I don't know which model to buy. I will use with straight talk in the US. I would like for it to run on verizon towers. What is recommended? Thanks
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I assume you're looking for a galaxy S4. The best place to ask is here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4 or here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att Depending on what variant of the S4 you're looking at.

Hi, I'm sorry if this question doesn't belong here, I can't find the marketplace, maybe because I'm a newbie I've the following question, is Samsung Galaxy S i9000 available in US? I'm not talking about the US versions of Galaxy S, I'd like to buy the International version. Can you recommend me reliable online or retail store? I'm currently near Atlantic City, soon to go to NY, so I need your advice fast.Where can I get the phone without any plan, unlocked? As I'll be soon going to Europe and I really would like to buy the phone from the US. Please, no spam, I really need the advice on this one, ASAP. Thanks.
Anyone...?
I am having trouble deciding. Since you guys know already. I ask you.
It's between a galaxy nexus and the galaxy SIII.
Carrier might be either verizon or sprint depending on when I can get LTE.
Is there another phone I should consider?

SGS3, personally I like the Galaxy Nexus more (for the ROMs and development and soft buttons) but SGS3 specs are just better.

I tried looking around earlier but I couldn't really find a definite answer. With Metro's bring your own device plan
it says the galaxy nexus is compatible to be flashed to metro, is this correct?
Are all galaxy nexus's unlocked or do I have to buy a specific model, like the verizon or sprint model?
It doesn't really specify on their website.
Any help would be appreciated.
I was looking for Samsung Galaxy S3 to use on Straight Talk. It was for the nice lady who works the phones out my place of employment.
I found a great deal on craigslist, US Cellular Samsung Galaxy S3 (SCH-530R) I check the ESN, its not stolen.
I use the Straight Talk BYOP Finder tool to check compatibility. It tells me as what I learn later to be a "generic CDMA message" that it spits out for every CDMA ESN saying it will work with a network access code
The phone is not compatible they say, they don't care their tool didn't even get me some McDonalds before it ****ed me.
What can I do with this phone? US Cellular is more expensive than most plans around here at least and there is no US Cellular store within 100 miles.
Thank you for any time you spend here, you're all given a limited amount of time on this earth and you're spending some of it helping a stranger with a phone problem. Thank you. Happy Newyears!
Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your issue that has a solution. If your phone supports the radio bands on straight talk, it should be possible. Not sure if you need to sim unlock the device also.
Best to ask for help in this dedicated help thread in your device section,

Good luck!
I am looking to switch to Tmobile but would like to keep my Verizon Note 2, which is still in excellent condition. Can anyone point me to a good source on rooting the Note 2/Changing the APK/whatever I need to do to be able to use the phone with T-mobile? Thanks
