I dont know if this is the good section but...
I need to unreeot my galaxy S3 neo (1 sim card version)
I used this method to root it: androidxda.com/root-samsung-galaxy-s3-neo-gt-i9301i
It works great and simple, but now i want to unroot it.
I entered superSU that got installed on my phone after rooting, go to settings and clicked full unroot. I restarted my phone, however, root was gone, checked it with root checker from play store BUT when i try to update the device it said something like "the device has been modified....no updates available"
Than i turned off my S3 neo and hold volume down+home+power and d than volume up on yelow triangle screen and it said this:
Odin mode
Product name: GT-I9300I
Curent binary: custom
Curent status: custom
Qualcom secure boot: enable (csb)
Ap swrev: s1, t1, r1, a1, p1
Udc start
And below that is android robot logo and under him said:
Downloading...
do not turn off target!!
What, odin mode..i thought superSU did the job...how can i untoot my phone as it was when i bought it? 100% clean..oh and can i root it again with same method and recover backed up stock apps..i forgot?

Hi,
Full unroot doesn't mean that your device is back to official firmware again. Root again, download and install Xposed, download Wanam Xposed and activate it via Modules, reboot, find option and tick Fake System Status and reboot again.
Or simply reflash stock firmware using ODIN.

If you modified the system then unrooting will not help....
Download your firmware from Sammobile and flash it with Odin!

HI,
I'm from Slovenia so I'm sorry if there are mistakes in writting.
My friend just bought Samsung Galaxy Mega LTE GT-I9205 and the phone doesn't start because the phone was rooted or I don't know what they have been doing with it and when they were trying to install new android on it there was a problem or they disconected the phone to fast.
When he got the phone and he started it there was written(Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode recovery mode in Kies & try again.).
My friend doesn't know about this problems and he doesn't know how to root the phone or install ROM with Odin so he gave the phone to me that I fix it. And I tried to conect the phone to Kies as it says on the phone and I tried to recover the phone and program asked me for the recovery code which I don't have because the phone wasn't conected to my computer when this happened. So I contacted the previous user and he said that the phone wasn't conected to his computer either and he doesn't have the recovery code.
So then I downloaded all four firmwares for Slovenia from SAMMOBILE site and tried to install it with Odin. When I installed firmwares which are android 4.2.2 version the phone started and showed the SAMSUNG GALAXY MEGA logo and on the top written recovery booting and immediately showed the error on which was written:
Image size too large!! W:1080, H:1920(with red)
display image fail(with yellow)
SECURE FAIL: KERNEL(with red)
When I installed the latest firmware with andorid 4.4.2 the phone turns on and shows SAMSUNG GALAXY MEGA logo and on the top is written RECOVERY BOOTING with blue and it stays there.
I CAN'T GO INTO RECOVERY MODE(Volume UP + Home + Power)
When I go into download(Volume Down + Home + Power) there is written:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9205
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
BOOTLOADER RP SWREV: 2
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
SO WHAT TO DO? IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO FIX THIS PHONE? I know that there is no warranty anymore
Since Pokemon Go is so popular, I wanted to use the app on my Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 LTE SM-G7105. The problem is, the version is still on jelly bean 4.3. I have been trying to update my phone to at least KitKat. I know how to flash recovery on odin or update with roms, but it turns out...
1. I cannot update my phone because it requires signature verification.
2. I know I can fix this by flashing a stock recovery but when I try to flash cwm through odin and i did the power+vol up+home it could not get into recovery, instead it could not do a normal boot and was in odin mode
When I do power+vol up+home, it shows
Could not do normal boot.
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G7105
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
Warranty Bit: 1
RP SWREV: S2, T2, R2, A2, P2
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
Then the Android figure with Downloading... and Do not turn off target!!
How do I get rid of signature verification and make this odin mode go away? Someone please help me. I really want to play the game on my phone and my parents do not want buy a new phone for me :crying:
Also, I used King Root for my Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 to upgrade it to lollipop 5.0.1. Do you think that using King Root can help me update my phone? I do not know how to root with supersu and I know it is the best rooting process but I cannot do that because it still has signature verification enabled
I am also kind of a noob with these things, please do tell me what I did wrong and provide websites that I can use :good::good::good:
Im new to andriod, coming from IOS and my friend thought he could root my device and told me it was similar to jailbreak on IOS. After using odin to install twrp and flash SuperSU.zip onto my device, it will not go past the boot screen and has at the top 'Set Warranty Bit : kernel'. I need to get back andriod here is the situation:
No backups
Team win installed on device (If that helps)
Able to access data via computer and Odin can connect but not when it is in downloading mode
I have all my important stuff on a sd card so I was able to recover that
System/bin folder is empty
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 SM-T719Y
Have downloaded the Firmware
SuperSU root
screen says:
Boot-
Set warrant bit : kernal

ODIN MODE: (HIGH SPEED)

WARRANTY VOID: 0x1 (2)
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
RP SWREV: S1, T1, H1, R1, A2, P1
SECURE DOWNLOAD ENABLE!
download mode!!
I just need Android back, so data loss isn't a worry. How can i do this in simple terms - Im a noob. Please help, im soo screwed other wise.

Odin or Kies might be your only solutions.
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SHARE
So I rooted my phone a few months ago using SU, and i was trying to install rootcloak yesterday which required xposedinstaller. After installing it I tried to update it (v82 i think). After a few seconds my phone shut off and all i could see was the blue light. When I tried to open it it just showed me the Samsung galaxy s6 logo, now it only shows the Samsung one. The only menu that opens is the download custom os one. If i press down to restart it just shows me the samsung logo again. If i press up it shows "Downloading".

Can i do anything without a PC? I only have access to my library's PCs which don't allow me to install programs and my sister's Macbook Pro 2011. The Mac's charger is broken so i have to wait a few days for the new one to come so i can use it.
I am one of those long-time phone-upgrade holdouts because of feature deletion.
However yesterday I went to start waze and the phone crashed, and wouldn't get past the sprint logo.
In trying to recovery mode boot,
"Could not do normal boot.

I attempted to load Philz but that was also a failure; I'm wondering if it has to do with the poor solder connection between the emmc chip and the board?
Could it be a corrupt firmware issue?
I was able to download the G900PVPS3CQD1_G900PSPT3CQD1_SPR firmware, but I'm unsure how to use it in Odin to update the firmware without hosing some of the data that might be on the phone still. I don't want to completely wreck the files if it can be saved.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Do you think that if I either got the chip reballed/reflowed or a pressure pad put on it that it would be sufficient to get anything off of the phone before it's toast?
Did you read my link?
