Hey, i happens the same. If you know how to fix it please tell me!
Well you can just back up your personal data, and re-flash the rom. That will fix it.

I recently installed the Walkman app but I didnt like what it was doing to the virtualizer stereo wide effect on the Player Pro app. I did a factory reset erasing everything in my Sony Xperia Tipo hoping that it would bring back the original system files for the virtualizer to work properly but it doesn't seem to work out that way. After the full factory reset I am still getting the weird reverb sound when adjusting the virtualizer stereo wide effect on Power Player Pro. Before I installed the Walkman app and all the system files it was working properly but not now.
I have tried mentioning it on this forum but I don't seem to be getting any replies. Please I am wanting the original files back so virtualizer on Power Player Pro can work properly again.
Will I need to reflash the ROM to get it working again? Please advise.

You have to replace the files with the original ones. Id you dont have a backup (make one next time) you have to reflash the rom.

do you have stock firmware? unrooted? locked bootloader?
give us more info
if you have stock with locked bootloader, use pc companion to restore your rom, you will lose everything unless u make a backup or use flashtool
if you have stock with unlocked bootloader, use flashtool or install a kernel + recovery and flash a custom rom like gimlo

I have stock firmware which is rooted.
I cannot seem to get into CWM recovery mode on my tipo. I pressed the volume + button all the time while plugging in the usb cable and a blue LED light come on but the blue light stays on and nothing happens. Please help.
Ok I managed to figure out how to get into CWM recovery and successfully flashed the gimlo ROM onto my Tipo:victory:
Now I've got Power Player Pro's virtualizer stereo wide function back working sweet
hello, i have changed some frameworks (also settings mod) after that some features didn't work properly (like can't change language it FC s...) also i if i reset factory i will get bootloop because of installed mods (like aeons small app mod)... yesterday i used pattern lock and when i set it immediately i got bootloop... i think because of other changed settings i think that if i restore my old backup (data) it will help and finally get my phone back... please tell me will it work? i don't want to completelly brick phone... im not advanced user... using Xperia Arc S Stock 4.0.4 ICS
Would there be any harm if I dirty flashed albinoman's 4.3.1 ROM over his 4.2.2 ROM? I don't wanna lose all the data but do an upgrade, or would it not work? I'm aware that dirty flashing does cause issues sometimes, but not always. Seems to work fine, so far.
Also, say android1-7 fixes current bugs in his 4.4.1 ROM and I want to switch - is there any way to transfer my data? Titanium Backup comes to mind, but not sure if that'd cause problems; JB -> KitKat.
Thanks in advance.
Please Backup before doing anything.
If u want tro try a dirty flash, u got to Wipe system and cache, then flash ROM... Maybe it will cause FC...
you will tell us .
Its better to try backing up ROM on recovery, then backing up datas with Titanium Backup, Wipe All partitions then Flash new ROm and u will install back your datas from titanium
I always do backups. I'm on specific app data if I wanted to go from JB to KK, would it still work via Titanium Backup? (some will know; if they are on 4.4.x ROM already)
Also, how do I change the dimensions of the drawer? It's 4x5 right now, and I'd want it preferably 4x4 instead, or even 3x4. I can't find it in the Drawer settings. (albino's 4.3.1 ROM).

Yes titanium backup will work in any Roms u have I use it all the time to flash back my apps back easily
And for the app drawer I haven't used albino ROM ,but think u need a custom launcher like KitKat launcher ,nova etc to get that option

Awww, snap. Quite a pity - I liked Sense ROM having two options for the app drawer. I'll get used to it then.
So Titanium works with any ROM, great. That solves it then! Thanks for the help.
hey,
today i wanted to change my fonts on my rooted nexus 5 with the font installer app,
but when it rebooted my soft keys were simply gone...
i am currently on the stock rom, but would this problem be fixed if i just flashed a new rom?
i could somewhat regain the soft keys by installing the soft key enabler, but i rather want the original keys back..
can someone tell me how to fix this?? ( i am running 4.4.3 on the nexus device)
thx in advance
stefan
Well,
I think, if you just reflash the system.img of the original stock image, it will re-enable your softkey wihout losing anything (well, of course, you'll loose root and xposed if you're using it.)

Check your build.prop.
If qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 is a line, change the 1 to 0. "Softkey enablers" just change the value for you.

I recommend you wipe before flashing 4.4.2 back if you're on 4.4.3, it will probably cause errors and all that stuff and it's always better to clean flash.
Go into your recovery and wipe, then boot into bootloader and run flash-all.bat in the factory image. Don't forget to backup/copy anything important. :silly:
Hi! I have a Samsung S2 Plus (i9105p) with 4.2.2 Stock Rom. I've flashed this package throught CWM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...heme-wizzedtheme-v2-0-special-i9105p-t2854609) then, after boot i see that my Settings app disappeared! I don't know how bring them back! And it's annoying if i need to wipe my data. Can someone give me the apks i need to restore my settings app? And why them disappeared? I really need it! I have 4.2.2 Jelly Bean!

Sometimes packages like that have been known to remove the Settings app. The only way to fix it (except factory resetting) is to flash a custom ROM, like CyanogenMod.
Wich CM can i install? Because the lastntime i've tryed it (7-8 months ago) it was really bad and buggy. Honestly i prefer the Samsung ROM.
However, can i install a new settings app? Or flash it. I need the secsettings.apk from the 4.2.2 JB Rom for i9105p. Or the only way is wipe data/factory reset? (It will wipe data and i'm scared that i can't have my settings back this way).

Well, if I had that device, you can be sure that I'd provide you with that settings app.
However, since I don't have it, I don't know of any way to obtain that app.
By any chance did you make any sort of backup any time before this issue occurred? If so, please post it for me, as I might be able to extract the app out of that.
