I have an Asus TF300T with Cyanogenmod 12.1 installed but yesterday I realised that my tablet isn't rooted (it was in the past).
Can you tell me how to root it? Do I have to come back to jelly bean?
Thanks.

what are the rom for tf300tg?? we are the ones with jelly beans?
no jelly bean rom works for the 3G version.
What you can do WITHOUT using 3G is to my guessing all of the ROMs.
With 3G you/we have to stay on stock until JB is released and Devs can adapt the kernel...
If you want to use TF300T ROMs on the TF300TG make sure you don't use TWRP for TF300TG as you will get an error indicating you want to install a ROM fot the TF300T on the TF300TG so mismatch...
Hi,
I have a WIFI Xoom with the latest 4.1.2 update. Unfortunately I am not rooted and it seems that it is not possible to flash a working CWM or to root on 4.1.2
Is there anyway to go back to an earlier android version so that I can then root?
Thanks for any help.
I'm rooted 4.1.2 ?

I got the Xoom after it had the official 4.1.2 update so there is no way to load CWM on it, or at least none of the methods here work.
Hello! I got my TF700T today and I'v installed coustom recovery (twrp), coustom rom (cm 10.1) and it's rooted. I want to overclock it to 1.8ghz or higher if possible because I felt the the tablet was abit slow a lagging from time to time, even with jelly bean 4.1.1 and 4.2.1.... Stock and coustom rom
Will this work on the cm 10.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1950039 ?

I am new to all of this. I have a nexus 5 running KitKat. I also have an Acer a510 and was wondering if there is any way to get KitKat on my tablet? I am currently on jelly bean 4.1.2. That was the last ota update I received. Any possibilities of rooting?
I cannot root my Asus TF300TL although it is unlocked. I have tried both Motochopper as SRSRoot but both comes up with a failure. Motochopper tries to install Supersu, but when I opens it it says that no binary is installed. I have the new launcher for Jelly Bean 4.2. I have Jelly Bean 4.2.1, kernel 3.1.10-gee4edfb, version JOP40D.ww_epad-10.6.2.10-20130918.
Please review, [JB ROOT] motochopper works! (Root JB 4.1.1 & 4.2.1 with locked bootloader!)
You'd see that the method does work. You can post on that thread if you still have questions.
