[Completed] [Q] S5 not turning on after formatting /system - XDA Assist

Hello,
I recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy S5, and i opened clockwork mod custom recovery. I formatted /system and rebooted the phone. Now it is stuck on samsung galaxy s5 screen and wont turn on. Is there any way to fix it without losing my files? Help please. Thanks.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist again. In the future please ask your questions in your device specific forum, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5 The answer to your question is still, you need to flash the stock firmware in odin and you will lose data.

[Completed] Verizon Galaxy Note 3 BIG ISSUES

Hey all, I'm new to the forum (although I've been crawling around for years without a name)
I recently got hold of a Verizon Galaxy Note 3 SM-900V from a buddy of mine who bricked it or something. I have great experience rooting my devices so I figured I'd take it from him and try and get it working.
I'm not 100% sure what he has tried to flash, and hasn't but I'll tell you where my issues are, maybe someone can help!
Device doesn't go passed the Verizon screen. The bootloader is unlocked, but by the looks of it he did NOT install any type of Recovery System other than the original Android one. I've tried to see if I could flash any on the device, but it appears I can only use SafeStrap, and in order to install the device must power fully on. I've gone into the normal Android Recovery, deleted Cache, and Data/Factory Reset multiple times. Still goes to Verizon Screen.
Than I figured I'll just push 4.4.2 back in through Odin. Nope. I have the stock firmware and everything, but it stops on Odin at Aboot and my phone will say Fused 3 Binary 2? I'm really lost on that, I know it's due to the bootloader being unlocked.
It seems the only thing in Odin that will pass is the "unified KK Firmware." I'm kinda at a lose on this phone (luckily it was free) but I really would like to get it working.
Thanks in advanced and I really appreciate all the hard work everyone does here.
I'm really stuck on this.
I can't load stock, I can't recover, I can't factory wipe. Anyone?
What version do I flash? NC4? MJE?
Also, when I try and flash with stock recovery (since my buddy didn't install Safestrap) I get a error message. I believe it's footer is wrong -signature verification failed. I'm not sure what this means?
Thank you guys. I'm sure I can get this phone to work since I can get it to turn on, it's not a full brick.

I really appreciate the help. I'm going to check it out and hopefully be good to go from here. Will update this thread with the info if it goes through, and if it doesn't I will be posting in the other. Again, thank you so much!
Ugh... Still no go. Same thing.
It fails at the aboot.mbn
Again...asking for help in that thread is your best bet.
I think there is something wrong with my bootloader. Is there a way to reset or lock it? I tried everything, it won't load past the red verizon screen.
I'm noticing my little Android in the back of Recovery Mode says "No Command" also. Kinda strange.
XDA Assist is here to help guide members to where they should be able to find help. We don't do support I'm afraid. Please ask in the thread I linked. And again, they know your device best.

[Completed] [Q] can internal storage photos be recovered after an odin stock flash?

lost internal memory storage photos after i flashed stock rom on my phone. ran Dr.Fone with no results. Are my screenshots/saved images lost forever or is there some way to get them back?
I am pretty sure they are gone.
If you can post your device details, it would be of help to point in the right direction.
I have a samsung galaxy s4 i337
rooted and had 4.2.2 and wanted to update to 4.3 (didnt get updates pushed to it) so i manually downloaded 4.3 and flashed that to my phone using odin.
not sure what other details to give, let me know if that helps
I do believe you have lost them forever.
Please post in AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
just to take a second opinion from the right experts.
Alright, and yeah i have posted there as well. Thanks again for your help.

[Completed] help with installing my first rom just have couple question

hi id like to install the cynagenmod, so im using a samsung galaxy s2 gt i9100p its on android 4.1.2, i also had to use the galaxsim unlock to unlock the phone and wanted to know if this will effect anything and if theres anything i should be aware of before atempting to flash my phone with this rom, i also find it hard to find the easiest beginer friendly guides tbh, when i search there just seems to be so many and all with differnt ways of doing it
so can i just have some advice before starting? thx
these are the things im worried about
WARNING
Some second-generation Samsung Exynos devices are potentially susceptible to a "superbrick" caused by performing a factory reset with the stock kernel, which effectively kills the internal memory in the device. It is highly recommended you do not perform this operation while using a stock kernel for safety reasons. To make sure you aren't running the stock kernel (only needed when coming from the stock ROM), fully install CM without performing a factory reset and reboot to recovery before you perform the factory reset.
WARNING:
If you used a non-official method to remove a provider lock, your /efs partition may become corrupt! It is highly recommended you make a backup of this for safe keeping before attempting to modify your device, especially if you plan to remove such a lock.
is the galaxsim unlock what this is referring to? because i used that to unlock my phone? and the first warning is my phone a samsung Exynos, mines a galaxy s2 i9100p, so this doesnt aply to me does it?

[Completed] Galaxy S3 unable to mount no data showing up on twrp

Im new to the whole rom thing and simply wanted lollipop on my galaxy s3 but whenever I want to flash the rom and the gapps it says unable to mount and it lists all these errors, it will normally boot back into the stock touchwiz, I have sprint kit kat 4.4.2, I cant do anything when I go to recovery twrp (2.8.6) it says that I have zero data in my internal and sd, I was wondering if there was any fix to this. Thanks you for your time.

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy S6 stuck in boot loop - mistakenly installed two custom recoveries.

My Samsung Galaxy S6 running Lollipop 5.1.1 is stuck in a boot loop after I installed Clockwork whilst I had TWRP installed. I can't access either recovery mode. I can only access download mode but for some reason, Odin keeps crashing when I try to install the Stock ROM file. Hoping there's a better way. Thanks in advance.
Hi, and thanks for using XDA Assist.
First thing first. It wasn't a mistake. That is how you install a new custom recovery over the old. Flashing a new one overwrites the old one.
I am going to have this thread moved to the S6 Q&A forum, where there will be experts with the S6 that can help you further.
Good luck!
As Odin fixed your issue, this thread is closed.
If you have further questions, you can post them in the help section for your device

Kudos on fixing your issue and welcome to XDA
