[Q] BAMF_1.6 NTE & Remix bug in Chinese?

When set the phone language to Chinese(English is just fine), menu button get com.android.mms crash while in any program page like message or contacts.
BAMF_1.5_NTE is fine
BAMF_1.6_debloat also fine
full wipe before flashing BAMF_1.6_NTE.
sorry for my poor English, hope you guys can understand what i mean.

different error message when pressing menu button under different program
and the error message is in chinese(english version works just fine),:-(. i doubt that chinese error message goona help^
and i found out where the issue is
when i replace /system/framework/framework-res.apk(nte) from /system/framework/framework-res.apk(debloat)
it works fine.
i cannot reply the thread in development forum^^, so .......

This was fixed in 1.6.1.

sorry to say , 1.6.1 nte does not fix the issue
i just full wipe and flash 1.6 and 1.6.1 by 2 steps, and the bug remain

Well I don't speak Chinese so....without a logcat I cannot help you.

Yea it seems everything works except for market and htc sense account setup . thats all i noticed

You can see in my screenies. Wifi is working perfectly for me. Currently trying to fix market. Will keep you posted....

It worked at first and overtime it my phone did like a soft reboot and then wifi said error, i updated my market with the chinese root explorer but when i use a downloaded app the app fc .

I've got an edited version ready. Has the Market fixed. I'm making a new one to get rid of the Chinese apps and add back in the English versions.

I just fixed the market. You can check the screenshots. I am currently uploading the fixed version.
Edit: I changed the Root Explorer with File Expert (english)

Imma Wait Till Htc Sense Login Is Fixed, Twitter For htc, Facebook for htc and the widgets that came with new htc explorer widgets are added, I want a full goodie experience . Kinda like having a new phone .

market says "this app is not available in your country" lol (just thought that was funny for some reason)
set cpu force closes on opening
wifi errors out.( worked fine on set up but errored after reboot)
sync causes laaaaaggg
automaticly reboots about mmmm every 5 mins.
dont get me wwrong bro, once all the little bugs get worked out, this ROMs gonna be awesome. thanks for getting it up man. later

Did you factory reset and wipe your data, cache, boot, system and dalvik as well? Please do this before flashing my rom and let me know the outcome...
Edit: what version of recovery are you using?

oh yeah,,,i usually wipe all, format all, and wipe all again. then ill flash either caulkins or flashes formatall.zip before flashing anything,,,im using CWM 2.5.0.7 recovery...do have a recomendation for a different recovery ? thanks by the way

I have 4.0.1.4 recovery. I am currently on my mobile otherwise I would have given you the link. Anyways let me try via my mobile if I can get you that....

It does happens to me as well it gets lost in under the heap of files anyways I am currently running the same rom on my heroc it is getting smoother and faster on every restart bro. Let's hope same for you this time...

Spencer installing this battery widget my phone just forse closes.so I tryed reinstalling stock Tom with oldin and phone still just force closes and wont let me do anything.Help please

My bad the post above disregard.this battery mod has my phone useless with forse closes.tryed reinstalling my nandroid backup and doing stock with oldin.neither worked still force closes can't get in phone.

OK. Note this is not a widget - install the zip file via CWM Recovery screen.

That's exactly what I did installed with cwm (recovery)

Well this completely removed my status bar. Figure it's conflicting with the 14 Quick Panel I have installed. All stock other than that.

i installed this as well , see my sig on rogers lte and it wiped my status bar as well , thankfuklly i had a nandroid backup as well. to bad this is verry nice loking and exactlly what i was after.. any fixes ?

Download the alien rom.
Install via CWM
Restore from nandroid
Fix Permissions
Wipe Dalvik Cache.

Hi - weird I definitely cooked this using my Skyrocket rom... no issues for me since I cooked and installed it.

I have the Alien ROM and I'm getting the same issue as them.

Yeah it is a good rom, surprisingly, battery is holding for more than one day with moderate use. Screen transitions are a bit laggy but acceptable. Overall I liked this very much. Keep up the good work. Thumbs up!!!!

Oh my! For me it is one of the most stable and smooth rom for my o net.. everything works except usb tethering, the battery holds long time...the interface and ui performance is so smooth..responds immediately without hanging...runing in 48o-902 mhz oc... :thumbup:

deeps,actually first time I tried to download it normally through browser but after 78 MB it shows error that file cannot be read. I tried this many times but didnt workd.
After that I downloaded it through Internet Download manager, now I had the entire file but its also in three parts all of them were corrupted.
I repaired 2 of them & combined to one zip. But after flashing only LG logo comes & remains there, nothing happens.Three parts are as follows.
1) SonyHD-AD-Bros..zip (78 MB/corrupted/repaired/file was libttspico.so )
2) SonyHD-AD-Bros..zip1 (23kb corrupted/unable to repair)
3) SonyHD-AD-Bros..zip23 (40 MB/corrupted/repaired)
please if you can help or post a new link with one single file..million thanks in advance

Love this ROM
Hey this has got to be the best ROM for LG P690 in terms of usability... the battery holds out for more than a day with continous gprs usage!!
But I am desperately waiting for USB tethering in the next update as promised..
Only hitch is that I cannot seem to open xlsx files after installing this..
Also could you add support for horizontal homescreen/main menu?
and an option for recovery mode in the power button menu.. please..

One problem though, I always get a Twitter-related error/force close during bootup and after installing apps. I noticed the error was related to the ROM as it showed up when I first booted the ROM from a clean install and even after I've installed the Twitter app via market.
The error message goes: "The application Twitter extension (process com.sonyericsson.eventstream.twitterplugin) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"

I was looking around XDA in the Xperia threads and found that Eventstream/Timescape-related apk's were safe (at least, on Xperia devices) to remove. Timescape is an Xperia Social app.
Just for testing purposes, I tried removing:
EventStream.apk
EventStreamPlugin.Telephony.apk
EventStreamPluginFacebook.apk
EventStreamPluginTwitter.apk
Then I rebooted and tested the phone by installing/uninstalling apps and rebooting, and the errors were gone.

Some bug of "Remics-JB - SIII Feel on Jelly Bean! V2.0.0"

1. It seems not rooted, The superSU show some error: "su binary not found"
2. The camera cannot store photo to extended SD card.
3. The clock do not have World time, Stopwatch...

Me too, flash rom twice and fix permission doesn't work.
Quick fix:
1. Install superuser from google play
2. Open superSU and update binary.

Just notice it, camera works but.. you need to select it twice.

well the slider cam works when you go slower-
nothin' to go with it- even SE- Neo V gets this problem with its stock rom.

Some other bug:
2.I input the "*#*#4636#*#*" codes using the dialer to access phone features and information, but it show some error: "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped."

Problem Exchange server mail
I've installed Remics-JB and works very nice, but I had problems to connect my e-mail to Exchange server, untill previous version Remics v1.6 was working perfectly., the error messageis: "couldn't open connection to server".
After looking for help in google I found that, by default JB Exchange client uses port 443, so just change to 80, and now is working perfect.

Please add langpack in this firmware.
