[Q] looking for this orange polygon wallpaper please help! - General Questions and Answers

So I really love the icon pack with this orange polygon wallpaper but CANNOT find the wallpaper anywhere and its killing me. Please help!!

I can't post direct links, but search for "yellow polygon wallpaper" using Google Images. I saw a few similar ones right on the first page of results.

Yeah I tried looking everywhere. Google, Polygon apps, Zedge, wally, and even the icon packs he used but no luck! Its bugging me thanks appreciate the info tho

That's why I included the exact keywords I used to see similar images.
I can't post direct links, but I see it as 1st and 3rd images in the search results.

Yeah those are still not the one I'm looking for. If you look closely in the picture you can see darker polygons colored in too
Sent from my OnePlusOne using XDA Free mobile app

If you saw a picture on Internet, it does not mean it was copied from somewhere. It could've been created specifically for that purpose and does not exist anywhere else in the wild.
If I need slightly different coloring, I would just pick one of those and change the color to the one you need.

R800at Launcher and Default Wallpaper?

Can anyone who runs on R800at firmware upload the default launcher and wallpaper? As far as I know, R800at has a different launcher and wallpaper not found in the other builds.
The launcher has the carrier name at all times in the upper right corner of the home screen and the wallpaper is in a lighter shade of blue. I've attached a pic for reference. I forgot to back them up when I flashed my device to R800a firmware.
I will really appreciate it if someone could upload these two files.
I believe you are looking for this. But you don't get timescape, if thats what you are looking for Just the launcher.
Thanks. All I need is that light blue wallpaper from the pic I posted. Not the dark blue one that everyone has.

4.0.4 LRK Yellow Theme

Hi
Just thought I might share with anyone on a LRK rom a yellow theme I have. I made this for ClassicRom but should work fine on any LRK rom and possibly 4.0.4. There are some issues with LR6 with wrong text displayed but all good on LRK but haven't tested on previous 4.0.4 roms.
I used some images from this theme here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1618692&highlight=emily which was made for a charity cause so check it out.

Ok, thanks for the feedback, I don't use the clock so didn't know that was happening. Icon is easy to fix, but will have to have a look into what happened to the pngs in the framework for the clock. Hopefully I'll be able to sort it out today some time and get the fix up.
Thanks, I really liked the theme but had to back to a blue one as I needed the alarms but will be trying it again if you can fix it.

No shouldn't need to wipe. Two things I can think of is check your system space in a root explorer sometimes files wont flash if pretty much no space available. So just check system/app to see what's left. If have free space could of just been a bad flash or download.

[Q] Wallpaper you can scribble on

Is there an app or widget that let's you use the spend (or finger for that matter) to scribble on the desktop wallpaper?
That would be the ultimate post it note. Or an invisible Snote widget would do it, too. Kind of disappointed the Snote widget is just a mini library.
Whiteboard Pro.
Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk 2
Don't buy white board pro, I would like to do the same as the op but white board pro doesn't even have a widget, that was really poor advice especially as it is not a free app.
I am using sticky notes , which has a neat postit style widget, you can't draw on the widget directly but you can use the spen and the widget displays the hand written note exactly as you write it in the main app.
Give it a try, there's a free version

"... white board pro doesn't even have a widget, that was really poor advice especially as it is not a free app." - Really? Poor advice? OP asked for an app to write on desktop, I mentioned an app (with widgets) that does the job. What's poor is your reply without knowing what you are talking about. Have you really looked at it? The whole point of that app is the widgets. Whiteboard has multiple widgets, for every size and taste. You can write directly on desktop, it's one of the options. Try the free version if you don't want to pay for it.
This is from the description of free version:
"Write and draw notes on your home screen. Fully customizable home screen widget.
Looking to simply add a few notes to your home screen? Add Whiteboard! The ultimate home screen note taking application!".
I'm not related to the developer, have bought the pro version long time ago, have been used on phones and tablets very often.

Well based on your post I bought the app as I want the same functionality as the op, as far as I can see there are no widgets, I spent a good while looking for them too.
Perhaps there is some confusion with versions or similar sounding apps or somthing

This is first time I'm trying to add an image. I added a widget to screen, clicked on it, in settings under "Other" selected "Edit on home screen". You write on desktop, while within the widget.

In my post above I have a link to free version in market. It has 3 widget sizes (paid version has many more). if you're using Nova or any other launcher, widget size is not important, you can re-size easily.
I don't know where the confusion is coming from. I had purchased this many months ago, hadn't installed on my Note. Only today I installed, went to "add widget", added one to screen, wrote on desktop and then saved it as a note on desktop. See my screen shots in a post above.

I followed the directions - each time I've tried it - when I click on the widget it takes me to an app screen not the desktop, to enter info in a very small area. After entering info it takes me to the desktop, but I still cannot write or add text to the desktop widget screen. This not a true desktop you can scribble on.

You can see from my screenshots I was writing on desktop, on Note 10.1, using the s-pen. When I finish, it shows it in a small widget on the desktop (with white background in my example). if I click on that widget again, it takes me back to desktop where I can edit the note.
I don't get the "enter info in a very small area" part. Even when not writing on desktop, widget fills out the whole screen, I can write easily. Sorry, I don't know how to help.

You could try this:
1. add the smallest size widget, 1x1, to your desktop.
2. click on it, by default it opens white screen to type or to write. Go to \Settings\Other, select "Edit on home screen", save. It closes the widget.
3. now on your home screen click on your 1x1 widget again. Your whole desktop becomes your writing pad, type or write.
You can add more pages within the widget, when needed.
I can add screenshots to show what I mean.
There's Snap Pad Free on Samsung market. It's a scratchpad that can be called up by tapping your chosen side of the screen, and when open it's a translucent layer.

#2 "Settings, other, "Edit on home screen""doesn't exist in the free version. This explains why I've never understood the hype over the app. I did make it transparent, which is fine, but still could only edit from the app interface.
Thanks again.
After reading this thread I've tried both Snap Pad Free (SamsungApps) and Widget Notes - Whiteboard Pro (Google Play).
I think they are both interesting and worth's trying out.
Snap Pad Free is very basic but it has the SPen pressure sensitivity feature (but no palm rejection). That's very good for our GNote 10.1
Widget Notes doesn't have it (too bad!), but it's more advanced and allows keeping multiple notes (maybe in a dedicated home screen), each with its settings and the possibility to have multiple pages)
Thanks for the heads up

Sorry if its been asked before, Q about S note

My Dad just bought a 10.1 2014 for his work (he is a therapist so he is using it for client notes)
When he is done and tries to convert the handwriting to text it does this weird thing.
Ill post a pic when I get home
But basically it converts the text but shoves it all over to the left hand side. Its like it pushes it over past the edge of the note, of course you cant slide over because thats the edge of the page.
Any Ideas what the crap is going on? It does it every single time.
Can you post a picture? I have the note 3 and it doesn't do that in Snote. I do have a note 10.1 but its the older version so I don't think this will apply to this.

Yeah ill get on tonight and post a pic.
Heres a post I made about it on google+
https://plus.google.com/113406212691162715251/posts/ix4rPdXB7ms
I have no idea why it's doing that. Maybe the font size is too big?
Give this a try.
-After you convert things to text, go up to the tools and click on the T tool just to see if you're able to interact with it somehow.
-If yes, then click out to the white background then select the Rectangle selector and tap on the text and move it to the center.
-Tap on it again and it should show 4 options 'properties' 'cut' 'copy' 'delete'
-Click on properties and play around with it. It could be that the margins are weird or the text is too long for the screen.
Hopefully this helps a little bit. I don't know the issue well as I don't have the tablet, only the note 3. Tell me how it goes.

Ok wait, I was just able to replicate your problem! I recorded it. See if you're able to do the same. I'm uploading the video to youtube now. I'll post the link once it's uploaded.
Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3b2tRS1IZw&feature=youtu.be
I just did what I posted above sort of. Let me know if it worked for you.
If the post above doesnt work, you might wanna try asking in the note 10.1 2014 edition forum. You would most likely get an answer there than over here.
Just in case you arent aware that the 2014 edition has its own forum.
Ok So for anyone who may have this issue in the future
If you convert the text and it shoves it over to the side, you dont use the lasso to re highlight it
just tap it once with the pen and it will let you move it around.
I was trying to re circle it and thats what wasnt working. And once you tap out of it of course you lose the ability to edit it.
Thanks for the help folks !
Can a mood move this to the right forum?

text selection drag indicators behind keyboard

This issue is driving me insane and I can't figure out how to fix it ....
I am using Gboard right now because I can't stand Sammy's default keyboard .... Plus I like the integration of translate etc ...
Anyways the problem that I am having is with the drag indicators for the text selection being behind the keyboard at the very bottom ... this is also the issue when trying to select text for spelling correction.
I switched back to the Sammy keyboard to verify the same issue .... No joy ....
It makes selecting text extremely hard to deal with ....
See the attached screenshot .....
Any fix for this .... ?
Very strange. I just tested on mine because I love Gboard, and mine doesn't do that. On my screen, the little indicators float to the front layer and actually enlarge and shrink when I grab them. Do you have the latest version of Gboard?

Yes I am running the newest version of gboard so I don't think that is the issue I have also tried to disable gboard the behavior is the same using the default Samsung keyboard .....
The behavior is encountered using WhatsApp and the default text message client pre-installed with the default Samsung TouchWiz.
Also just tried typing a message with telegram and the results are the same.......
However while using the xda app for posting this message the issue does not seem to exist see the attached screenshot.
I just fixed the issue ......
As I suspected it was a screen overlay issue ...
The app causing the problem was navbar ....
Uninstalled the app and the problem went away.
That really sucks because I like the idea of being able to choose my own colors and all the extra features that was included with navbar....
I guess it's back to the default software button colors until navbar development can fix the issue ....
Good find thanks for the update.
