Just get Titanium backup will need the paid version with that you can delete apps also freeze them so they can not run also gives option to move apps to your sd card
Here is a link to a site where it tells you what apps you can remove.

[Q] What can be safely uninstalled from a Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE Virgin Mobile

Hello I'm a new member to these forums but I have been using them for some time. I have successfully rooted my Samsung Galaxy Victory from Virgin Mobile and was wanting some advice on what software was safe for me to uninstall. I have both Samsung and Virgin Bloatware along with Google software I don't use but am unsure if it is NEEDED or not. I was hoping I could get a list of apps that are okay for removal. I've rooted using Odin v3.04, Busybox v1.20.2 CWM+, SuperSU v0.94+, and TWRP 2.4.3.0 I'm still using the default rom. I'm just looking for more internal memory and less resource consumption.
I have searched these forums for more Samsung Galaxy Victory FAQ but it is scarce. That's why I felt led to ask myself. Thank you to you all for your replies.

Bump
First of all, if you have it, remove Kies Air. Then you might consider removing Samsung Apps and AllShare. Also remove the crappy system live wallpapers.

LIst of Removable Bloatware Apps
The 2 links provide a list of Bloatware that can be removed from our phone. I slimmed my backups down to 485 MB (1st Backup was 689 MB) using TWRP 2.5. Here's the links:

Removing Apps Question

Just got my S3 today.
Rooted it when I walked in the door.
I'm not new at all to rooting but I was wondering if using ROM toolbox was safe to use for removing Verizon's bloat from the stock ROM.
I'm trying to just stay stock here...

I run rom toolbox on mine and I have used it to remove apps. I use andybones rom and they are all gone anyway. I really don't remember if it can remove all the bloat or not.

I know for a fact that Titanium Backup works, used it the other day. I can't think of any reason Rom Toolbox wouldn't though
I just used Rom Toolbox to uninstall a system apk. (Only a wallpaper apk) bit o it worked. I usually use TiBu.

Does anyone know if someone has posted the stock 4.1.2 OTA ROM without the bloat? Or should I do this?

[Q] Suggestions For Rooting?

Could someone suggest the best (safest) method of rooting my AT&T G3? I've only rooted a couple of phones over the years, so I'm not terribly experienced at this. I don't want to flash any new ROMs or change the phone drastically. I don't even care much about removing bloatware. I'd be happy if I could just remove that stubborn circle clock widget on the lock screen and would really love it if I could restore the FM radio.

IO root (I think that's the name) is simple just enter in two commands
In the adb and that's pretty much it. Also I think the radio is a hardware thing and is only on the D855 international model.

I'd go with Towel Root. Its unbelievably easy and works perfect. Google towel root and go to the website to download the apk. Once you download and install, open it up and hit "make it rain" then boom your rooted. After that I'd download SuperSU.

This. Towelroot is by far the easiest and safest route. Doesn't even have to reboot the phone. IT JUST WORKS
Curious, I'm relatively a newbie, after Towel Root method and the phone is rooted what benefits are gained? For example, Is it possible after rooting to install an app for Hotspotting?

After root you will will be able to download apps and tweaks that would require root to run. Its like having full access to your phone and files. Like having admin rights I guess. I'm not sure about hotspot.

Thanks for the tips everyone.
About hot spots. I rooted my G2 and was able to tether whereas before, AT&T prevented this function unless I paid extra.
Not sure I want t o do it at this point because the risk/benefit isn't worth it for me. This phone has so much storage that the bloatware isn't an issue and I never really tethered as much as I thought I would. Too bad about the FM radio. Regaining that function would persuade me.

MetroPCS sm-j700t1 sim unlock app

So I made the mistake of not backing up the MetroPCS sim unlock app and couldn't make a nandroid due to the encryption limitations, which I've since fixed.
I was seeing if anyone could upload the app, then we can also have this for archive purposes and incluebitnin custom ROMs
Anybody? ?

There is the simlocker folder
Thank you very much downloading now
Update: so I placed the files in the priv-app folder and it shows up and runs fine. Unfortunately, I think since I'm running Walker blue v2 and not stock. I get the message saying the app is incompatible with this device. That because the rom reports that it's an S7 I believe.
When I'm eligible for the network unlock, I'm going to flash back to stock.
Just a heads up to anyone that needed this as well.

The link doesn't work can someone re-upload?
