I bought some of these the other day and while they look slightly different to the original battery that came with the Nexus One they do look good build quality, apparently made in the same factory as the originals. Better than another Chinese import I got (which stopped working).
Still breaking them in at the moment but they seem to work well.
i actually bought two and i dont use the other one, i can sell it to you if your interested.
I have moved on from SGR to Nexus 4 but still my SGR is in use and is with my wife. I am running Stock Indian ICS (rooted).
Lately my wife is complaining that the battery is dying very fast. Even though it is charged overnight, it just dies in couple of hours. I have noticed that the battery has also bulged and based on some googling it is a definite case of battery going kaput. Now I am in need of a new battery and was wondering if it is fine to order it from EBay India where the cost of the batteries varies from INR 375 to 1K or should I try any other local shop. Need advice from you friends.

Batteries are life for Mobile. But if we choose Bad one then It may be harmful too. So, I would suggest to go for Branded & Original product then pirated or looking same kinda.

I definitely want to buy an original battery as I dont want to take any kind of risk as I have seen many cases in news of exploding batteries.
Would it be a good idea to visit the Samsung Service Center for the new battery? Do they sell it?
I got mine recently at ssc..costs around 600 rs

Its more then enough. They charge too much.
Thanks all. Visited the nearest SSC but they didn't have it in stock. Then went to a Samsung SmartPhone Cafe in Phoenix Market City and got it for Rs.550 with 6 months warrenty. At first they said that they dont have any battery for GSR and I had to convince them that it is the same as I9100. After matching the model number they gave it to me.......

Anybody ever shop on this website? I seen no reviews but an old eBay page that is currently closed and a good BBB record.
Should I buy it? Any advice
I'm curious too...

okay..so I should not buy this, correct?
If the business is BBB credited I'm pretty sure this isn't a scam site. but I don't know because they do have a few negative reviews on there.
I think I just may take the dive..maybe after I'll do a review who knows.
Don't waste your money over something that you're not really sure off. Just my 2 cents

um, BBB is not useful
they basically accept money from businesses, and businesses put their label on their website. BBB doesn't do much other than that
Any site that still thinks there is a difference between the 32GB and 16GB battery is misinformed and I would not buy anything from them. That was a false rumor going around about the Nexus 5 having 2 battery sizes.
The website is also outdated/amateurish looking and not the type of place I would input any credentials into.
There's a post within a "3000mAh" thread somewhere in the general section that mentions how to get a 3000mAh battery into the Nexus 5 - I'm pretty sure it involved a LG G2 battery and de-soldering the N5's battery pcb and resoldering it to the G2 battery.

Why not just buy battery case? Its a case with battery built in. Internal battery plus the battery case will go way over 4500mah.
I saw one for about $50 on amazon.
only con is that adds little thickness but I think its better approach over risk breaking trying open up the phone.

Thanks for the replies. Exactly why I posted here
My battery life hasn't been that great lately. My phone is almost 2 years old, so I figured I might replace the battery. However, I am having difficulty finding a replacement.
Anyone know of any online stores that still sell OEM batteries for this phone? It's out of stock on the official Verizon site.

I'd suggest directly from Samsung. I wouldn't bother with Amazon or eBay as they are knock offs on both sites. Best bet stay with an oem directly from Samsung.

That's kind of the issue, Samsung does not sell it.
Verizon does, but it's out of stock, and who knows when it will be in stock.

Yup, this is the S3 forum.
Website, I found it here, but it's sold out:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/accessories/standard-battery-for-samsung-galaxy-s-iii/
Only place I could find a 100% OEM battery and not a cheap knockoff.

Battery
I have 2 Zero Lemon batterys that I bought off amazon. Its amazing I have 3+ hours of life.
The battery on my Nexus 4 no longer holds a charge very well. Neither LG or Google directly sell replacement batteries from what I gather. Does anyone know a reputable source to purchase an OEM replacement battery? I'm considering this seller on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-BL-T5-BL..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item2a386ff701
but you just never really know what's legitimate these days. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Also,
Does anyone know where I can find an OEM Nexus 4 USB cable? I know any micro usb would suffice but I happen to like the aesthetic design of that cable.

LG service centers do provide battery replacements for a cost. I got mine replaced a couple of months back for around $22.
i just bought a replacement battery a couple of weeks ago. got it yesterday and it works fine, but be careful with ribbon cable it snaps easily
paid $19 on ebay for it
I got a legit battery from this guy for my brother's nexus 4. After a battery cycle so far no issues. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-LG-...ptimus-G-Google-Nexus-4-2100mAh-/141174118723

One question, why did u guys replace battery? Burned? didn't keep charge as long? I'm thinking in replacing to have more battery life. I've had my phone for a year and a half and wonder if it will make enough difference to get one

Battery "life" of a lithium ion is around 500 cycles. If you've charged your phone daily, you've hit that 500 cycle mark. At this point, your battery has probably lost up to 20% of its capacity.
I usually go on ebay and i look for the one that was purchased the most

Dude, why would you buy a screen from eBay for 90 euros and don't even know 100% if it's original, when for 80 euros you can buy it directly from LG. I bought one a month ago and it's amazing, plus you have 1 year warranty.

They have an online store for selling spare parts for their phones. Let me find the link and I'll send it to you.

I don't think it's Europe only. On the right side there is a picture that says "Worldwide shipping..." which should mean that they ship spare parts anywhere in the world. If you want to order something maybe try and contact them first if they can ship to your country.

I don't have LG center in my country and buying from LG store online with shipping was more expensive.
