[ROM][LeWa v5] JB 4.1.2 - Miscellaneous Android Development

Hello to all users of QMobile Noir A9!
I have successfully ported LeWa V5 (JB 4.1.2) for my QMobile Noir A9 which is a rebranded version of Wiko peax Cink, Fly IQ443 trend MyPhone A888 Duos and Intex Aqua Wonder.
Yes, it is awesome and yummier as a LeWa ROM should be. Behold the beauty of the ROM in the screenshots ... :fingers-crossed:
Pros:
1. Integrated dialer, contacts and messaging
2. Beautiful interface with many themes for icons, fonts and lockscreen
3. Butter smooth touch experience
4. Elegant Clock and weather widget
5. Customizable notification bar and quick settings panel
6. Night mode in three colors of your choice
7. Smart Power +
8. Eye-catchy window for multitasking and killing background applications
9. Built in security center and data monitor
Cons:
1. Less free RAM because many embedded applications running in the background. They can be frozen with a good battery and RAM manager app though.

Sorry buddy, it cannot be installed in your phone if installed, will result in no booting or misbehaving of your phone. A9 and Intex Aqua Wonder are the same phones with different names whereas Aqua Flash is a different phone. However, this ROM can be ported to your phone if it is a dual core phone

Thanks for your comments brother. This problem has already been solved by the french androiders. However, other problems like auto-focus during video capture as well as freezing problem still persist. Please, check out these two links from Frandroid.com...

In my opinion JB 4.1.1 and JB 4.1.2 are best for our phones. Check them out too....

salam bro.
i have tried those methods and tried those roms but this rom which i am using now is better and faster and most important battery friendly and dont have problem of auto focus or freezing its way too smooth i am telling this because i have tried almost all the roms available for our phones almost all of them including from inpak web but finaly i stick to this 4.2.2 rom its flexible try yourself if you want,, anyways thanks for your kind help i will keep googling it maybe one day i will find a solution like we will find a good politician in pk lol thanks again bro but really i liked your rom its good make some more and try to port 4.4 from nexus i have seen a device from my friend its super fast and cool rom and amazingly hardware specs are not better then our phone so it means this rom will be more enjoyable on A9

Ok. I will give it a try and see what it can deliver. 4.4 cannot be ported to A9 because the source code of these chipsets is unknown and has not been shared by the MTK manufacturers. Only quadcore and octacore of MTK can be used for 4.4. Without source code, the drivers for its hardware cannot be programmed.

salam brother can you tell me how you are porting roms?i mean which tools you are using coz i have mtk porting tools (but dont work properly)trying cygwin and xda kitchen but option are very limited so i just need to know how you are doing it?are you doing it on windows or Ubuntu?

MTK has released the source codes of Quadcore and Octacore only, No Dualcore at all.
I use the porting tricks available on xda and other forums. I also have cygwin and kitchen but I could not port any ROM with these. Copy and Paste procedure is enough good if you have got the right base and port. However, for advance porting like playing with kernel and framework files, one needs development skills of linux and android which I don't possess.

bluetooth working now managed

Can it possible ?
and Benefits?
mmx a110 has just the minimum system requirements to run the ubuntu os..when ported, it may not run seamlessly..and then again i doubt if cyanogenmod will port their cm10/10.1 to mmx a110 since it is dual sim and mediatek..any of us who are interested in porting it should definitely keep trying :good: :good:

I think you can do it coz now you have Official Kernel source & soon JB will be release for your device as well. If you want to know How to, then I can direct you to right path.(In our community, Lots of Devs are interested to make you understand the CM10 Device tree) .

Availability of kernel source is not soulely enough for any source built ROM
There is a need to embed device driver instructions, algorithm to communicate with mediatek kernel inside CM10 in order to work with this chipset along with lots of other intermediate tasks which is a way long process.
So don't start dreaming for Ubuntu Touch so early
The best thing to do is:
I am Not using MMX Canvas 2 but i love MMX products.I currently have a HTC Explorer.
It was with GB but one dev started with cm7 but had probs with cam (which couldn't be fixed even now)
After that we build cm9 with time it was pretty stable (we used many parts from Desire C)
and now we have CM10 AND CM10.1-STABLE,Buttery smooth:victory:
i mean it has a 600mhz snapdragon A5 cpu.It had many closed source prob but we searched and found many solutions.
I said this cause canvas has a very capable hardware. So you have to try hard on CM10 or cm9
Try to make it stable, ask other dev with experience with mediatek cpus.
Making an advanced kernal like 3.4~^ will help a lot in cm development especially jellybean.
You guys should ask MMX and Mediatek for more support as only with people like u they get more popularity.:silly:

A110 is Dual Sim and CM does not support Dual Sim! Although I tried building CM10 for A110! Not possible! To Port Ubuntu you need to have a totally stable CM10/10.1! Which is not possible with Dual Sim Phones!

you cannot get cyanogenmod running on your particular device at this time. a cyanogenmod based on this chipset is in work, but is barely working yet. (just SystemUI starts, everything will FC).
ouch.. . that doesn't sound good.. anyway, can u give me links to the cyanogenmod development of this chipset? please

They are gonna need it as without the full and proper kernel source code for each and every device that runs that chip it will never work completely. This is the reason CM doesnt support cheap knock offs.

I had CM10 on my Jiayu G3 with the 6577. I'm sure it could be done someday. It actually ran quite smoothly. It just had a few bugs with some apps and had a battery drain but was otherwise rock solid.
think its possible for this chipset (MT6575) coz i found some posts proving that they have sucesfully ported CM7 and i actually tried to port using thier ROM with no luck at all. why my system apps starting with "BR" like BRMms.apk?

dg500

Are there any roms for doogee dg500
lewa rom exists
http://yadi.sk/d/ZoXAc3HMHLM3o
its ok rom or fake ?
What do you mean "fake rom"?
I have not received device yet, so I can not test, but reported as good.
The ROM is OK. I am quite satisfied by it. I could say I am more satisfied by it then the rest of the existing ROMs. Found just one thing I don't like, but probably it is happening just to my phone. I have asked in the Russian forums about that. And it is that in the Mobileuncle I can not enter the CSD Information menu. It is gray/unavailable. So I can not send AT commands to the phone. That it is. All the rest is better than the rest of the ROMs.
Yes i own this phone also tried the only rom for this phone thats Lewa Os 5 (that some russians ported)
And its working very well buti think the battery its draining faster than the stock rom. Other than that the best rom i have seen imo better than miui.
I'm thinking to port some roms for it from this roms (micromax-a116) that have almost the same specs. Is it worth it

Hint: use chrome and translate page
Installation instruction:
Wipe data/factory reset/wipe system/data/cache
Flash Zip from SD card location
Reboot
Use CWM recovery
Edit: tried LEWAOS5-
Works perfectly- However, my friend deleted super camera and there for after dirty flashing same rom again, i found cannot switch between 2G and 3G.. so...
Flashed XPERIA Z2- (my recommendation)
Works Amazing- This is the best rom i have come across. Has in built dolby digital technology. Fast- GPS/2G/3G/Dual sim- Everything works so amazing i thought the rom was made for Doogee DG500!!! + stamina mode etc etc.

This is not my work and i take no credit for it. Just helping a friend who is fedup of current interface. if you download, try to thank the developer for the hard work he has done for the device.

Samsung Official Wins

Really after 1 year of flashing more than 30 Custom ROM On my i9505 ,some based on the Stock and some based on the pure AOSP, I got nothing
All custom roms is just a vain and wasting of time
All the Custom ROMs have a bugs , problems , etc....
some make the device very hot , some make the battery fast drain , some make the device unstable , etc...
but with the Official rom , no problems , it's completed with no bugs , even with rooting
alot of devs make a roms whatever the rome base , but all with bugs , and when we ask the rom developer about the rom makes the battery drain faster he says : it will be fixed in the next rom update , and some says use UPSM to make the battery not drain fast , but why?
why I put my self in that situations as long as SAM maked everything be very good with it's Official ROM !!!!
really all the customs is very bad , and may the customs makes me able to use the other features like which in the S5 or Note 3 , but as I said all with bugs
I like the S5 Camera features and I tried it on mt i9505 but with bugs , where is eraser mod ? etc... the original S4 Camera app always can do the missions with perfect performance !!!
now I am on the official NE5 and received about 4 updates which made the device act as pro , so no need of anything else
and anyway S4 will not be something else whatever the features gained from the custom roms , S4 Camera will not be as 16 MP if I flash the phonex or imperium , S4 will not be as 3GB of RAM if I flash the rom with Note3 features
the conclusion : S4 will be S4 forever , the only way to make S4's Camera be like S5's Camera (I mean the app) is SAM Update with all the S5 Camera features and nothing else , and I think a lot of the pro devs after a years of developing some roms for i9505 is now using the official rom on their own devices because they sure that it's the right thing
thank you and again ****ck the Custom roms
I egree with OmarManLover after 2 years of flashing i am back on stock rom
Omg you're both so very wrong!
After my first year being rooted I went back to stock, lasted just under a day. Custom ROMs really do offer so much more and I for one appreciate all the hard work and hours the devs put in and will always continue to use custom ROMs.
I'd have to agree with UniqueFreak though, Custom ROMs make in to a completely different beast
Custom ROMs aren't for everyone. You have to have some patience to get it set up perfectly for your needs and taste, as well as be smart enough to learn how to take full advantage of all the additional features/tweakables.
I'm using stock google play edition ROM. I tried the latest stock samsung when I upgraded boot loader, modem etc.
It was laggy, UI feels like it's from 1998. Camera is great but gallery is really slow. I hate that you can't slide between tabs. Just feels cheap. Window animations and ui sounds are not my cup of tea.
GPE is optimized and has all the proper drivers so it runs smooth as silk. camera/audio quality is great. Only thing I miss from Samsung is the brightness slider in notifications.

The only additional features touch wiz has are gimmicky stuff. Aosp has the ability to add just about any useful feature your brain can think up through root apps or closed modules.
First , thank you all for your participation with my thread
I know that the Official stock rom miss some good features like the tools which works with an custom kernel like GoggyMax ,Talexop , etc ... which means that I cane control the CPU voltage , clocking , etc...
but may be I was wrong , really I miss a lot of things with the official rom like UPSM , download booster , Air Walkup , etc.... and may the rooted stock rom is not enough , I tried rooted i9505 with stock official with wanam xposed , complete action+ , Greenfly , etc .. but did not get the extreme performance like the imperium , phonex , etc...
and I was unfair when I said **** the custom roms because their is hard workers behind that custom roms working night and day and I now apologize to all of them , now I get back my word and whatever the official rom is stable or not , the devs is stronger than Sam and always beats the sam head
thanks for all the devs for giving us the new features from an devices which stronger than us , you are the MEN forever
thank you
Just came to the i9505 after more than two years on the i9300.
On the i9300 there was no denying it : nothing beats a clean optimized stock rom.
But here on the i9505, there is this marvel that is GPE. It's like the best of both worlds : AOSP performance with Samsung official stability and support. Actually GPE should be considered stock.
I agree with you about trying to turn GS4 into GS5, then Note3, then Note4 etc... But it's just a matter of what you expect from your phone : some people see it as a really fun tech accessory that they want to tweak and try all sort of gimmicks on, some other people see their phone as a reliable tool and need stability above all.
Pointless debating it. Custom vs Official is a purely personal choice. Each ROM has something to offer make your own choice and be happy with it. The most important thing is that we have a choice. Thank you Developers
I use the stock rom because i like the things easy with zero job out of the box, but sometimes i test some customs and are too good, i can use any as daily driver, sometimes i can see bugs or details i dont like but i think this is personal opinion and too much roms are work in progress what can you spect for nightlies or betas? A final result? Bah...
Thanks for all cookers too make awesome roms and kernels, without you i cant enjoy my old terminals, without you i cant extract the best juice from my devices.
Horrible thread, how can you feel as dev if you do all these work for free and read that things... Beh...

I tried stock touchwiz, tw-based rom, gpe, and cm. Ended up using cm11 for a good few mths now, and never looked elsewhere.
I like gpe too but cm11 has added much more features now, plus I can dirty flash updates. No need for backing up every time. Makes my snapdragon 600 cpu worthwhile.

What are you even doing here on XDA? Clearly it is not for you. You are just one of those new generation members that think this is some sort of servicedesk.
I don't know if you noticed but its XDA DEVELOPERS. That means developing. Developing means bugs. What did you expect? That if you use a ported S5 camera app that everything works? Because if you think that then you are just dumb.
There are so many custom roms. Some are almost bug free, some are experimental, some are heavily themed. The more modding the more bugs there will be. That you can't find a good stable rom says more about yourself then about the roms here. I am using stable customs roms with no bugs that I noticed.
So yes you should stay on the official roms and away from custom roms.

I am a total newbie when it comes to Android ROMs and stuff.I am using an iPhone 3GS as my daily driver. My previous S Duos was very slow in stock ROM,I recently installed the Galaxy S5 Experience ROM on my S Duos and I was amazed by how smooth it was.It looked very good, ran smooth with very minor/No Bugs.Sadly,I think development has stopped on there (Please correct me if I am wrong). The thing is,I love the Xperia's Awesome UI from Sony. With very intelligent Devs here,I think it's possible for making a Xperia Z5 Lollipop-Like ROM on our S Duos. You know,Totally different from TouchWiz with almost everything resembling the glorious Sony
I humbly request someone to make this one. Thanks a lot

Is it easy to make a ROM and a Kernel ? I have ZERO Coding knowledge,But I have a copy of Linux and Ubuntu in my PC.I am looking forward to make a 1.4/1.5 Ghz CPU + 350/372 Mhz GPU.It would be smooth on the Xperia UI.The Kernel,I probably think it might fry the phone I am willing to learn and do this.

Hard Bricked means the phone is basically dead.Like a dead organism,Not possible to bring it back to life.
