I use Tasker which can do everything juice defender does and more, but yes, it does help if your phone goes into airplane mode over night, and auto switch off wifi when you leave home.

I bought tasker after reading wnp_79's description of it within his guide and have never regretted spending the money for a minute!
wnp_79 and ben_pyett ,you've convinced me ,gonna get Tasker
I'm using a free version, and it definetly improves battery life
Am using the ultimate version and not much difference

Yes but not a huge amount. I found I used 20-30% battery per day with it turned on so I saved maybe 10%.

Tasker also adds all the additional automation functionally, saving you tine and effort which is far more important

I disagree, tasker automates my use of my radios and sync' ing depending on location, time and date (thanks wnp_79), so it will not just save you some battery but also data which is just as important if you're on a limited data plan.

K Guys Have a bit of OS knowledge and stuff...
So all I can say juice defender or tasker won't save battery...they would just automate things better...
So if you shut wifi evrytime you finish with its use and blah blah other such things...
It won't help a bit...
Else if you forget and stuff...then you would see improvement...
Thats the fact...So if you use your cell efficiently you won't need it...

I would recommend not using cymbaline right now, because of the bln it will give you bad battery life. Not sure if there's a version without it or not though.

when you say "screen on" time... it means you are using your phone with screen on (surfing, txting, etc.). 9 hours screen on time is a miracle on this phone. lol

I'm not looking to clog the thread with a back and forth but there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY you got 9hrs screen on. It is kind of ironic how u just "deleted" those screenshots recently. Btw if they are on threads then they are still there. I would love to see the pics! Battery cycle in between <3
Have a nice day

Listen, your not gonna change my mind and those pics don't really prove anything. I don't see the history details pic accompanying the various screen times so don't jump for joy and expect an apology. Its not happening

Do people just not use im on phone because all the apps kill the battery super fast or is there a good one that doesn't?

All dependant on the app you use, look through the store to see which ones are good and which are not. If an app has a battery drain issue, most likely its all in he reviews. I really couldn't comment seeing as I don't use an IM program myself

Oh I'm taking it for a spin. More than half way downloaded gogo. Battery life isn't much of a concern for me now that I have my drain fixed. I am around a charger most of the time. Performance is what I'm all about
