[Q] ASUS TF300T - BRICKED (or not???) - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi friends,
this is my first post here, and that's a real honor to write on this community.
Unfortunately, I'll start with a problem...:crying::crying::crying:
I had (until yesterday) Cyanogenmod 11 on my ASUS TF300T, but lately, it started to be very slow.
I needed 3 minutes to switch it on, and over 5 minutes to be sure that all the apps were normally working, so I decided to install the Cyanogenmod 12. After a normal installation, everything was good, but I wanted to clean completely the system, and eventually reinstall only those apps really necessary to me.
So I entered in the system options and clicked on the factory reset button...after 30 secs my tablet restarted, and sadly it blocked on TWRP start. What I see, is only the "TEAMWIN" logo, that flashes every 5 secs.
I've tried with the reset button, VOL +, VOL -, switched on and off dozen times.
It shows everytime the line "The device is unlocked, the the logo ASUS, and finally the "TEAMWIN" logo.
It goes automatically to this blue logo also when I charge the tablet.
To switch it definetly off, I need to keep pushed the VOLUME +, with the power button, and release only this second button when the screen is dark.
The charge is regular.:good:
Connecting the tablet to the pc (Windows 8.1), USB 2, is useless: I only receive a message, requesting to change port or switch the tablet on (all my USB ports say the same).
What should I do? ( before I trash everything)...:crying:
Thank you in advance

[Q] Can you handle this uber-debricking challenge on my HTC Desire?

Hi,
so if you have seen of a thread directly relevant to this please post the link...
My HTC Desire is bricked to the point it won't even display anything on the screen.
I have had Cyanogen7 installed for over a month. It was working OK, then I power cycled it. It did not boot fully, restarting at the swirly arrow cyanogen screen. Next, I entered boot loader, and exited that when I removed the battery. I then required HOME and MENU buttons to be pressed in addition to VOL DOWN + POWER in order to enter boot loader.
It took 35 seconds to leave the initial splash screen.
It took an extra 10 seconds for the OS to hit the point where it restarted, and it stayed constantly restarting the swirly arrow cyanogen screen every 10 seconds.
And now the piece-de-resistance – I installed the Android SDK, hoping to run fastboot to at least recover my data. After SDK installed I connected the Desire to my PC, and now it won't even turn on. Before the SDK USB drivers were installed it would enter HBOOT. Now, absolutely nothing. Not even a splash screen. Tried all button presses when turning on, removing SD and SIM, left battery out for 1 min, still nothing.
After following the instructions here:
wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Howto:_Install_the_Android_SDK
I installed the generic USB divers, and power cycled my PC. Left the USB cable connected for 10 min in-case the battery had run down (battery sitting at 3.2V). Still no joy.
This is the worst value paperweight I have ever bought.
Any advice on how to recover this would be great.

[Q] After System Restore - TF101 Keeps Booting Over and Over Again

Hello All!
My brother gave me his Asus Transformer TF101 to sell but it was heavily modified so I set about putting it back into factory state.
He had TWRP installed so I booted into that (recovery mode, volume down + power, etc.) and proceeded to do a restore. I selected the restore point and clicked "go." Everything seemed to work but now my TF never gets beyond the boot screen (the screen that says "ASUS, Inspiring Innovation..." and has the spinning circle). Obviously something went wrong with the restore and I can deal with that, however, I have a BIGGER PROBLEM now.
I cannot power down my TF. When I press and hold the power button it shuts down (the screen goes black) but then it starts right back up again. I have tried to hold the power button down for 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, etc. but it always reboots.
Can someone please let me know how I can stop my TF from rebooting over and over again?
Thank you,
Jan
P.S. The main reason why I am needing to power down is I am trying to boot into APX mode so that I can use Easy Flasher.
try vol - and power more than 15secondes. Until you get 2 icons (1 for reset 1 for boot android)

When the tf turns itself off just start holding volume-up, eventually the screen will stay blank and you are in APX mode, I've had this issue a few times, just hold volume up and it will eventually boot into apx.
Also try volup and power to hard reset then it will turn on again automatically, be sure to keep holding volume up, apx will eventually come on.

[Q] [HELP] -Garmin-Asus A10 -Requesting for technical support

Suspected problem: Bootloop
It all started when I connect my phone (Garmin-Asus A10 (v5.0.82 (updated with GarminAsusPhoneUpdater_Telenor_v2.0.3.exe of denmark))) on laptop through USB cable, the USB slot looks slightly damaged already upon looking at it, after connecting the expected to be happen is that the back-light will turn on, but what happen is that the phone has no response from it, I try to press the power button still no response, I removed the battery and bring it back and try to turn on again the logo appears (without vibrate which is supposed to be present in turning on my phone) then disappear after 7-10 secs.
It's already stock on the logo as I turn it on, the moment I pressed the power button the logo appears for about 7-10 secs then it disappear, also when I removed the battery and put it back the logo appears without pressing anything and disappear again after 7-10 secs.
I try to wipe the data through Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Button the ** WIPE USERDATA ** appears but then after a few secs it disappear again which is supposed to last for about a minutes.
And also I still can go to the **USB POLLING MODE ** through Volume Up + Power Button but seems like there is nothing to do with that thing.
I know it will be easy to fix this with the use of Garmin-Asus phone updater but it requires the phone storage which is so impossible to access at this point.
Hope you guys can help me with this, I badly need that phone.

Updates:
I can already open the phone and go to the home screen and menus... etc., but only when I close/cover the 1st metal/copper of the battery (back view (- to +))., but then I get an error saying that "The installed battery is not compatible with this device"
Upon doing this the phone is keep on rebooting, even if I already turn it off it keeps on turning on by itself, also I can't use any network at this point.
I already formatted the phone using master clear & **WIPE USERDATE** (Volume up + power button) still got the same problem.
And also updated with 006-B1243-00.update (The last .update file I used to update my phone (V5.0.82 DN)), upon rebooting after verifying the .update file it just blink twice then the update stops already at that point.
Updates 2:
Physically there is nothing wrong with the phone, I can still use the phone but as I mention already "only when I close/cover the 1st metal/copper of the battery (back view (- to +))." everything works fine except for the error "The installed battery is not compatible with this device" the red with "X" battery (Screenshot-1434948958913)
Also I notice something from my storage the "System Volume Information" (Screenshot-1434949331146, Screenshot-1434949336619, & Screenshot-1434949345666), I'm pretty sure that I haven't seen yet that before, I deleted the folder still it comes back.
Also once I connected my garmin phone to my computer the USB connected thing (Screenshot-1434949876071) don't disappear just until I restarted the phone.
Thanks in Advance.

Black Screen, Green Power LED, APX with USB connect to PC?

So, I am in new territory here. My tf300t suddenly stopped working. I had previous unlocked the tablet (years back) but never installed a custom rom. It was working fine for a few years and I factory wiped along the way a couple times. So a couple months ago I did a factory reset again and it seemed fine for a few weeks. Yesterday I picked it up and I can't get it to turn on. Here are the symptoms:
It will charge and shows a green LED
Can only get a Black screen and will not boot, no ASUS screen or anything
I tried holding power for 30 seconds
I tried holding power and volume down for 30 seconds
I tried the tiny reset hole with a paper clip and the same with power button
When I connect to my computer with a USB it shows up as APX on Windows 10
Is it just dead now? Bricked? Thanks for any insight! Seems strange but maybe it decided to die.

I have no idea what happened to your tablet. If I were in your boots, I would install "Minimal ADB & Fastboot" from here: http://freeandroidroot.com/download-minimal-adb-and-fastboot-all-versions/. Then please check whether the USB driver are installed or not. If not get them here: https://androidmtk.com/download-asus-usb-drivers.
Connect your tablet via USB with your PC. The devise manager should show "Android Phone" => ASUS Composite ADB Interface and "Portable Devices" => TF300
After that seen you have access via ADB to your tablet. Then please flash the latest Asus firmware update to get your tablet on a clean stock rom. For assistance please search the forum. Good luck!

[Solved] Hard bricked after pressing "Start" + "Vol. Down" (?)

Hi, I was trying to root my tab using Brk's Toolkit 8.0
But first, I had to go in APX mod. So I truned the pad off, pressed "Vol up" + "Start" but the tab just booted normally. I did it like 3 times and it always did the same thing.
So I figured I could test holding "Vol. Down" instead of "Vol. Up" while the tab was not booted but plugged to my PC.
The screen flashed, but the tablet didn't start. Instead, it turned black then showed the charging logo.
I tried again. Same flash. But this time the screen went black and nothing responds now. The screen is forever black.
How could this happen ? I know a device can turn into a brick after installing a ROM, but I didn't installed it yet...
Thanks for your insight
EDIT : Okay I feel super dumb but to be honest I didn't find this information elsewhere on the internet so I'm gonna share it :
After contacting Asus' support, they told me to maintain the POWER button for approx. 30 sec, then charging the device again.
Hope this could help someone
