Hi,
I attempted to load a custom ROM on a Samsung Galaxy S 5 G900P. I can get to download mode and recovery mode. I loaded a new ROM through the recovery mode but when I boot it gets to the Samsung Galaxy S 5 screen and stays there.
I have downloaded the stock firmware to try and flash back to stock but when I try to flash the stock firmware through ODIN, the flash Fails.
Any guidance to try?

Hi, thank you for using xDA Assist. Make sure you're using the same version of the firmware your device was on. Also use the USB ports in the back of the PC and try different usb cables. I recently installed a custom recovery CWM using odin.
Some days later my phone is refusing to but normally and instead is booting only in recovery mode.
I am trying to use odin again and put CWMR again but despite having the proper drivers, ODIN is not recognising the device.
What can I do, experts please help!

I bricked my phone when installing custom Rom. after installing the CM mod, I tried to install the TWRP recovery, it asked to reboot phone but after it shut down it haven't ever turned on again. Now I cant enter recovery mod since the factory recovery is missing and the new one didn't install completely. when I do a normal boot my phone automatically tries to enter the recovery mode, but then shows "could not do a normal boot; odin mode..........udc start. and is stuck on "downloading....do not turn off target..." any help?

hi so my samsung galaxy s4 GTi9505 internatinal version got hard bricked will the jig usb force it into download mode and from there i open odin then flash the officail rom

A jig is used to boot into download mode but flashing a stock firmware with a .pit file will re-partition and return your device to stock.

hello everyone! I tried to root my note 4 (sm-n910c) 5.1.1 lollipop using this trick http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/root-note-4-sm-n910c-t2977948 but after press start in odin a "recovery is not a seandroid" appears which is different pop up from the video and after that my phone keeps rebooting again and again in boot loop.
after that I head over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/development/note-4-910c-kernel-talexop-5-1-1-t3192767. I tried to flash twrp using odin but it didn't work. I mean after flashing my mobile reboots again and again just the same problem. I pulled out the battery and tried to access twrp recovery to flash a custom kernel. but I cant. I cant access twrp. its just bringing me to download mode.
I am wondering if I flash a custom kernel using odin will it work? but those kernels from the link above are all in .zip and not in .tar. so not able to flash using odin.
please help me! I've been searching the whole day just to fix my phone but still got nothing.

I rooted my Samsung Galaxy grand neo plus using odin and kingroot software succesfully. I wanted to install the twrp custom recovery to flash some custom roms. However after flashing it a number of times through odin, i wasnt able to access the recovery mody(vol up +home+lock keys). When I tried to install it through the rashify(or something similar) app, the screen got stuck at the Samsung logo. I am unable to enter the recovery mode or get into the normal phone features. Only download mode is accessible. I think my phone is soft-bricked. Please help me out!!
