I bought my Honor 6 plus in China and set it in English. But some apps (Stock Browser, Huawei apps) still in Chinese, and also some features (Magazine unlock, the country name displayed in dialer).
Anyone can send me the english stock apk?
About the features, is there a way to change this, WITHOUT root or a custom rom?

Have you tried downloading the stock rom for L04 and extracting it, using 7zip and tutorials like this?

I'm new here, looks like a great place. I'm not a programer but a techy. I need a little advice. I hope you dont mind helping.
I bought a phone in China that I need to convert to an english version but I'm very confused as to exactly how to do this (steps) and which files are best to use.
I think the phone is the same as a Milestone 2, it is model ME722 which has chinese OS 2.6.0.me722.chinaretail.en.cn / android version 2.2.2 / kernel version 2.6.32.9-g2bc8abf.
I work in china and US but cant read chinese. Right now I use a chinese SD card when in China and a US SD card when in US. After looking around I see some people have used a UK rom file but I have no idea of the steps or if this is the best file to use to do this. Will this convert the OS to english with updated english apps pre installed? What is the model number of the UK phone and might a manual be available some place for it that is in english.
This is my first droid and it apears that unless I use Motoblur I dont have some functions like email and ability to search and download apps. I would prfer to not have Motoblur and want just a open access phone. I would like to have Google play apps such as translat, that would be helpful.
Any help that you can give would be very apreceated.

Thanks for ur great work. This ia the first rom from ru comes with traditional chinese. I will test more on GPS, hope it can work normally!

I want to change the ROM, I would prefer one similar to the AOSP, with removed Chinese characters, and German or English language.
So far the foxtrot ROM seems to be the best one. But I have a few questions to the whole procedure.
Which languages are supported?
Is it possible to remove the Russian letters?
I am still confused about the different versions (world and asian). I have done point 2 and 3 successfully according to this this manual. Can I now directly flash the foxtrot ROM?
I am not sure if I understood the flashing manual of the foxtrot ROM correctly. The translation of Google is very bad. Can someone give me a explanation? I understood following steps: flashtool of ROM "P770_ROW_110_130122" --> flash TWR recovery --> and then add this to files P770_Foxtrot_010.Yandex P770_Foxtrot_010.Google --- is this more or less correct?

Use flashtool to put the recovery file first, and put the ROM(P770_Foxtrot_010.Yandex P770_Foxtrot_010.Google are the same file from two locations) to flash, don't forget to wipe system and data before you flash the ROM.
Just flashed this rom but i am having problems with google play services.. Seems like it cant connect. However google play store works just fine.. Does anyone know a solution for this issue?

I don't know why, but stock internet browser doesn't work on my MT7-TL10 with kangvip B357. I installed the ROM and after one day I installed UI patch. I had the same problem when I used Kangvip 2A, but disapeared when I used 3A and it is back with the newest version. Anyone knows where the problem is?
Please, do not tell me something like "use Chrome instead of stock browser". I use the Chrome .. but I found out that the phone needs stock browser sometimes. For example when I click to Google play redirection link in Chrome..

its because there is a serious delay with CN ROM while using WhatsApp, facebook , Gmail etc.
Eventhough release all the permission to run in the background, the problem still exist.

Hello, I had the same problem and even if you have the apk file you cannot install it. What you gonna do is Flash the MIUI ROM to get it back. If you want the apk on a custom ROM I can't help.
