[Q] Unstable Equalizer on Galaxy S6 (India Version) - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After having used the Galaxy S6 for about a month, I found the equalizer to be very unstable.
The equalizer automatically sets to normal from a custom setting in less than 10 minutes of listening to music.
Also, audio quality with 3rd party music applications such as Wynk or Gaana.com isn't as good either. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with the device?
Is it a software issue or a hardware problem? And what can be done to solve it?

Questions belong in Q&A, not general.
Thank you.

[Q] Android phone hardware sound

hi there,
I have tried to search and find out which Android phones have the best sound chips in them.
I had an SGS i9000, but the sound was not that good when compared with my mp3 player.
My searches always display results about the best Android music app, which is not what I want. I am looking for a phone with a really good quality sound chip.
Any ideas?
Best regards.

[Completed] Audio is out of sync constantly on every app

OK, i have a Samsung note 8.0 tablet (gt-n5110) currently running cyanogenmod 12.1 which is lollipop 5.1. I am an avoid movie downloader and I have tons of SD cards full of movies I've downloaded. I used to watch them seamlessly on my tablet until recently. I can't recall if this problem started with the new ROM or not but no matter what app I'm using or what movie I'm watching, after a few seconds the audio track will skip and subsequently become drastically out of sync (usually 2-3 seconds or more behind the video which is maddening to me). I have tried multiple apps however I still prefer MX player. I do have the custom ac3 codec but I've tried using the default codec for regular mp4 files, same problem persists. Also, the problem continues whether I'm using a Bluetooth speaker or not. Any help would be greatly appreciate . I've fooled with all the settings I can find in MX, tried VLC, etc. I can't seem to find an answer that had fixed my specific problem. At this point I'm really frustrated and just want it fixed so if the answer had been right under my nose, you can call me an ass, I won't take offense, just please give me the answer lol.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I assume you are using this ROM?
If so, here is the corresponding Q&A:
> Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 > Galaxy Note 8.0 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q&A] [ROM][N5110]Cyanogenmod 12.0[12/12/14]
Your developer should be able to assist in this problem. Please note, you will need to be registered for an XDA account in order to post there.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Gapless music playback with GPM?

Hi,
Hope someone can help me with this.
I've just come to a Pixel 3 from an S8 and one thing I've noticed is that GPM doesn't seem to do gapless playback (in 2019, FFS!)
Other music apps (like Gone Mad) seem to be able to do gapless, but not GPM - which seems to negate the point of a Pixel being a device for people who want a stock Android experience.
Just wondered if there was a solution for GPM and gapless on the Pixel 3?
Many thanks for any help...

I seem to recall a few years ago that you could edit some file if your phone is rooted, but you may have to do a Google search to find the details of the method.
Found this on Reddit ... I tried it and it worked for me:
In the developer settings set the "Disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload" to on.
It will require you to reboot your phone but gapless music playback works.
