Hi my device is micromax canvas 2 plus and the problem is i cant flash any rom coz the soft keys dont work in recovery mode. I want to replace my stock android version with a custom rom say cyanogen. What do i do?
Well you're going to have to flash another recovery in all likelihood, unless you are using clockwork mod recovery /philz in which case you can use the volume up and down to navigate and the power button to select.
The forum for your device is here . You will need to register if you want to ask a question for further support
Sir,
In recovery you must use hard buttons like Volume +/- - move up/down and Power - select.

Good luck

You should read the [GUIDE/HOW-TO] Beginner's "Getting Started" Guide :: Root, Recovery, Roms etc by a.cid.
There are many intersting details, tips and tricks about your device.
Generally, to reboot into “recovery mode”, first shutdown your phone completely, then press and hold power + home button and wait for phone to switch on.
But on some firmware/ROM versions, not all recovery versions are supported.
So to give better help and advices, you need to provide more information.
Please register on xda and ask (with all needed details about your firmware/ROM and recovery versions) in the Galaxy Fit GT 5670 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Good luck !

Hey guys my phone (moto g 2nd gen) volume down button has been in a constant state of being press im guessing its a hardware issue. Anyway me being the idiot I am didn't know this was the case so when I powered off my phone and tried to turn it back on went to the fast or hard boot menu. since it is constantly being pressed I cant even navigate the menu with the select feature (volume up) because the volume down key Is being pressed can I get some help with this or atleast some knowledge onto how to make the volume down key not respond? Or how to skip the fastboot or disable it? I would really appreciate it if you could help me out

My phone's home button broken .
I wanted to install stock rom after Archidroid v3. But i incorrectly shut down my phone after deleted wipe and caches. So now phone switched off and has broken home button. How can i enter recovery mode without home button? Normally (if it not switched off) i can enter recovery mode with 3rd partition app.
Please help me for this. I cant use my phone.
*I think only one solution is changed/new home button. But i am not sure it is broken because it didnt work after custom rom.
Thanks guys.

If your power button still works then boot into your phone, then you can connect your device to PC and use adb to boot to recovery by typing:
adb reboot recovery
then press enter and it should boot to recovery.
or you can install the terminal emulator and type:
su
then press enter(grant superuser permission when prompted)
reboot recovery
then press enter and you'll boot to recovery.
I'm not finding any threads to help with your exact issue. If the things I suggested above don't help then try posting your question in the forum linked below.

idk i never encounter this kind of situation.. after using rashr tool to recover my backup stock recovery, then my phone reboot itself , this is where it goes insane ..
whenever i try to power on , it vibrate and i see oppo logo for less than a sec.. then it repeat itself forever until i force power off it by holding power button for awhile (non removable battery)
the same goes when i try press power on+volume up/volume down.. i can't even access the recovery................... T_T urgent help needed .. i think fastboot maybe working , cause when i press volume up while sticking the usb to phone , then screen stay black , but from there , when i try to power on , i need to hold the power button for awhile ( like i force power off )then it goes insane again , so it probably like this . fastboot>power off>go insane
i tried to use sp flash tool , but i didn't find any scatter file on the stock rom i downloaded from official website.................. please help , sorry for bad english
