After I updated my phone (lg g2 T-Mobile) I can't connect with android file transfer app on my Mac and the lg software option is missing. Can someone help with this.

I have recently bought an lg optimus 3d (P920) as my third android phone and as usual i'm wanting to root this device.
I've been told to use superoneclick as the easiest method of root for this phone (but im open to other ideas) and so i have downloaded superoneclick 1.9.5 short fuse.
I've enabled usb debugging and allowed installation of non market apps etc. but when i connect my optimus to my computer nothing seems to show on superoneclick and superoneclick does not even recognise that i have a device connected.
This is strange because my optimus has no problems with connection to my computer othewise (as in connecting to my computer and transferring files).
Im using Windows 7 and just a standard lg optimus 3d. If anyone could identify my problem and find a solution that would be a great help thanks!!
Try the latest superoneclick version 2.3.3 :

As a tip for LG users, make sure you select “Use alternate ADB Parser” under the advanced tab.

Look in your settings, scroll down to about phone then scroll to the bottom where it says software version. which version is it?
I know this is obvious but have you got adb on your pc as its needed? Without it you can't root.

This will definitely seem like a repeat thread but as far as I can tell this specific issue has not been solved.
I have a rooted lg p999 so g2x or optimus 2x using clockworkmod.
I am trying to use USB tethering to use my phone internet connection on my computer (my computer does not have a wireless card).
If I am correct from what I have read I first download and install the lg united usb drivers package.......DONE
Next I plug in my phone via USB to my computer and some things should pop up and install.....SEMI DONE
One device LGE Android Phone does not install any drivers because it says it cannot find them.
To solve this I have tried downloading the tether inf file but that does not work as a driver for this device. (possibly i cannot find the correct inf file online?)
Next to solve this i tried manually installing remote ndis drivers from a list of network adapter drivers as mentioned here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1120552
but when I get to network adapters nothing is found.
For the record in device manager LGE Android Phone shows up with the ! under other devices and only the onboard network card shows up under network adapters.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
What ROM and kernel do you have?

If you are running an ICS based rom, the upgrade to ICS broke USB tethering. if not then we will need more info.
Hello, I have a LG Optimus 7, I want to set you up applications manually, but not install steps to achieve.
I tried to get the Windows Phone SDK but is very large and my connection is slow, can share me the software that are needed?
Many custom roms for LG L9 p760 do not have wifi tethering working. It apparently activates but then I'm unable to navigate from the PC.
Do you know of settings to fix that? Any configuration file or patch?
Hi
I have backups of my G4 and G5 created using LG Bridge.
It seems almost impossible to recover the information from these files if you no longer have a LG phone.
Does anyone know if its possible to run an emulator of the LG G5 so that the PC and see it as "a connected phone"?
That way the LG Bridge will allow you to run a restore and i can then copy the images and videos off.
(LG bridge is the only software that can read the lbf files but will only restore to an LG mobile phone)
Thanks
