Hi Guys,
i have a problem with my HTC One S.
It shutted down automatically and now now restart is possible, but loading status led lights orange if loading cable is plugged in., but if i connected it to the computer it was recognized as QHSUSB_DLOAD. Boot mode with volume - and power button not possible.
The other threads were very inscrutable and there´s in my opinion nothing for the OneS without using ubuntu.
Could you help me how to unbrick my OneS or is it impossible without a incircuit debugger?
Sorry about my bad english, i am german.
thanks a lot
Andy

Hi everyone. I am hoping that you will be able to help me because I am not getting any joy from the seller of my tablet. (Letsgomobile Hong Kong)
I am wanting to install the windows drivers for my Zenithink ZT-180 but having problems.
I am holding the round menu button down whilst I power up the Tablet and it shows a small android icon with a triangle containing an '!' inside the triangle on the screen of the tablet and if I press the menu button again it comes up with Android e2 and a mini menu which includes
Reboot
SD card update
clear Cache
and reset to factory settings
But when I plug it into my computer it detects device and is identifying it as Android Eclair.. and it wont accept the drivers included in Burntool 7.2..
looking at the guides on the net it appears that the device should be identifying its self as SEC SOC Test Board..!
Note I have tried several computers running xp,vista and win 7 and all do the same thing
Can anyone advise where I am going wrong? or is it that the tablet is faulty?
if you need any more info let me know
Many thanks in advance
Ken

USB Driver
Hi,
I had to update my ZT180 yesterday because it suddenly did not want to switch on aymore.
I had trouble getting my XP pc to recognise it and finally worked when I used a mini USB cable in the OTG port on the ZT. You have to make sure you are realy pressing the front button before you switch on, and then you will only see the blue light - nothing on the screen.
I tried with a mini USB adapter on a regular USB cable but it did not work. The proper cable came with my Nokia phone.
Here is a link to a good description of the process and a picture of the cable. ...dreambeta.com/support/zenithink-zt-180
Hi thanks for the advice but I am pressing the correct buttons but can't get the blue light to turn from green and instead it comes up on the screen with a triangle a small android and an "!" in the triangle???? pressing the home (round) button brings up a menu...I dont seem to be able to stop it booting into android can it be that the device has been locked????
Hello!
I have a problem with my HTC Vox (yes, there are still people who have one )
It started out with the display getting different colour tones as soon as i slided out the keypad too slowly.
One day however, the phone didn't boot up again, means, that the HTC logo shows, then the Windows Logo too, but suddenly it starts flackering and then it stays so.
I already tried the hard reboot and since Active Sync doesn't seem to recognize the phone anymore i'm really desperate about this. I hope somebody can help since I would love to keep that phone as long as possible!
Greetings from Germany

Hello everyone, please would someone give me some hint? I did something wrong, when flashing rom on my Touch HD to a win 6.5 version. Phone few times after flashing started up but get stucked while booting. After re-inserting batery it act like death. Nothing does. When I push power button or trying hard reset it doesnt react. When I put USB to a plug - orange led turns on, but after removing USB it keep lighting. Is there some way how to put working image into flash rom if phone is off? What can I do? Is there any chance to fix that or just put it into trash?
Thank you for your help and your time!
Hi everyone! Bad news :
I did an upgrade from WM 5.2 to 6.5 on my VOX/S710 and everything was ok, except for the rom wich was in English/German. I was looking for a Spanish one.
I've found a rom I thought it was the correct one but when I did the flash procedure the cellphone suddenly turn off. I've pushed the "on" button and nothing, i put to charge the battery (USB and main power cable)but there's no led activity, it's completely dead.
I've tried to enter the 'bootloader' mode but it doesn't work and the same thing for the soft reset.
The battery was fully loaded before that happens.
Extra: sometimes when i plug the usb, the red led shines for less than a second. I've read that maybe a fuse is broken but i couldn't find any info about it, where's placed, etc.
¿What can i do? Thanks.
Hi all,
I've a Samsung Nexus S here from a friend of me.
The phone was rooted and flashed with Cyanogenmod 10.1. Without any special action the phone doesn't power on again after a reboot (during a software update CM10.1). There's nothing. Only a black screen. No lights! Nothing...
I've tried to power on it for several times. I've tried to start it into the download mode and the fastboot mode. But only a black screen. My computers Mac, Linux, Windows are detecting nothing when I'm connecting them to the phone.
Do you've any ideas for unbrick this nexus s?
regards
Marco

That's exactly what I'm working on right now.. Let's start with the basics.. Do you have a good cable (tested with other micro-usb devices?)? If so, on Linux, under terminal, does the lsusb command show any Samsung devices while connected?
Hi,
I have a similar problem.
My Nexus S suffers from the power button bug with the power button occasionally not working. When I turned it off today (using the terminal as I always do) it shut down as normal. However, when I tried to start it again it, it would not boot. When I press the power button (it usually works to start the phone, it just does not work within the recovery / OS), the backlight turns on but there is no vibration and it does not proceed to the Google logo. Similarly if I try to start it using the charger, the backlight turns on but it does not proceed from there.
Linux does not recognise the device, i.e. neither dmesg nor lsusb show any output. Therefore I cannot use the Unbrickable Resurrection tool.
Would doing that be helpful?

I cannot enter Fastboot or Download mode. Again, only the backlight turns on.
Is it a hardware fault?
Has anyone had similar problems?
Thanks.
Yes, it will if yours is a i9020a or t. BUT you need a VERY steady hand and PROPER soldering equipment.. I had mine in Dev mode but it wasn't flashing anything, so I thought I didn't do something right, took it all back apart, and 20 mins and a popped micro resistor (from too much heat from the soldering wand) later, I had a completely dead phone.. So if you attempt it, be very careful.. If you don't feel comfortable you can do it, I would definitely find someone who can..
