Can I Update Android With OTG?

I own the HTC One M8, but I can't receive updates on air nor update my phone through the RUU software because my software version is apparently outdated. However, I found an RUU suitable for my phone which requires an SD card. I don't have one atm, but do I have an OTG cable and a pendrive, y'all think that's gonna work?

LG v10 system problem

I have bought the v10 2days ago and it was on android 5.1 lolipop and it was working very good till i updated the system to ofw marshmilo 6.0 the device started getting errors like LG vpn has stopped.and the menu of finger print scanner is not opening any more it shows unfortunately process ha stoppe"com.android.setting.".and i noticed that it doesn't allow me to uninstall apps. bte i did a hard reset but it didn't help. does anyone can help please? the device is un rotted btw

You can flash the latest kdz via LG UP available in other thread. Hopefully it will solve the problem.

Like what the other guy said, try flashing new kdz. And if that works, let us know please

Exactly the same problem with my phone. Installed h90021w_00_0921 via LGUP, and now can't downgrade

Thats exact problem am goin through

count me in, thats exactly what happened to me
i also tried the REFURBISH option via LGUP with no luck can't downgrade,
tried flashing the rooted h900 TOT it fails stating this is a downgrade and its not possible :'(

It seems that one of the users (another threath LG H900 5.1 > 6.0 problem) is right and I upload software h900 6.0 via KDZ via TOT even via octopus and nothing, even the same error is possible that the main card is not h900 but another variant?, He says he solved the problem by loading vs900 software because the main card was not h900 but refurbished vs900.
I opened the phone and I was right, now i am going to load the correct software and tell you.

Once you confirm the model of your phone and I find myself developing a tutorial to load the kdz but only if the version is equal to or higher than the one they currently have downgrading kills LG phones with antirollback

Help please - OTG not working

Hi all,
i have GR5 2017 aka honor 6x with b160 update. previously it had b150 and i received b160 update few weeks back. today i tried to connect an pen drive but nothing happened, not even a notification. thing is this is the first time i used this function in this phone. didn't tried this when it had b150. so, is this problem came with b160? can it be solved or should i wait for future update? & yes, i tested otg cable & it works fine with my other phone.
Someone can help me please ???

After B160 update, i always wanted to do a factory reset. i done it today morning & guess what, now otg working without any problem.

Wrong Firmware installation

i had the ANA-LGRP4 11.0.0.194 c432 EU version installed, unknowlingly changed my google password and had to downgrade, on doing so i installed 11.0.0.177(C432E5R6P4). i dont know what the issue is,now i cant neither go forward back to newer version or go down,my USB doesnt detect laptop. tried USB debugging,HDB etc. doesnt even detect USB device directly on the fone.
guys,could you please help me with finding a solution?i want ot downgrade and reinstall GMS. i had no issues installing GMs before.

Try update again to 11.0.0.194 by OTA while mobile is charging. Then downgrade again using EloyGomez TV method if transfer data works

I can't connect to pc after downgrading

i installed gms with downgrade from emui 11 to emui 10.1 and then i cant connect to pc and the now usb is not working tried debugging usb still no luck
any solution?

Update back to emui11 after you install GMS and conection will be fine. Use search function, because this problem is not new.

Hello.
I`ve got an question.
For some Days ago i make an Downgrade from the 196 Firmware an my P40 Pro.
The strange on the Downgrade is, that i hadn´t lost of the USB connection.
But imake the downgrade from the 11.0.0.196 to the 10.1.0.176.
This was the official procedure on the HiSuite untill the 11.0.0.176 firmware.
The Downgrade to the 121 Firmware i makes obove the Dload variant without lost the USB connection.

I have the same issue "usb is not working" I upgrade back to Emui 11 but still the USB isnt working - can you guide me how to solve it please?
UPDATE: It asked me to install another update - this solved the issue
