I don't think that it would give a signature error instead I checked the script there is a check for device name if I change it to ferrari it's could work

U r modifying updater script it doesnt hold the signature, signature is stored in meta inf folder. And changing into ferrari will only work with a custom recovey bcoz it doesnt check signature.. U try urself it wil giv u a signature verification error bcoz zip is made for redmi 1s

I signed the su zip myself and successfully bypassed signature verification but now instead of signature verification error it shows installing update.zip error

patch will made & upload soon..
now open zip file & extract it to a folder in your sdcard
now open every folder & copy it includes into system/that folder
for example copy whats into lib folder to system/lib

I did exactly what you said but after restarting phone stuck at boot loop thank god I had backup. Please provide flashable zip.
I had ported and tried this before itself.. It works!

[FINALLY FIXED THE UPDATE.ZIP ]
Hey guyz. From around last 3 to 4 builds of serenity, there has been an issue of phone.apk force closing while making calls. The other phone.apk provided in the thread had some resolution problem and caused the receive call screen to lool messed up. It also has the issue of the status bar not being center alligned.
I created an update.zip for the above mentioned problems, which shall fix both the issues.
Just flash from recovery.

Meaning... it was successful? "Aborted" for me is more like cancelled, or stopped due to error.

Its not the updater script, its the update-binary that's giving you problem.
Take an update-binary from any zip file that works for you and replace it into your zip file.

So I found a ROM for you device and extracted the update-binary.. Here it is (xda won't let me upload files without extensions, so I zipped it, just extract it and put it in your ROM

Here's the ROM I used. Just take your files from "META-INF". But I doubt this updater-script will work.

I Saw a Hell Lot of Code There and still my mobile is not rooted
Try Both methods before Posting and even if doesnt work after that, look at the code and search for any part with 'Filesystem is locked'. If that is present then you have to bootunlock your mobile , And is it is not there then post the Screenshot

pls may i know if you have installed your drivers or u need extra sony drivers to perform it, and if it shows adb server cannot be started then ofcourse u need to reboot your pc.
if this isnt the problem then pls do tell me about it that ho can i rectify it

There is no universal root. Some OEMs change things to prevent rooting. Also XDA doesn't support most china based devices for lack of following the GPL laws.

Your device has the same problem as HTC devices. You need to s-off ( security off) your device as your file system itself is locked. Pls do notify me on this if you get the filesystem unlocked and if not possible then the device cant be rooted unluckily
