mod sucked
At first I liked the flow and was excited. WAS getting ready to donate until i asked the dev a common question that he should have known an answer ( you'd think) but was told "im on my own". I'll just keep my money instead of giving it to a prick. In the long run the mod turned out to be ****.

Hahahahhahahahahahahahahaha, thanks for the good laugh. I hope that was prick-enough for you as I'd like you to keep your money.
You sent me a random PM for a ROM that's more than 2.5 years old and tell me that you "cannot get any streaming service to show video. YT, HBOgo Netflix etc".
Do you expect me to flash my old ROM and debug the issue just for you and provide individual feedback? Apart from the fact that I never even owned a P999, just a P990 and ported the ROM over as a coutecy to those poor people who got left in the rain by LG.
Of course you are on your own! I told you that I "unfortunately do not know" the answer, but if you believe that I "should have known" it and think you gain anything from attacking me in public - be my guest, there's the door. Ciao.

Lolololol wow! Thanks for all the great development Tony. You're one of the few elite devs that brought life to this brick of a device!

CyanogenMod team Q&A video

Hi, I've just watched a Q&A session with the CyanogenMod team posted on YouTube. It's 45 mins long. There are some very interesting insights in some of the teams answers, especially at the end. With the "holy grail" question being. Which devices do you guys recommend.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDdwc...&feature=g-u-u
Have fun. Anil
PS. I'm certain none of the CM team will ever see this. But it needs to be said. Thank you for giving a ****! Otherwise our smart phone's, would simply be appliances.

GPS???
Okay, Love PAC rom and all, but I've flashed days after and the GPS STILL does not work. Can you guys throw out a fix asap? I need my GPS quite a bit, and this rom is my favorite. Don't want to have to switch back and forth between two roms just to use GPS lol
There's quite a few GPS fixes out for Roms in general you might wanna try:
1 tightening screws under the battery cover.
2. An app like GPS status to fix GPS.conf or check the thread in development dedicated to GPS fixes.
3. Go back to a TW rom get a good GPS lock then reflash your rom.
Or it could be an issue with the Tom itself if no one else has reported issues. Most aosp Roms have things like this worked out.
Good luck I hope this helps. I use GPS essentials to check my satellite count and other info GPS status may do this but my personal preference is the former.
My question is about paranoid and pacmans flagship feature of changing dpi of apps without changing it system wide. I dont know what its called but I asked in paranoid a few month's ago and they said it wasn't there just yet. Is it in pac at this time? I've always wanted to try it.I know its in older builds but last I asked it wasn't in 4.4 yet.
Thanks

Galaxy Gear
Will this ROM work with Galaxy Gear 2?
If not, is there a way to dual boot this with my AOKP ROM?
2 small issues
Love the ROM, but I am having 2 small issues
1. I cannot end a call with the headset button. It works to answer a call and to control music, but I cannot end a call by clicking the button. Is this a bug, or is there a setting somewhere.
2. It randomly reboots while using Waze (GPS App). Any suggestions?
Thanks

Woot! Can't wait.

I'm not new at flashing roms, never dealt with bump though. I'm guessing this is pre-bumped and go straight to flash?

Hey venom..what are you tweaking in version 1.1? Saw that you were working on it, but not much else? Thanks!
Just put rom on kids phone. She loves it. Waiting for 1.1 to try mine. Great job.
Update on kids phone. Rom still running good. No crashes. Just wanted to let everyone know.
1.1 running perfect so far. Flashed dirty.
Had to restart xposed. Then all settings came back

Venom style..
Thanks for bringing your rom to this phone!
My question is, how do I remove the "venom" style.. I used themes with g3 tweak but the red style still appears for icons (especially the application drawer one) and the gf dislikes it, loves everything else about the rom aside from the red n black lol

Candy rom is good, but to my view...
I've tried candy rom 2 days ago, and still using it. I've tried CM11, IzerHD, SungsonicHD, Slimkat, DhollmenKK and other many roms.
Candyrom attracted my eye because of its lollipop style and many other features, such as hover and slimkat-like style. Also I liked slimkat and Candyrom was based on slimkat, this also was a main reason why I tried out Candyrom.
Candyrom's overall designs and features were great, but I was also searching for Slimkat-based roms which have OC kernel. Candyrom didn't have. No offense, but to me, OC kernel was a very important feature because I wanted hardware controls, too.
Candyrom's second problem was, well, to me, I had some lag issues. It's not unbearable, but smoothness of Slimkat disappeared to my Espresso Galaxy Tab2 (p3110). First boot had some many lag issues, but I rebooted a few times and it got rid of some lags.
Thank you for a good rom, hoping that it becomes the best rom ever. This is my first review of rom try-outs.
Was having a problem with play store after update I flashed gapps and everything is good now.

Lots of issues
I've read plenty of reported issues that I can say I've been having as well (volume sticking at max in calls, mms not working on wifi, etc.) and I'm here to report another issue that REALLY bothers me.
About once or twice a day, the phone decides to restart, I've found that typing quickly in the keyboard can help instigate this. I really want to like this ROM but I really can't when it does this consistently. So far carbon is superior to every other ROM I've tried for various reasons (PAC was too heavy/had glitches, CM was featureless, Slim was just awful) but it's really frustrating to have an issue like this one combined with all the reported issues.
As a side note changing any settings in the camera causes it to crash and the infamous "Cannot connect to camera" message to appear if the app is restarted.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Phone: Sprint SPH-L710 running carbon build: CARBON-KK-NIGHTLY-20141106-0907 with stock kernel.
(I should mention my messaging app is hangouts and if at all possible I'd like to leave it that way. I did read it might be an app/carrier issue but I'm really hoping someone will tell me otherewise)

The link to the new thread from the sprint thread brought me here. Not to mention they are unified now hence d2lte vs d2spr as sprint would've been and d2vzw as I assume verizon would've been. The fact that the link to the "new thread" lead here would lead me to believe this is where they host the unified thread for the new unified ROM that works on all of the unified devices (all s3 devices except the international i9200 I believe)
Edit: I should insert here that I would've posted on the forum had it let me, but xda wanted me to post here instead. Honestly since the unification of ROMs it's often been confusing finding what places apply to your device. I'll be reposting this in the sprint Q&A if it exists, but I do still believe it is relevant to the rom in general.

Sometimes the redirection of threads confuses me especially the Q&A ones that always seem to claim that the OP/developer asked for, when I've noticed most times that isn't even the case
