After receiving the update for VoLTE, my phone would go to voicemail after 2 or 3 rings. I went to call settings to adjust the number of rings in the Additional Settings section of the Call Settings. When actually tapping the button for Additional Settings, I get this error shown in the pic. Anyone else experience this?

Try and go to that when not on LTE. Those settings are Plain GSM settings I think. Which apply to edge and HSPA

It doesn't matter wherher or not LTE is off or on...
For good measure, I flashed the KK ROM and checked this settings and they are accessible. After the update, I can't access the settings at all. A call to at&t had them fix the short rings/almost immediately to voicemail problem I had initially.
Not being able to access the settings is not an issue now - I wanted to see of this is something anyone else has experienced.

Earlier today a small blue Forwarding call icon got stuck in the notification bar on my NS. I haven't set up any call forwarding so not sure how the icon got there. The calls coming in are not forwarded. The icon is also there when pulling down the notification bar, and it says "Forwarding all calls" but clearly it isn't.
I use the SuperOSR rom and tried restoring a backup but the icon is still there.
Can anybody help to provide some info as to what could cause this? I've tried googling but haven't been able to find an answer. Thanks.
Edit: figured out that by actually setting up call forwarding and then disabling it made the icon disappear from the notification bar. Still have no clue as to why it appeared when no call forwarding was set up. Must be a minor bug.

Thanks a lot for this! It had been driving me crazy for days. I went to 3 and they had no solution. I was prepared to change my number because changing the SIM card had no effect.

Thank you so much. I've had this problem for ages. Even after a full /system wipe it would come back eventually.
Now I know how to fix it.
Much love!

Take another phone and call yourself and leave a message. Then take your phone, reboot, listen to the message and erase it.
IT'S BA-AAAACK!
The voicemail notification icon stays in the upper left and also cannot clear in pull down notification. The only way to clear it, is to go to the Phone App and Clear Data. However, it only last a few minutes. Also, I disabled the voicemail sound in the phone app settings but it does not stick. Ugh.
Stock, odexed, no root (yet) 4.4.1
Anyone else?

I set up the N5 today for a friend and turned on GV integration for JUST voicemail. well he has a sprint voicemail notification on the phone and can't get rid of it. we set up the sprint voicemail (even though it's not used) and there are no voicemails.
any idea how to make the notification go away?

My first post says how to clear it. I'm trying a few different combinations of things to fix it permanently... Out at least up until a reboot.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
When someone is calling i can only hear ringtone but i get nothing on screen.
I flashed Incallui multiple times, but i still can't see anything when someone is calling me, only ringtone.
When i try to call someone i get call not sent
Recently i hardly debloated my phone, could that be it?
I still have incallui in place where it should be, so what could this be?
Solved
I have the same problem and it solved some minutes ago. It is because of "notification of phone app" that was blocked by some unknown reason.
U can change it in settings > apps > on the menu select "show system apps" > phone > notification.
Hope work for you too.
Thanks
Recently since the update to OOS 9.0.2 whenever I receive a call, it vibrates and if the phone is unlocked a heads up notification appears, but the call no longer takes up the entire screen unless the heads up notification is tapped. Whenever the phone is locked, in order for me to answer a call I have to unlock the phone, pull down the notification bar, and scroll all the way down to the Phone notification in order to pickup a call. I checked both phone settings and system settings but was unable to find any setting related to the display of the incoming call screen. I also tried wiping cache from both the phone app and through stock recovery, cleared storage from the phone app, and made sure "Display over other apps" was allowed, but the issue persists.
Anyone have this experience or know of a way to troubleshoot the issue? Any help would be greatly appreciate.
Yeah, same to me, but happened randomly.
Solution found. I asked on the OnePlus forum and they pointed out that there are additional options in the notification settings of the Phone app. When you tap on Incoming Calls (*Not the Check Mark*) you would tap on Behavior and make sure to check Make Sound and Popup on Screen

I am using Google Phone and Contacts app (Samsung apps are terrible to use, although they look better).
When receiving a phone call, on top of the full screen page I see a notification popup: how can I disable it?
If I go into app's notification settings, all is enabled but greyed out, so cannot change.
Thx

click on right arrow and disable notification
As said, not possible, all greyed out and default to on
You could try with Auto Notification and Tasker
Do you have Google dialer installed? Can you show me how your notification settings look like (enabled or greyed out)?
They are greyed out on Samsung dialer too
I know why... Google is forcing some properties to fixed so that users cannot change notifications. Problem is that they should fix this behaviour which I believe is a bug.
Strange cos my Xiaomi phone does not have this problem: same app version, same settings greyed out.

Can you pls try to also set phone app as default for calls and ask some one to call you, to see if you get the notification? Keep screen off when waiting the incoming call, and try several times.
Thanks

I'm getting the notification. Always did
Strange... It shouldn't be there
Maybe it's because of "floating notifications" in settings. Check it.
By the way I get a similar notification while in another call/Viber call/Skype call even with Samsung dialer.
Google dialer is fugly.
NO, floating notification is to enable the floating popup when minimizing the dialer.
It seems as if when receiving the call with screen off, Google dialer detects the screen is already on, this displaying the full screen + the popup. As a matter of fact sometimes the popup does not show, but when it does (most of the times) it's annoying as hides that caller's nam

I have also had this issue for a while now, and could never figure out how to fix it either. I finally decided to try turning off the "Appear on top" permission setting in the app info section of the phone app. That seems to have done the trick, as now I only get the top pop up when I get an incoming call, then when I answer it goes to the full screen portion like normal. Maybe give that a try and see if it works for you.
