[Completed] Request advice - XDA Assist

Someone please help me, i can't update my SuperSU to remove root from my phone (Sony Xperia Z Ultra with android version 4.4.4). I want to upgrade my phone to Lolipop via sony official website but i can't update coz i've rooted before that ofricial update release. I've used king user to root. Please advise me .. with repest to all

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I've found this with someone with the same problem and a solution, http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z-ultra/help/failing-ota-update-unroot-108-t2801833. Since Android 5.x you have to be 100% stock system, recovery, and kernel for the OTA to work.

Rooting Xperia L 4.2.2

Hi community, I have flashed Android 4.2.2 Generic World FTF using Flashtool to my Xperia L C2105, now I want to root it, but I don't know, how to do it. I have found this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2307983 and there is reference to thread with 4.2.2 root, but I can't go on this webpage, there is some error.
Can somebody give me some tutorial how to root XL working on Android 4.2.2, or explain me?
I have also found Motochopper method, somebody told me that it is right way to root my phone, but I'm not sure because I have read somewhere that Motochopper works only on some Motorola devices.
Maybe I will sell my phone in 3-4 months so I'll need a warranty back, so there should be a way to unroot the phone.
Sorry for my english
Thanks for help, greetings.
The methods that exist to root 4.2.2 firmware on Xperia L are considered unsafe :-/ Therefore the page was removed by xda's mods
And the motochopper method you read about was meant for android 4.1
To unroot you can always restore your device to original firmware, using pc companion, Sony Update Service or flashtool
Ok, thanks. When you say, that root on 4.2.2 is unsafe, do you mean that I won't be able to flash soft back at all? But does some method to root 4.2.2 exists?

Unsafe means those software are suspected to be malicious, more info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46246819&postcount=1
Okay, thanks. Someone can close the thread, nvm, I'll wait till there will appear some safe and working way to root.
Thank you all.

You can try this method...root 4.2
Rooting using Kingoroot and vroot is risky.. It and IMEI number of your device to their server in China.. And we don't know what it does.. So be careful and don't use these 2 methods

[Completed] Need help Flashing and rooting xperia tablet z.

Hi i have read through all the guides by king vortex and followed them word for word without success. i have had my tablet rooted before but i kept on getting a request to update my software which was getting tiresome so i did. this removed my root when i did this (very annoying as had my tablet set up perfectly for what i wanted). when i tried to root it again however i for i couldnt do it with the build i had currently installed (10.5.A.0.292) so the guid asked me to use the flashtool to return it to 10.5.A.0.230 which is fine as I have some experience with flashing already. the only issue i'm finding is whenever i do flash it with this software it is bricking the tablet and i have to use emma to repair it which just reinstalls the most up to date software which puts me back at square one. do you have any advice to help me with this???
my tablet model is
xperia tablet Z LTE
SGP321
build number 10.5.A.0.230

[Completed] [Q] android update in rooted nexus 5

Can i install the OTA updates in my rooted nexus without doing unroot? I have android 5.1 ruining in my phone and yesterday I got the OTA update for 5.1.1..... Plz do help me and please do tell me the process if possible....
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. The ota will not work if you're rooted or have made any system changes. You have to be 100% stock. See this which is dedicated to ota on the nexus 5, http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/info-nexus-5-ota-help-desk-t2523217. Greetings and welcome to xda, I don't think its possible to install the update while rooted but to fully unroot you have have to flash the stock firmware again first. If you ask your question here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
The experts there will be better placed to assist you
Good Luck
