Your TV might support only PTP.
Plug in your phone.
Settings->Storage->Menu->USB Computer Connection
Enable MTP for all files or PTP for images and videos.
If MTP doesn't work your TV doesn't support MTP.

In (nearly) every every case the kernel is adapted to a specific version of Android. The Android version itself has to be suitable for your phone. Kernel and ro can also have some other requirements as a specific firmware/bootlader installed.
In every case you can root your mobile with this app --> ERoot even its posted under Sony's.
The more popular a phone is the higher is the chance that some people develop custom Roms/Kernels for it. In case you got some phone not that spreaded, it can be hard to get custom developments for it. Actual i cant't find any custom rom/kernel for the A24.
BUT
no need to worry as the root acces itself really brings a lot of improvements. One of my favourites is the XPosed framework which will grant you acces to about 300 different "modules" for changing/improving settings on every Android rom and also grant you a great skinability. Most features you find in custom roms are implented in "XPosed modules" too. Once you're rooted you also can install Google Play and the even better F-Droid store.

Yah same for me. Is there something I'm suppose to be doing in order to see that wps option. When I go into show more options it doesn't the wps pin option.

So this is not fake ?
Wps pin is correct for all routers in my area even my router. But kitkat needs you to type a code into the router you trying to connect to from the phone
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
It is just working on old devices with ICS, GB since Samsung has removed the option of connecting to wifi via pin code

yes of course you can! you dont have to root your device to use mass storage! although i suggest you another app called es explorer works like a charm! u can transfer n organise your files in the best way possible
And how can I connect the tablet on mass storage? Because all I can choose is mtp or something...

Connect your phone to a computer (The device will be connected in MTP mode as default)
Reboot your phone while connected to the computer
Wait until you see the USB icon on your Notification Bar
You will now have an option to select Mass Storage now
I tried that too, still not working, another solution?

this is a kernel related issue,
your friends didn't port the kernel well,
flash the stock kernel,
this might solve your problem
But were all using the same kernel for our ports Rom. Weve never used any other. But thanks for a reply.
