My tab (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2), it has a TWRP recovery it used to work fine, the whole tab used to work fine since last day it started to crash (Android 5.0.2 SlimLP ROM), continuously crashing, each and every app started to crash no matter with full cahrge or zero battery level or how many restarts, okay I could have handled that by reflashing it by itself or other ROM or doing a factory reset but whenever I am doing it via recovery nothing is happening, the same SlimLP 5.0.2 opens the same settings and wallpaper which I have changed twice.
Any Ideas?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Have you flashed the stock firmware in Odin? And if so do you still have the problem? Please see this,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2203309. And also this,http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2

Hi, my phone is currently running on ICS stock, the sweden version (Q9). Some time back, just to see what it was, I had encrypted my device. I faced some problems regarding touch and USB port, so without decrypting it, I flashed a GB ZSKK5 ROM. It showed some error while flashing that ROM, so I flashed it again and this time it got flashed successfully.
Then when all was good and nice, I flashed the ICS sweden version again. This time I faced problems like 'closing of android.phone process' etc. Also when I go to recovery mode, I see th android logo with a orange exclamation!! Also none of the options work in the recovery mode.
Has anyone faced something like thiS? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Ok thanks guys
Also, none of the options in the stock ICS recovery mode are working. Is this normal too? A bug in the ROM etc?

Hi all,
I just bought a p5113 device and immedietly upgraded its 4.0.4 android OS to 4.1.1 via Kies.
It is now (but even before the upgrade) restarts randomly several times per use.
It seems to me the that systme hangs for a sec and then restarts.
I wiped the device and the partition and restarted again, but witho no change...
Can you advise please?
Thanks!!!
Is this a new device from a local vendor? I'd be tempted to return it..
Otherwise I'd consider reflashing the entire rom by using cf autoroot then installing cwm and picking a rom from the Dev section

Why?
Do you think it might be a HW issue?

Devices is broken ... My tab is start restart every 3-5 mins sell it.
Hi! All. My default message app has not been working recently. whenever i open it it juz force closes. Also notice the tab starting to hang at bootup & touchscreen not responding randomly. Was thinking of re-flashing my original firmware which i can download from Sammobile & flash it using odin. But before i do it would like to confirm the following:
1) Can i re-flash the firmware on a non-rooted tab?
2) Will re-flashing the firmware result in losing all my apps & data?
I do not wish to root my tab therefore would like to find out if the above is it possible. Appreciate anyone's advice on this before i proceed.

I was on an very old version of baked rom when i decided it was time to upgrade to the new pac rom. I havr installed 3 different builds of that and the tablet never boots. Just freezes on the animation and resets. So then i decided to try out cm11. It installed perfectly and booted fine but about 5 minutes into uaing it it freezed and reset. It has now been doing this on any rom i try. PAC, CM11, CM10.2, CMB. Unfortunatly i have been trying to fix this issues on vacataion with only my phone. I even upgraded my twrp version and tries switching to cwm. Still no luck. Btw i am doing a clean wipe everytime. Anybody have any similar issues?

My guess: You are not on the required bootloader.
Thank you. How would you suggest checking weather i am on the right one? And what would the proper bootloader for this device be? Is this somthing i will be able to flash in recovery or will i need adb?

You find that information in the OP of the rom you want to install. For CM 10 I believe it has to be 10.6.1.14.x. For CM 11 I think you also need a modified recovery.
Boot into the bootloader and read the tiny script. That will tell you what you have installed.
Hey guys,
I'm in dire need of help. I have a Galaxy S6 (G920F) and I rooted it today with PingPongRoot. Afterwards, I started getting the message that .com.(something here).gapps has crashed. I kept getting it every few seconds, rendering my phone pretty much useless, as I couldn't do anything.
It took me around 10 minutes to get to the factory reset option. Afterwards, it rebooted and got to the setup, and OMG! the message keeps popping up non stop right now! I don't even have enough time to select anything..
So please, I am in dire need of help. If you need any more info, please tell me what info you need! :'(
Just flash stock ROM via Odin. Below are stock ROMs from Sammobile. Just choose your country.

I had same problem and I fixed mine with flashing a official rom. I explained how I fixed this, in my post:

Thanks to the both of you! Everything is up and running again!
I've had the same issue on my stock device after I installed unofficiall google search app for the new drawer in google now launcher. Only factory reset helped me, since then I would never install unofficial apks on my phone again...
