[Q]liquid smooth rom - Samsung Galaxy S II Plus

My HTC decided to be an ass so I sent it in for repair and it seems that it will come back in 3 weeks or so. Now I'm using this phone as backup but it is slow on 4.2.2. I also tried ressurection remix but it is also giving me occasional lag. I just want something that is liquid smooth even if it hogs on battery. Please don't close this thread calling it best ROM thread because I only want opinions of people whore using Roms for everyday use...just wanting a smooth UI

[Q] Galaxy S2 BEST ICS ROM?

Hi everyone,
with all the recently new ROMS like batista ics foxhound and resurrection pro v1.1, along with cyanomogen and other resurrection remix roms, for you, which one is the best so far for you guys?
I appreciate your thoughts
Since a month im testing resurrection remix rom and i must admit its pretty much bug-free. the only issue i've noticed was music player sometimes to crash if u "click" a lot in it. aside that, nothing more, its fast, stable, nice looking, smooth with good performance. battery is great. if u use it just for texting and calling it can last 3 days!
i tried more than 4 roms before using hydrogenics
i must admit it works great
try default kernel for few days and switch to neak also try syiah
use which ever kernel u like

What is the best (or just your favorite) ROM for the Verizon Galaxy SIII?

I've been jumping back and forth between ParanoidAndroid and CarbonROM, and I'm actually about to give Cyanogenmod a try for the first time.
Carbon has a ton of great customization but I have gotten a few crazy screen flicker issues and reboots on the nightlies. Notta's version of PA is damn near perfect but I have an issue when streaming audio via bluetooth. I get a nasty static sound with high notes, if this could be fixed my decision would be made, and hopefully Ayysir will be fixing this in his builds.
Anyway, which ROM have you guys had the best luck with?

Your thread will likely be closed as someone already have this kind of thread. It is pretty active it is the "which ROM are you running" thread.
Depends
If you prefer Touchwiz - NOTHING beats CleanRom. The latest (seven), is the best, smoothest, most consistent rom I've ever run.
If you prefer AOSP - I'm gonna have to go with SlimRom. Really fantastic, smooth, and widely configurable.

I'm gonna have to respectively disagree. While clean ROM is a fantastic ROM, bonestock ROM is just as stable and offers sooo many options. Plus is extremely stable. I suggest the OP give both a look. Since the op is use to aosp, bonestock offers more customization like aosp but with TW. MOAR ROM is a great rom too.

There is a saying "to each his own" that applies to roms as not everyone has the same experience or taste in a rom. All the op is asking is what rom that you have the most luck with. He is not asking for suggestions.
As soon as one of these posts get taken down, another one pops up. Gee wiz.

There is no best rom just find something that meets your standards and run with it. This thread is going to be closed.

4.4 roms

what are some good 4.4 roms that are stable? Running slim kat now which is a great rom came from liquid another good one just wanted to get some opinions? I'm a flashaholic so its time for a new rom wont go back to 4.3 after running 4.4 ,Ive heard about data issues and soft bricks with paranoid ,debating on pac-man, carbon or anything recomended
I just went from LiquidSmooth 3.0 Official to AICP. So far I like it. Still settling down so I can't speak to battery life but it is really smooth. Google Camera works, no issues with Bluetooth. Same prob with Google Hangouts that I had with LS but stock messaging works fine. Still sorting out signal strength for 4G and wifi. Lots of customization between AOKP and AICP.
Correction...Google Hangouts does work on AICP and my phone.

Try the ROMs that catch your interest.
"Best" is subjective and is personal preference, which in turn leads to arguing, fanboys, and flaming.
This is why these threads are disallowed on XDA, and why this thread is now closed.
Thank you.

[Q] Best JBBL Rom for the XT 926

I have been using the Nexesque ROM for quite some time and it has turned out to be a daily driver. Off late it has been showing a lot of lag and the battery heats up quite fast. Maybe its because the phone is old.
Now that I see a lot of ROMS for KK and LP coming up, I want to know if there may be a suitable ROM out there that can replace Nexesque.
The problem with the ROM posts available is that they seem to be still posting bugs, so I am not sure if they match the superiority of the the nexesque rom.
Thanks in anticipation
CM 11 is pretty rock solid IMHO. Plenty of bells and whistles to use depending on what you're looking for. CM12 or any rom based on it is also petty good although there are still a few kinks, but nothing that I would consider major. I'm currently using blisspop, not bad at all and they brought some of the dark theming back. Quite a few releases on it as the devs develop it.
Thanks.. Although I am looking at having an awesome battery backup without to much of a lag ... The nexus rom jumps up the battery to last for 2 days straight with moderate use...

Most stable non-Touchwiz ROM?

Hey guys,
Just wondering what you guys have had luck with as far as stability goes with non-Touchwiz based ROMs. I recently had to stop using the official CyanogenMod nightlys due to problems with GPU performance and wireless instability.
a buddy of mine uses Carbon and has for quite some time. He loves it. I stick woth TW MOAR because i like playing with a custom PRL and switching back and forth on them from time to time
