[Completed] Problems rooting new EE Harrier Mini - XDA Assist

I have just bought the new EE Harrier Mini and cant seem to find a rooting method that works with it. This device was only released a month ago so I wasn't expecting to find a lot of info. From what I have found, the device is made for EE by BenQ , another brand that I couldn't find much rooting info for. I ran CPU-Z and it lists the following details about the device:
Model Harrier Mini from EE
Manufacturer Qisda
Android Version 5.0.2
Board msm8916_64
Bootloader GT47B1A_V01.012.02.G_02
Build ID LRX22G release-keys
API Level 21
Kernel Arch aarch64
Kernel Version 3.10.49-perf (57427)
Cores 4
Architecture 4x ARM Cortex-A53
Revision r0p0
If anyone could point me in the right direction to root this device it would be greatly aprreciated.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I can't find anything specific about your device. The best I can off is this, http://www.xda-developers.com/root/

[Completed] [SOLVED] [Q] How to root samsung galaxy S5 Model:SM -G900 (k3gduosctc)

I really need help.Few days ago I traveled china and bought galaxy S5.
Now, I want to root the device but In my device the model is only :SM -G900. nothing is written after G900. for that i cant find the version from internet for rooting the device. At last i installed an apps name CPU-Z. In here the model number is showing SM -G900 (k3gduosctc).
But still i can't find the right version to root the device.
plz help me....
You'd need to look at the Sticker behind the battery for determination of the correct Device Model Number. Sometimes the information you see in Settings > About is not accurate. The apps you'd use may get mislaid.
Having said that Since you bought in China, it is likely to either SM-G900I (for Asia Market) or SM-G900K/L/S (Korea Market). My Money would be on SM-G900I. Given that the device is so new, we do not have sub forum for this specific variant yet. But depending on which carrier you are using or planning to use, here are the links to Relevant forums. Sprint Galaxy S5, Verizon Galaxy S5, T-Mobile Galaxy S5, AT&T Galaxy S5
To your question on Root, here's a nice thread for Sprint S5. It gives you a general Idea. But understandably the specifics would depends on your Model.
You may also use Android Hardware Info app or any other Device info apps that look at the hardware to determine Model Number.

Just in addition what Perseus71 already wrote:
Chainfire has already created CF-AutoRoot for various S5 variants.
This is IMO the easiest way to root your device. I have done this with my SM-G900F too.
But first do what Perseus71 has suggested ... you should be sure what exact model of the S5 you have.

I can't find this SM-G900(k3gduosctc) model any where...

Hi nissan0808,
I am sorry to inform you that the "UNIVERSAL5410" is commonly used on fake Galaxy devices ( Mostly S4 ). You can make sure by entering your IMEI here: IMEI Analysis. Check under the IMEI Validity Assessment.
Find it by dailing *#06#
This doesn't necessarily mean that you can't root the device, you can try the following tool:

[Completed] Sm g730a help please

I am extremely new to this. I have a Samsung Galaxy S III Mini SM G730A on At&T. I need to unlock it so that I can use a different carriers sim card in it. I have searched and searched this site for answers and I guess I just dont understand. Is rooting the same as unlocking? Also I read somewhere that if the phone was running Android 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 I could unlock by dialing a few numbers in my phone. Unfortunately, my version is running Android 4.2.2. Is there any way to take it back to 4.1.1 or 4.1.2?
I have read the rules and I sorry if these questions have already been answered, but I could not find them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sierra
Oh this is what it says in about device:
Model Number: SAMSUNG-SM-G730A
Android version 4.2.2
Baseband version G730AUCUAMH4
Kernel version 3.4.0-1299773

Rooting and Unlocking are two different things. Rooting allows you to remove System apps that you can not remove otherwise. It allows you to install other firmwares on your phone. It will not allow you to use other carrier's sim card. You will need to look for older firmware for your phone in order to do so. This thread will help you once you have that firmware. you can pose the question about the firmware in the forum I linked above.

[Q] Can someone help me root this lyf brand phone(rebranded zte)?

Few days ago, i bought a new phone from a relatively new company called lyf in India. They source their phones from zte, so either zte manufactures them, or rebrand the existing model for lyf. The phone does have some GUI elements of cyanogenmod to it(photos attached), since i don't think ZTE has mostly stock UI which this phone has . I tried rooting the home through apps but since the kernel is relatively new, apps couldn't find a venerability. Could someone help me with rooting this phone?
Specs:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 410
1 gb RAM
16gb internal
Link to the phone : https://www.mylyf.com/wind-1[/URL]
+1 for root request
Have you tried the XDA standard rooting method? (Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry)
Try it with the latest version and let us know.
I think this might help

The PC also not recognizing this phone. I have installed all drivers for this device but still no way.
