. How can i make a module for thoose sensors?
I wuold like to compile my own kernel modules but micromax doesn't release kernel sources!
Please help me this is driving me crazy!

You can try wiki slim kernel sources which Is same as Micromax a110

The light sensor dont work on our Micromax a110 too. So I cant help you there.
Is your proximity sensor not working or is it slow? I mean it take a lot of time to display the screen after a call?
I suggest you try the Jellybean 4.2 roms we have. Tell if they work. Download this and flash and tell me if it works: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532627

[Q] How to install CM 9/10 on micromax A100

Hey friends,
I am a new bee in android stuff... and i want to change the UI of my old micromax A100.. I came across various articles about custom ROM's and rooting devices..but as not much custom ROM's are available for this device (mmx A100) (pardon if there are and i was not able to find) i thought CM9/10 themes would be a good option... tries everything on how to nstall cm9/10 but to no avail, so i thought asking front up to all you experts here would be helpful...
Just want to know how to install cm9/10 on micromax A100 i already have seen rooting process on the forum

You shud not flash a custom ROM of any device to any device. FIRST search IF CM ROM for mmx a100 is available or search this forum for if anyone has created a custom ROM for your device and only then flash it. Flashing any rom will definately hardbrick ur device and make it completely useless.

Yes I have seen, there are cm9/10 themes for mmx a100 on forum and also from COBALT developers.
Just a quick tutorial for how to install cm9/10 would be a great Help.

If it is just Themes then u should be able to download it and apply using the default launcher(forgot the option) or if you are using Go Launcher, Apex, Nova launcher etc then you must go to their themes option and your CM9/10 themes will be listed there. Just select it. First check what kind of launcher the theme is for. The steps for applying them must also be given where they are given.

You are right but have already have seen all these launchers and they do support cm9/10 themes but the issue is the phone should be rooted and cm9/10 should be already installed on the phone...n you r correct as I was not taking bout installing any new rom but just installing new themes ofcm9/10 as I really likedthem over normal themes...but again I need to root my phone and then install cm9/10...and then ony can I install these themes....so if my basic question can be answered, would br helpful....how to install cm9/10 on mmx A100

Waiting for 4.2.X roms fix

and we tell you that we are waiting for cam fix for all mmx a110 devices and clones also
android 4.2.X is here now but we can't benefit with this major problem of cam
then, devs, please have a look for us, and waste some of your time to fix this bug for mmx users ( and clones phone,like mine)
i'm not a dev,that means i don't know how to modify kernel or other things
i simply know how to download rom and flesh it, that's all

Sorry buddy, it cannot be installed in your phone if installed, will result in no booting or misbehaving of your phone. A9 and Intex Aqua Wonder are the same phones with different names whereas Aqua Flash is a different phone. However, this ROM can be ported to your phone if it is a dual core phone :laugh:

salam brother i liked your work and like your word tough even more lol brother try yo-nip iced 4.2 rom its awesome rom only minor issue Bluetooth don't work properly but rest is very fast and very customized and customizable rom you should try this if you are a really android lover like me i am using same phone A9 and karbon A1+ duple 3 more mtk devices for experimenting stuff so try this link http://myphoneph.com/roms/yonip-iced-h2o-roms-for-a888/ and if you mange to fix bluetooth will be great coz i have tried sub kuch lekin Bluetooth nai chali anyways let see what you can do

Thanks for your comments brother. This problem has already been solved by the french androiders. However, other problems like auto-focus during video capture as well as freezing problem still persist. Please, check out these two links from Frandroid.com...

In my opinion JB 4.1.1 and JB 4.1.2 are best for our phones. Check them out too....

i have tried those methods and tried those roms but this rom which i am using now is better and faster and most important battery friendly and dont have problem of auto focus or freezing its way too smooth i am telling this because i have tried almost all the roms available for our phones almost all of them including from inpak web but finaly i stick to this 4.2.2 rom its flexible try yourself if you want,, anyways thanks for your kind help i will keep googling it maybe one day i will find a solution like we will find a good politician in pk lol thanks again bro but really i liked your rom its good make some more and try to port 4.4 from nexus i have seen a device from my friend its super fast and cool rom and amazingly hardware specs are not better then our phone so it means this rom will be more enjoyable on A9

Ok. I will give it a try and see what it can deliver. 4.4 cannot be ported to A9 because the source code of these chipsets is unknown and has not been shared by the MTK manufacturers. Only quadcore and octacore of MTK can be used for 4.4. Without source code, the drivers for its hardware cannot be programmed.

but i think mtk have released its hardware source codes i have seen someone mentioned on a forum that we can get these codes from git-hub i have,nt tried it actually....anyways lets keep in-touch maybe we can come across on something take care brother

salam brother can you tell me how you are porting roms?i mean which tools you are using coz i have mtk porting tools (but dont work properly)trying cygwin and xda kitchen but option are very limited so i just need to know how you are doing it?are you doing it on windows or Ubuntu?

MTK has released the source codes of Quadcore and Octacore only, No Dualcore at all.
I use the porting tricks available on xda and other forums. I also have cygwin and kitchen but I could not port any ROM with these. Copy and Paste procedure is enough good if you have got the right base and port. However, for advance porting like playing with kernel and framework files, one needs development skills of linux and android which I don't possess.

Because Thunderzap v2 is jb 4.1.x kernel not 4.2.x kernel that why camera not working and apps not installing.Install xtreme rejoice 4.2.x you problem will be solve.

Dear Frnd kindly don't misguide......
I am using this rom from past 2 month.. not even a single bug I found working perfect only thing is not working is OTG....
install rom with proper procedure steps and use suitable kernel like xtream rejoice it will work perfect.
you can even install or update nova launcher
and by the way our devie is micromax a110 so it have some hardware limitations like ram and processor with does not support lollipop version.... we need to understand that also... so give it another try and let me know if any help need from my side al da best....
