Yah same for me. Is there something I'm suppose to be doing in order to see that wps option. When I go into show more options it doesn't the wps pin option.

Wps pin is correct for all routers in my area even my router. But kitkat needs you to type a code into the router you trying to connect to from the phone

It is just working on old devices with ICS, GB since Samsung has removed the option of connecting to wifi via pin code

you can download 'wifi connection manager' from play store.So you'll be see wps option in the app.

You can't be serious, internet cones from the network not the phones software/hardware. You would need some serious hacking into your carriers network to do stuff like that if its even possible.

That link is an app that makes your phone a hotspot that lets other devices use the data from your cell phone. It still consumes data from your package

are you asking some kind of opera mini custom server hack like what we used to in the old days of nokia s40 .jar files? Its out there, but I doubt they still use it, given theres wifi.

Found an AOSP browser working on our rooted xperia z1 on Playstore.
All credits goes to the developer. ???
Im only sharing. ???
Install directly on Playstore, then use downloaded installer. Will notify you that phone is not supported, but just go on. Check on CM browser below, then install
Reboot, done.

Incognito mode is present, but it crashes when you open one.
The aosp browser I use has working incognito.

Installed the apk and everything now working. It updated tge app.

Z Launcher By Nokia

As you may of seen on Android Police that Nokia have made an android Launcher.
And in all fairness its really quite nice.
It states that it only works on non rooted deviced but you can use root cloak xposed module to use it.
My device is the N9005 and is rooted and i was able to install and use with no problems.

I am unable to get it work, downloaded version 2.. Installed apk... installed root cloak... rebooted.. I get the following error when I hit the "Start" on the launcher...

You need to go into the root cloak app and add it.

How? I did the RootClock thing then it ask for internet Connection and then gets Msg Activation Failed

Then I Have to try again.. Didn't it asked for Internet Connection After u pressed START

The launcher dont work in rooted phones, but u can istall the xposed module root cloack, and there it is, works like a charm

OMG, this is amazing Zlauncher its that good i nearly launched my z1 out of the window lol, it took forever to get it on my device , and there is a modded apk in youtube link, no need for root cloke, but not that impressed with it maybe someone will love it, sorry for bad reviwe , but give it ago, kind regards joe,

Wifi hotspot not working!

Hello guys, ive just entered XDA hoping for larger chance to fix my problem with the wifi hotspot or wifi tethering. Whenever i click or enable my portable hotspot it just fades and doesnt seem to work at all. I really really need help. Replies will be much appreciated.
My device is ICS 4.0.4 and Im using MIUI v5 ported by our colleagues here at our place.

this is a kernel related issue,
your friends didn't port the kernel well,
flash the stock kernel,
this might solve your problem
But were all using the same kernel for our ports Rom. Weve never used any other. But thanks for a reply.
