Hi everybody! Recently I have built Slim LP for this device and wanted to share it with you. I created this thread in general forum because creating devdb projects form is broken, and I don't know how long it will being fixed.
What is not working:
audio- and videorecording
Unfortunately, one of the fixes for audio from CM12.1 branch doesn't work some reason, probably it means, that some apps like camu also won't work.

Sorry for the late response... what do you mean??? slim is one of my favorites. when i test a rom I keep it for a couple of days so if audio is not working thats a problem for me, video recording is not.

Seems that it's known issue. I forgot to mention, that only these gapps packages(found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-mini/orig-development/rom-slimlp-t3108784) works with slim. I haven't tested it though, so if anybody would like to test it, please report whether it's working.

Yes, you should just flash it as usual.
If you are on stock GB, you need to upgrade to stock JB first, other than that, the procedure is normal.
Btw, first load could take a while (maybe even one hour), so dont panic and think you are in a boot loop when it takes forever to load.

Hey, is notification bug fixed in this CM7.1 fixed? We tried everything... It didn't work in CM7 (5.10.2011) and we tried modifying build.prop. When you finish more important features, could you focus on this bug? Thank you for your efford. Congratulations for your work

Is there any way to get samsung keyboard working on CM7 ? I tried by replacing LatinITE.apk or something by it, did not work.
PS: I already searched and found nothing, asked in Q & A thread no one answered...

I just start to compile a CM10 rom for my own use from the source and I wish to share with you guys.
So far so good, seems everything is working fine.
Instructions..
You probably know.. but just in case..
1. Boot to recovery (MANDATORY A TOUCH RECOVERY - I strongly recommend the RaymanFX's recovery (plenty of useful features): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1855686) (Thanks to RaymanFX)
2. Darkside super wipe - Thanks to him!
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Flash the rom
5. Reboot
6. Flash the GAPPS - http://goo.im/devs/Formula84/gapps-jb-20121012-4.1.2-JZO54K (Thanks to Formula84)
7. Reboot and have fun
Attention:
1. Do not install any kind of cpu manager, for now, like setCPU. Keep for now the stock frequencies. It can cause SODs and RRs.
2. When using Titanium Backup do not proceed restoration of data. It can be corrupted or even incompatible in some point to new releases. It can cause FCs.
Attention about to post a bug:
1. Before to post a bug, PLEASE, try to reproduce it at least twice.
2. Make sure that is not related to a bad and dirty flash, you can try to wipe cache and dalvik.
3. Be polite, after all, we are doing this for fun and for the pleasure of share, with no benefits at all.
4. You can contribute here with some debug methodology lol

I'm using this version here. No problems to report on RaymanFX's Cyanogen 10 ROM. Formula84 always seems to have the latest GAPPS. I've used his previous two versions without issues.

For now is pretty much the same thing, except by the way how each compiler gonna proceed in each compilation, I mean using different versions of JDK or tool chains..
I will be adding some cherries and my own stuffs pretty soon

Keeps Rebooting To Recovery
Flashed 4.1.2 with no errors. Everytime I reboot it goes to recovery. The only way I can get into the TF is a cold restart. Any suggestions?

The problem now with TF101 is to get a stable JB ROM, we have some nice nightly stuff like TeamEOS, JellyBro and RaymanFX CM10, but they're not really daily drivers, we need something like Megatron CM9, stable hi performance and battery saving ROM. And of course, kernel devs are so reaaly needed, since gevor hillness there's lot of ROMs out there but nohi powred kernels.
You said the magic word: cherries! If your way is to make a stable and smooth daily driver ROM count me in.
I have an idea to share/request: the CM10 wifi system is somewhat using an "old" scheme, maybe that could be tuned to "new"scheme, to work with Guevor CM10 kernel for instance.
Hope you continue this work, tf101 needs skilled devs.

Google Now will not work (It's still JB on P500... don't expect miracles). I'm using the Slim Gapps addon and everything works from there.

Check out the Google Code Page. Basically the same bugs you would expect in a JB rom on P500...

Downloading and testing...
- A biiiiiig camera bug (color banding)
- OI file manager forces close
- Sometimes after unlocking screen is devided in 2 similar parts(fixed after locking and unlocking again)
Indeed there is color banding on camera preview but it is not present in the photos.
OI File Manager works on my end...
normal camera has bugs and video recording doesn't work but iirc that's a cm10 bug, panorama and normal camera works fine using camera ICS+
the keyboard is a little laggy, other than that I haven't find any other bug, oi file manager works fine here, also, the brightness slide on status bar works fine here.

Couple bugs right off the bat.
1. After flashing and booting the rom, CPU Sleeper has stopped working. Cannot open CPU Sleeper either.
2. After flashing the gapps in OP, I get a bunch of "Blahblah has stopped working". Workaround was flashing a different gapps.
Also, What's this Seeder app?
I'll let you know if I find anything else.
I know that you have provided Gapps separately, but does this ROM already contain them? Why is it 314MB? Usually, ROMs range from 100MB to 200MB at most.

Flash the rom without gapps. Sorry about that. The seeder app helps prevent lag. Give it a try.

Same problem as Gummy in taking screenshot. Maybe you can ask altered how to fix it.
Overall, pretty good but almost similar to Gummy although it feels like this one is faster and more responsive.

Me and my team work hard to make sure these roms can be daily drivers. Ive been running this rom all day and love it. Many suprises ahead if everything goes right.

Yep because the patch of ril doesn't work, so if any dev want to help, i can continue the dev and also guys maybe i will build roms just for i9105P so if anyone are interesting to build for non P just contact me to pass device tree.

I am building the 5.0.2 if camera not working probably i will rebuild with cm12 frameworks which the patches are worked without problem and once camera worked i will upload and build one for i9105 see you

Well, i try many times to merge cm12 patches to omnirom, the important patches like frameworks/av/base/native which contain fix for camera and other features but without result, omni framework's based on pure aosp so i can't merge cm12 patches because frameworks are not compatible if frameworks/base code's patch are not match with source i can't do anymore, anyway I will release SlimLP for our phone in this days, i was planning to do that last week but i have issue with my machine.
P.S. : i do a "half" port of Ubuntu Touch by getting shell access to the device, taking blank screenshots and also internal sdcard has been recognized without problem, the only issue to fix is broadcom gpu to boot up as well, if any dev are interesting we can port utouch

Not yet, i am trying to mount partition data that allow ubuntu to boot, i think the port it's done but data and display permission should be fixed
I almost finish to compile SlimLP if everything OK i will upload quickly

forget slim, still buggy for s2 plus, it's work perfect on p3113 :/
