Hello guys.
Just got this phone on the contract upgrade and have decided the battery life is no where near as long as what i need, so going to buy a BB insted.
just wondering how much i could get for this?
Wil come rooted.

If you've had it less than 7 or 14 days (network dependant) they might let you send it back, then you can upgrade to your fruity phone!

A Blackberry? bit of a girly phone that. You can get spare batteries for the LG on eBay, 2 batteries and a stand alone charger costs about £8 then you can always have a spare in your pocket/handbag ;-)

There is a 3500mA battery, but it will make the device much thicker.

The Galaxy S2 has amazing battery now I can easily get 2 days from the one I picked up recently, where as I could barely get any more than 13 hours from the O3D.

Yes, but SG2 is not 3D, so can'really compare them, no?!?

You can compare as the battery life is terrible on the Optimus 3D even if you don't use any of the 3D features of the phone.

It's ugly but you can buy a 3500mah extended battery for the O3D. I just ordered one for $9.99 on ebay with cover and free shipping.

actually... you can't really compare because Optimus 3D is still 2.2 and SG2 is 2.3
and... Super AMOLED+ vs LCD
If SG2 doesn't have much more battery life then something is wrong

[Q] Nexus 5 now or wait?

I want to know if I should buy the current Nexus 5 or if I should wait for a new Nexus phone with perhaps a 64-bit processor.
As of now I have a HTC One X that has some major issues with the battery or something related to power consumption when using the camera, so I really want another phone.
But should I hold on to my One X a little longer and buy the new Nexus phone that might or might not come out, or should I just buy the current Nexus 5 right away?

Why do you think we have the answer?

I'm in exactly the same position, my hox gets about 60 minutes screen on time, even with a new battery.
It may be over 3 months until the next Nexus mobile. Could you put up with your One X for that long? You wont be disappointed with the N5, it is still a major upgrade from the hox.

I have just ordered my second nexus 5 32gb Bright red (Someone stole my First) BUY IT ! This phone is amazing, one of the best I have bought in my life. If the nexus 6 comes out in november I would probably keep my N5 , but if the N6 is a major upgrade I will sell my n5 with the box, accessorie etc. for like 300-350$ So the N6 will cost me around 125-150$ if google keep the nexus series low-prices.
At the end it is a good purchase in all point !

Would you still buy the OPO today?

My Nexus 5 is getting worse and worse by the day when it comes to battery life. I have replaced the battery and factory reset but still am struggling. Plus, I'm not overly impressed with the HTC One M9 at this point, but I realize it's not on final software yet either. The Asus Zenfone 2 is also appealing, but who knows when/if it will be released in the US.
So, if you were to buy a phone today, would you still consider the OnePlus One? I know the next variant is expected in the upcoming months but curious what you think. I like the price point, especially for the 64gb of memory, but it looks like camera quality is still hit and miss.
I appreciate your thoughts!
Update: bought one on Swappa and should be getting it on 3/20.

Hmm Nexus5 to OnePlusOne maybe last year, but this year when OnePlus Two is near i wouldn't buy OnePlusOne, but if you totally need it buy it. It is smooth and looks so awesome.

I'd still buy it in a heartbeat.

Just got mine today, loving it. I'd get a one plus two if it was exactly the same as the one in every way, ie 5.5" 1080p (dont need higher), 64gb of storage, great battery life and cheap. Rumours all point to none of this, along with the 810 being a hot chip. Even the M9 is a hot running device.

Yes. Got mine few days ago. So far, it's great. Now I have both Nexus 5 32gb and OnePlus One 64gb. It's so great in such a small price tag that you won't regret even if the Two comes in few months.
So if u consider to buy a phone today, definitely go for OnePlus 1.

No, I wouldn't. The missing feature of mhl makes it almost completely useless with my app radio which I used heavily with HTC one m7.

Lol I got mine 2 days ago. And I must say, pros>cons on this phone. I absolutely love it. I don't care about the customer service and that it doesn't work as quick as people would like them to work. For the price of this phone and the specs, you have no right to complain about anything tbh?

I bought one , Broke it . . Tried the OPPO FIND 7.. broke and returned that.. now i just got another ONEPLUS . Love the easy customization and the ONEPLUS ROM Scene is busy..

He had everything you have in Nexus 5 and so MUCH more, plus with this price tag it's a no brainer.

Just bought one a few days ago, coming from a fairly beaten up Galaxy S3 (no screen cracks, just dinged around the edges and crashes a random app once every other week or so) one big reason I switched is that even the new batteries I bought don't seem to last long.
I got the tempered glass screen protector with it and I love that, never going back to plastic.
I was worried if it would seem too big in my pocket - I would say, the S3 is a little more comfortable to have in pocket, but the OPO is OK. I basically wear jeans every day and they're not too tight, otherwise, it could be a problem.
It feels like a good solid quality device and I'm glad it doesn't get hot running Clash of Clans the way my S3 does.

The ghost touches on this thing are driving me crazy, it's going back up on Swappa.

I wouldn't buy a phone with Snapdragon 810 so I'm not looking forward to any of the flagship (and killer) this year.

New phone

So I recently decided to buy a new phone cause my nexus 5 is getting a bit sluggish and its screen is cracked. I was going to buy the 5x but then I realised it cost 480€ in Europe. Which is a bit too much. So I'm looking for a about 400€ phone which is not ugly , is quick and can be rooted stock Android is preferred. So basically a nexus phone but not a nexus phone. Thanks sorry for my bad english

nexus 6 is a nice phone, and you could likely get it cheap on swappa because its last years model.
i have a 6 and 6p, and other than the obvious spec increase of the 6p, i like the 6 better.

But what about the one plus two? I checked it out yesterday and It has nearly stock android. Good specs and it looks ok. 4 gb version is only 400 euros

Love my 6P, has anyone found a battery case?

Hi Everyone,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I switched over from a Note 4 a few months ago to my 6p and am loving the phone and it's 128 gb storage.
The battery life is amazing but I am able to kill the battery with unusually heavy usage by 3 or 4 pm a few days a week. Others I work with have iPhone with battery cases so their phones last.
I have been unable to find a battery case for the 6p as exists for iPhone and the nexus 6.
Carrying an external battery pack and wire is not always an option- have forgotten it more than a few times.
Is anyone else here wishing they had a battery case for their nexus 6p as much as I am?
I see myself having this phone for a few years and would love to double it's battery life.

No battery cases as of yet. With the Nexus 6p probably approaching its end of life soon i doubt there will ever be one.

I think he means since the new nexus is always released around sept/oct so this one will be old by then. But for sure it will last a few years given that all nexus devices are given updates from google.

I was hoping someone would make one and emailed a few vendors, one named ZeroLemon wrote back and said they expect to have a battery case available for sale at the beginning of next month. I Hope it's the case as the half life of a Nexus 6P is much longer than phones that don't get updates..

Exactly. The new nexus will be released soon meaning this one won't be sold anymore. And since the Nexus has a lot smaller following than say the iPhone or galaxy it's both with it to accy manufacturers to make accy after the fact.
But yes software wise we have awhile

I'm on the lookout for the battery case too. ZeroLemon is about our only hope.
