Sensor transmission from one phone to another possible? - General Questions and Answers

Can i get the sensor data from one phone connected to my main phone??
And can it be accessible in ide or game engine??
I do not want sensor data from my main phone but rather the data from the other phone connected to it via Bluetooth/Wifi.
Can this also be true from fitness band?
I.E gain acceas to fitness band's sensor data to develop a app/game?

I think its possible because I have connected Arduino with Android phone via Bluetooth and send the sensor information to arduino which I could save to my PC. SO I think connecting via bluetooth you can send the sensor data but you need to find out some app regarding that.

[Q] MotoActv - how to transfer Pedometer data to Phone via bluetooth

In order to download my data from my Smartwatch to the Phone, I need to get on the wireless to upload data from Watch to Cloud and then from Cloud to Phone. Since my phone is already connected to my phone via bluetooth, can I just transfer the data that way?
I am also open to write my own app, but I can't find any APIs that can help me with that.

Data from Bluetooth to automatically go to micro USB tx/rx...?

Not sure how to best ask/explain this but here it goes...
Let say there is an android app that uses some hardware through the phones micro usb port. Hardware only sends data to the phone TX, and the phone receives it and the app interprets it.
I was wondering than would it be possible to take that same hardware, connect it to a simple cheap bluetooth transmitter and just receive the same information via bluetooth?
Would the app still receive this data? Or would the app have to be redesigned to listed for it on bluetooth and not micro usb? Or would this just happen automatically?

External compass & gyroscope

I have in my car a Abdroid 6.0 Device which don't have any sensors for its relative Position. But especially a magnetic compass would be great for navigation. Does someone know an extrnal device that i can connect via usb, and acts like an internal sensor so that any app cann acess the data?

3 years later the devices don't have such sensors, I have 2 WITMITION external units with plentry of sensors but I don't know how to make Android know that there are sensors connected ! and Use it of course as native sensors for all apps !

Is it possible to install NFC to non-NFC smartphones?

I found it very usefull on my old phone (galaxy s9). My current smartphone is Samsung Galaxy A10s which is the low end smartphone and ofcourse no nfc on my current phone. Is it possible to install like an NFC tools or something? (Does that tools actually exist?)
NFC is a radio technology that generates its data stream via a magnetic field. Knowing this you easily can see that a device not having related hardware implemented never will be NFC capable.

Oneplus One cannot connect to CHARGIE battery charge controller

I've been keeping my battery alive by using Battery Pro app but you have to monitor it 24/7. So I bought a couple of CHARGIE devices - a hardware controller that goes between the cord and charge block to turns charging on and off via an app.
My phone connected to the device only once during many tests. I've been trying various settings and suggestions by the company. They insist it will work with Android v6 so maybe the phone is the problem. Device requires bluetooth "ble" so I turned on full location options (GPS, Wi-fi, bluetooth, cellular networks). I turned on setting to display all ble devices - shows a printer from a neighbour's house but not a Chargie 2 feet away! Ideas or information welcome...
Bluetooth is required for basic communication with the Chargie device, but if your particular phone's Bluetooth doesn't work, you can use another phone to configure Hardware Limiter and use it on the 1st phone without the app. Location Access is unfortunately required by Android's device scan library. Chargie doesn't use it (no purpose). iOS doesn't request that, for example.
If that particular Chargie doesn't work at all, on any phone, please contact [email protected] and it will be replaced for free.
Thank you so much for the info. The Chargies work (I have 3), just not reliably or quickly. I can plug in my phone right beside the Chargie and the app says it isn't in "range". Or it continually says the BLUE Chargie isn't in range even when plugged into the RED one! I had all radios including GPS on during the testing but GPS isn't needed. Still not sure how Airplane mode with Bluetooth turned on affects it. BTW my Oneplus One has Bluetooth 4.0.
Getting the phone connected takes so long, it's hardly worth the time to figure out the "hardware limiter" option with a Windows laptop. Not much documentation on it. I certainly don't want to leave my phone beside the device while charging. I was getting some answers via email until I asked how to return the devices. I may have to just accept that the device works 'sometimes'.
