Can't select "wipe user date" in cynus t2 recovery menu
I am fairly new to modding but willing to try anything...
Problem:
Cynus T2 - forgotten security pattern. Log-in to google account doesn't work - I guess due to NO internet acces on phone - although I am using correct user data.
By pressing Vol+ and Vol- plus Power button I go to recovery menu. Select "wipe data/factory reset" by pushing left lower corner touchscreen button. With Vol - move to "Yes -- delete all user data"
...that is where I get stuck.
I cannot select that option.
I tried pushing the power button, the left lower corner touchscreen button, the home buttom the back button, both Vol buttons single and together...
I am stumped.
What to do now?
I tried rooting but can't get anything to work.
Either the "how to's" are too complicated, imprecise or I am too stupid to to it.
Is there a tutorial with EASY steps, ALL the download links or at least exact names for the files neede? Without Adware????
I am sooo frustrated...
Please HELP

[Completed] Soft keys dont work in recovery mode

Hi my device is micromax canvas 2 plus and the problem is i cant flash any rom coz the soft keys dont work in recovery mode. I want to replace my stock android version with a custom rom say cyanogen. What do i do?
Well you're going to have to flash another recovery in all likelihood, unless you are using clockwork mod recovery /philz in which case you can use the volume up and down to navigate and the power button to select.
The forum for your device is here . You will need to register if you want to ask a question for further support
Sir,
In recovery you must use hard buttons like Volume +/- - move up/down and Power - select.

You should read the [GUIDE/HOW-TO] Beginner's "Getting Started" Guide :: Root, Recovery, Roms etc by a.cid.
There are many intersting details, tips and tricks about your device.
Generally, to reboot into “recovery mode”, first shutdown your phone completely, then press and hold power + home button and wait for phone to switch on.
But on some firmware/ROM versions, not all recovery versions are supported.
So to give better help and advices, you need to provide more information.
Please register on xda and ask (with all needed details about your firmware/ROM and recovery versions) in the Galaxy Fit GT 5670 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

Not sure if this is the proper section for this but thought I would post this here as I'm sure it would highly assist people in development and other tasks. This is the button combinations you need to enter each mode.
ODIN/Download Mode
Make sure your device is completely off
Key Combos: Volume Down + Home
While holding both of them simultaneously press the Power button until you see a disclaimer on the screen
Then let go of all the buttons and press Volume Up to accept the disclaimer
Once the green robot is visible on the screen this indicates that handset is in now ODIN/Download mode
Recovery Mode
Make sure your device is completely off
Key Combos: Volume Up + Home
While holding both of them simultaneously press the Power button
As soon as the phone vibrates, let go of the Power button but keep holding Volume Up + Home
When you see the "Samsung Galaxy S III" logo (not just the word "Samsung"), right after that, the next screen you should see is your recovery
Don't let go of Volume Up + Home until you see your recovery

As long as the phone is NOT connected to a computer, that is you are not downloading anything, you can simply turn it off by holding the power button. Another option would be to pull the battery.
