[Q] Battery indicator for connected Bluetooth device? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I need some help here. Recently, I've got myself a Creative Soundblaster Roar 2, and when I connect it to my friend's Ipod, it shows the battery status on the ipod. Same happens when I connect it with a LG G3. But when I connect it to my S6, there is no such feature. Do I have to enable it in the settings? Or is it just a feature only available on IOS and LG?
The speaker does come with a battery indicator, but its pretty vague. 3 lights only, and it indicates Full battery, 75% and low battery only. It'll be great to know the exact amount.

I've never seen anything do that on Android (my experience is Samsung and HTC), so it might be specific to those devices or companies.

[Q] Is there an app??

Is there an app to show the battery level of connected Bluetooth devices? I have an LG Phoenix running KitKat, an HTC myTouch 4G Slide running KitKat, and a pair of Bluedio headphones.
Because I am too lazy to SIM unlock my myTouch I decided to download an app called Tablet Talk and that uses Bluetooth. While relatively efficient, sometimes the LG turns on in my pocket and does random things that waste the battery. I would like an app that could possibly display the battery level of connected devices and warn when there is a low battery because it's annoying to be in the middle of a call and have my phone die. I don't touch the LG that much (it basically acts as a "server" for the HTC, sending texts, calls, and Internet through Bluetooth) and I just want to know the battery level of my headphones because while coming with 57mm gold-neodymium drivers, those drivers tend to use up just a little too much juice, especially when I have DSP manager running (lots of bass requires more power). I was thinking about buying one of those battery backups that you take with you but I don't want to have to carry *another* device. I have 3 batteries for my HTC (feel free to ask) and I recently repaired my LG because it wasn't charging, however that required hot-gluing the battery to the phone (I dropped it too much).
Also, is there a substitute for Tablet Talk? it keeps giving me a "license error" and I contacted the dev a couple of weeks ago several times and I've received nothing. I paid for the app and every time it misbehaves I have to clear the data, while not that irritating it gets tiresome to have to do it every day.
And another app I was wondering about is, since the myTouch has two microphones, I was curious to see if there was an active noise cancelling app besides NoiseOut.

Note 5 vs Apple 6 plus s

So I've been an avid Android user since it's birth, I've NEVER owned an apple products and up until recently, I've NEVER even considered it but the 6plus caught my eye.. I know that neither eco system is perfect but I'm so tired of some of the issues I'm having with my Samsung device that have continued from s3 to s4 to note 3 and now my Note 4... I can't understand why the same problems persist???? And rooting the phone is just not something I want to do + a jailbroken iPhone also opens up the device to better performance...
(a) Frequently when I take a picture and try and view the picture immediately afterwards, the phone experiences lagging and force closing
(b) when I receive a message or notification of ANY kind while listening to media, my volume is decreased and the only solution is to text myself and the new notification increases my media volume again
(c) the brightness sometimes turns itself down due to overheating
(d) WiFi issues!! Losing connection and reconnecting FREQUENTLY!!
(e) this phone was supposed to be compatible with my pioneer head unit using mirrorlink, purchased the latest head unit EXACTLY for that purpose as pioneer assured me that it was what I needed for mirror link to work. Well it didn't and researched the hell out of it (no solution)
(f) GPS sucks balls, constantly getting confused on my location, at 1st it was strictly a problem in downtown Chicago but now it happens in the suburbs too.. I could be sitting still and the phone suddenly tells me to turn left and then it corrects itself and then again turn left and it will continue to switch back N forth until I start moving again...
Now I've had all but one of these issues on EVERY Samsung device I've owned, each time hoping that their latest and greatest devices will have resolved these issues but to no avail!!!
So I'm thinking of actually making a switch to Apple and keeping an Android tablet along side it for my Android fix... I have a couple friends who've always switched back N forth between the 2, so I know Apple is a fantastic device that doesn't typically suffer from existing problems with complete deniability.. The customer service is absolutely stellar but I also know that's it's a limited device... No more unlimited skip Pandora, no more torrenting straight to my device, no more custom launchers ect ect ect....
Anyways just want some input... By the way I'm NOT a dev or a computer wiz BUT I'm a geek and electronics and gadgets are my passion, I do custom car stereo installation, I build pc's, I repair pc's for friends frequently and overall I'm very capable... Trust me NON of my problems have a real solution... Also my wife too owns a Note 4 and same crap happens with her phone

Smart watches (Moto 360, LG Samsung)

Anyone here rocking a smart device? What are the pros and cons? How are the battery life using it with the gs6? Does having Bluetooth on all the time affect it a lot?
My thoughts in general are if you're going to buy a fit bit, might as well dish out more for 100x the functionality. I also really like changing the watch face to fit my changing preferences.
Thoughts?

I have a Pebble Steel and didn't notice any extra battery drain on s6.
I have an S6 with Moto 360 (1st Gen)
If I leave the watch paired overnight (8hrs), I notice no difference in standby time (I usually lose 3-4% overnight with just the phone on).
I decided on the watch instead of a fit bit because of the notifications, they are great and because of them I barely check my phone anymore (resulting in a much longer phone battery life). Being able to do quick replies from the watch (via voice) is amazing as well.
Depending on your priority, I think the fit bit is more accurate for steps and activity tracking.
Personally I enjoy having all the features. I use a watch face that gives me time, weather, date and steps all at a glance... can't beat that!
I have a Huawei Watch and I don't notice any reduction in battery. I haven't done any tests so take this as anecdotal evidence, but I do feel I might have an increase in battery life because I don't have to look at my phone all the time and I tend to let notifications pile up on my watch before I get to them. Without the watch, I would attend to any notification I got on my phone.
Not sure if anyone still reads this thread, but any who...
I had the Gear S2 when it first came out, wasn't too thrilled with it. Because even though the design was beautiful and the spinning bezel was a great feature, it lacked support because it doesn't run on android wear. Also 2 months of heavy use (I only took it off to charge it) the strap broke and Samsung would not cover it. Thankfully Amazon allowed me to return it ( at 75% of the cost or something like that). Side note, even though it uses wireless charging, it did not charge using the OEM Samsung wireless charger meant for phones.
After that, I purchased a used Sony Smartwatch 3 from Swappa. I love it, the design is very minimal battery is about a day and half, display is good, uses android wear, and fits to exactly what I needed (water-resistant, mic, uses micro USB charger, Android Wear). And it was WAY CHEAPER than the Samsung watch!
I use my S6 with a LG G Watch R. To save power I turn off wifi and bluetooth on the phone and use the watch with wifi. My work and home have strong wifi networks, so this system works for me. When the phone's wifi and bluetooth are turned off, the communication between the devices is one way. Notifications are sent to the watch, but the watch can't communicate back to the phone (e.g., "OK Google" won't work).

S8+ (SM-G955U1) Few different questions.

I thought about posting this on the newbie post but since there is more than one question, and some of this isn't really for newbies I thought i'd just make a new thread.
So i've had this phone for a few years now. I'm on Consumer Cellular with a TMobile sim card and it's been working fairly good lately. I am wondering if anyone has had the "automatic disabling 'caller id and spam protection' on reboot" bug fixed by the latest security update for the phone for them? As for me it still does it, so curious to know if it was fixed yet for anyone in the US.
Also lately I have been starting to think about possibly replacing the battery on the phone, I haven't noticed a significant power capacity decrease on the phone yet but since I'm a bit paranoid and never seem to let my phone get to less than 50% before charging it I'm sure if I had a power graph of when I first got the phone vs now it would probably show some kind of capacity loss. I know there are a few good places that can sell you a battery and a toolkit along with a new waterproofing seal and have a step by step video of how to do it and since I do have some electrical troubleshooting background I figure it won't be too difficult. But today I saw some guy inside the back of a galaxy s8 and he was using metal tweezers in there and all my old electronics training was just screaming "NOOOOO" LOL so I'm wondering what anyone who knows more about current electronics with this phone; their opinion of doing this is? Bear in mind he also still had the battery inserted in the phone. LOL.
Also I have a question about the specifications of fast charging vs slow charging are for this phone? I can't seem to find any consistent information about what this phones software considers fast vs slow charging as far as available power, and I've noticed I never seem to see the fast charging notification when I have it hooked up to a USB 3.0 port on my computer; and depending on how you interpret the information I've been able to find about what the available power is for a USB 3.0 port, depending on the item connected to it, it could be anywhere from 300 to 900mA available apparently from what I'm seeing but I may be misinterpreting the information I am seeing. Right now the only judge I have other than seeing the "Fast Charging" indicator is I have Ampere and it says that while hooked up to my USB 3.0 port and with most apps off as in not showing in recent apps in that form of standby mode, I am seeing it at anywhere from 330 to 380mA when I activate the screen until it recalculates and goes back down to about 330mA. Also I do know my MB has at least USB 3.1 firstgen from the MB specs. I'm not sure if it's drivers that limit it above that or if it's the actual chipset itself.
Thanks for any info about these questions.
