Hi everyone,
I'm currently porting miui v6 to jiayu g4 (mtk6589) and the rom seems to work quite well, only 2 isues, camera and sound...
Camera: not working at all, when accessing a message pops up "can't connect to camera"
sound: when headsets are plugged there's sound through the headset but also alarm and notification etc through speakers, when headsets are not plugged, there's no sound at al out of the speaker
I also have the same issues when porting cyanogenmod 11.
I'm porting from the jiayu g3 (same soc and resolution etc)
Could someone pleas help me?

sory for the late response. I dropped this thread because I dropped my phone and it's ruined, so i'm not working on the rom anymore..
Lucky for everyone who still has jiayu g4 and want miui, I already finished the ROM and was in testing stage

I have the same issue with my camera.. I have succcesfully ported MIUI V6 for my Wiko Ridge Fab 4G Aka QMobile Z8 Plus.. Can you please help me to fix the camera issue please?

after flashing miui v6, flash the cam-fix from the link below. If it works, you can provide the fix with your rom (but do give me some credits for helping to find a fix ).

did you check if there wasn't any other camera app installed after flashing the fix? the new camera app should be the working one I think, well at least that's what I think I remember.
If the fix didn't do anything at all, did you try using google's camera from the play store?

Hey, is notification bug fixed in this CM7.1 fixed? We tried everything... It didn't work in CM7 (5.10.2011) and we tried modifying build.prop. When you finish more important features, could you focus on this bug? Thank you for your efford. Congratulations for your work

Is there any way to get samsung keyboard working on CM7 ? I tried by replacing LatinITE.apk or something by it, did not work.
PS: I already searched and found nothing, asked in Q & A thread no one answered...

hi fnds i've flashed too many roms out of few worked well. finally i flashed cruzermod rom which is a great rom in all aspects. but after four days of flashing it i got bluetooth problem first for two days & then i got rear camera problem, all this problems happened 15 days before. from then i tried a lot of methods, flashed old successful roms, even stock rom, original updated version to jellybean but none give my camera & bluetooth back.
in bluetooth it is pairing but unable to send & receive files
in camera front is working but not rear(back) camera which is main camera.
so pls help me

problem is probably kernel...
revert to stock rom with stock kernel should solve it.
see in this forum whre to find stock kernel+rom

hi Bro I've searched and downloaded stock rom for five times but while extracting the rar file first it is opening and again inside of it another rar file is there to open, that one is not extracting. the same thing happened for all the five downloads from different sites. that is the problem. if u know any working stock rom link pls forward the link to me. or tell me where can I find it. thank you very. thanks a lift for ur reply.

hi bro I've tried it but no use for my camera. remaining all are OK even my BT working now finely. d only problem is my rear camera not working and showing unable to connect to camera in some 3rd party camera apps and camera not installed in some ROMs cameras.
even in stock ROMs camera not working. give me d exact stock that came with MMX a110 then I will try that. or send me a ROM link which may give my camera back.
so pls help me.

So here is 4.4.2 rom
First and most important thing is that if you dont know what you are doing then please dont flash this rom. I will not be responsible for any phone bricks or blasts silly:

Friends someone plz tell me how to install this rom on coolpad .m having problem getting usb drivers plz also link driver for this fone . A simple step by step method would be easy to understand. M doing this first time on this fone . I had cynogenmode the sony fone once before.

The only thing is not working is the FM radio, I reboot the phone it workeds but got bugged it means the radio can be heared in speakers and in headphones at the same time.
Other issue is with link2sd, it takes too long when you enter to storage info. And a strange overheathig started from no were, beside that everything is fine.
i cant mout usb is it again for me only
until now the rom is 5 stars

hahaha i m trying all bugs i dont knơw evẻything is working fine for me i have tried that missing app bug after moving to sd card....i have tried otg...i mean everything is working...i have tested this ( as u know) alot buy i will take a look at it again now i tried my best to makw this rom more stable

and in cm...by default no mount option available in storage for usb in some builds but you can download stick mount app from playstore and it is working

Bro i m having no problem regard your issue...how can i fix it...
hahaha you can remove that keyboard and its not an indian keyborad i use it as it has many got skins and take less resources

I have same problem. if remove and remount sd card the apps will now show again as installed.
Its the only issue so Far.
I believe the problem when we boot the phone is that all initializes before searching apps in Sd card. Maybe some tuning on kernel settings help delaying boot until search sd card??

the best oreo custom rom so far ... camera is basic but still is working , all working , smooth , fast , no lag or FC , installed magisk -running well as well google play
I think to stick with it but anyway somebody could show me a way to have big photos dialer (I hate those little photos dialling ) ?

How its battery backup compared to aex ROM...

Actually this rom is not much customize and has been built close to stock rom on google pixel whereas AOSP has many customizations. Hope we will get this feature in upcoming builds.

Its average like other Oreo Roms
its showing error 7 while flashing even though i have already installed latest version of twrp (3.2.1-0)

It should not happen, try reflashing the twrp and then flash the rom
The camera app often error.

Charging % mismatch unfortunately sometime
If possible add another camera with manual focus and beauty mode
Music player not pre install,also app like noozoxide pro not working.maybe due to compatibility with Oreo.
Other than this,just one word a pixel in my hand

I can't understand plz help me.

flash 19s firmware
anyone facing google maps issue? google maps is able to detect mine location but when I start navigation, routes doesn't move along with mine movement.

Bro which ROM are you using, please be specific. Are you facing this issue in all the ROMs.

yes dear, I am facing the same issue on all oreo roms on XDA. In Nougat rom it was working fine.

In fact it works on this ROM well. Only in this ROM. Clean flashing will do d trick. I use navigation everyday to work.
