EDIT: Looks as though they have moved it back!
So I was browsing the xda forums today like normal and I noticed that the "post count" has been moved from the spot it always has been right below the thanks meter into the "More" section. No argument from me--if that's what the higher-ups at XDA want, that's fine by me, however I don't like it in that position. So I moved it.
You might be asking, "I want the post count back!! How did you do this magic??!"
Quite simple, really. I wrote up a script that will moved it back for Chrome users. Simply follow the instructions below:
Code:
1. Download the script [URL="http://devolutionapps.com/moveposts.user.js"]here[/URL] (562 bytes).
2. Go to [URL="chrome://extensions/"]chrome://extensions/[/URL] in your browser.
3. Click and drag the downloaded script into the extensions window and it will install automatically.
4. Navigate to XDA forums(or hit refresh) and voila! The post count moves back magically.
Hope this helps. :good:
UPDATE: Added second script for showing all available info from a user here.

Hey guys,
I rooted my T-Mobile G1 through the instructions on this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442480 and then I downloaded the latest build http://sapphire-port-dream.googlecode.com/files/5.0.2H-signed.zip and everything has gone fine.
After reboot I went through the setup phase and all the text is fine, it was cool because the soft keyboard came up in the example and I logged into my account.
Now, I have hit the home screen of my g-1 and the three icons I see are the Contacts, Calendar, and Mail but the text under them where the label should be is little boxes. I cant figure out how to make the symbol for them but just realize [] as them.
No matter what I do, through the menu or anything all the text is in that box [] does anyone know how to fix this? Or what is wrong? Everything else seems to be working fine except that.

You guys are fast, from the time it took me to log in, there were all these responses.
Why do people so openly refuse to read fully, before asking questions with answers to them? This particular answer has pictures, just in case you were too lazy to read.

all posts will be made at the site to prevent clutter, and to stop pissing off the xda-dev mods (who i'm sure are having a field day moderating this thread) ;P
you can get Build information and other stuff from http://haykuro.theiphoneproject.org/?page_id=2
I will continue discussing here with everyone else, this is just to help people keep up to date.

I just wanted to share some custom made icons for the XDA community to use.
Note: I do take requests. Please provide 1-3 suggestions per request.

Great job, these icons look cool. Not trying to be picky, but you spelled "dialer" wrong (dailer).
ouch thanks.
I'm still new to customizing and such, how do I put these icons on my phone?

If your running a rooted phone with a custom ROM, you should be able to hold down the icon until a little edit icon appears, and you can select its icon from there. Be sure to place your icons folder on the root of your SD card.
Yes my phone is rooted and I see the Edit option at the bottom when I click and hold an icon but the gear symbol next to the word Edit is greyed out and won't allow me to drag the icon to it.

I was going to post this in the official form after reading about 60ish pages of the thread but it wouldn't let me since i have "noob" status. I have NFC on and i left my phone on the Google wallet screen for about 10ish minutes but it just force closes. The developer said that its included http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377087&highlight=ice+cream+sandwhich
but next to it it says one day. Dose this mean it dosent work right now?
thanks !
it won't work because we need some secure elements that we don't have. So no it will not work.there are more than enough thread about GWallet if you researched it you would have found your answer but no worries because you will find help on xda. just make sure to do research next time

For what it's worth, I've attempted to do research on it as well and hadn't had much luck at all.
I noticed while it's trying to initialize, tap the w in the top left corner and it opens the app.
Yes i got into app rite now. I can see payment cards. Reward cards and other stuff.

Hello all,
I've been searching back and forth on the forums and i couldn't find a complete navigation app (in my vision at least).
I am a Samsung Galaxy S2 user and i am looking for an alternate solution to Google Maps with the following features:
MUST HAVE
- offline map and navigation
- no process running while app is closed - my major problem
- up to date maps (or close)
- Eastern Europe maps (i am from Romania)
- compatibility with Contacts' address
GOOD TO HAVE
- low battery consumption while using it
- nice, idiot friendly interface :silly:
- some customizing
- chance to try before buy
I don't mind if it connects to the internet from time to time to check on updates & stuff... just not to be forced to connect to the internet to run it.
Do yourself a favour mate and stop writing everything in bold as it just gets annoying.
For the app, have a look at NavFree. I haven't used it on Android as I love Google Maps and couldn't care less about it connecting to the Internet all the time, but I use NavFree on my work-iPhone4 and it is near enough faultless.
Dude... if the post was too long to read... well... i am sorry for you.
Stop posting just to get a bigger post number cause you won't get a prize...
The bold was put especially so u can read better what i need. I need a nav app with THOSE FEATURES

I posted to answer your question - have you looked at NavFree yet? I couldn't care less about my post count - I gained a lot from XDA when I first rooted my phone, so I now try to help others out on here. Some people (look in the mirror) have been here for over a year, have 10 posts to their name and have only ever asked questions, never attempted to help another user

Regardless, putting the whole post in bold doesn't make it easier to read at all. Bold is supposed to highlight important words or phrases - using it for the entire post makes it more difficult to read.

I've checked the app but wasn't good (for me at least)... had only 10 maps that could be downloaded, my country wasn't there.
I found Route 66 Maps & Navigation. Till now it looks ok but i am still testing it. I am happy i can use the contacts' address directly.

Awesome stuff, I love thus app.
Is there anyway to scale these to fit the Google Now launcher?
Thanks for such an awesome app.
Really great app and well executed! One feature that would be nice to have would be Muzei support.

When I try to save a wallpaper, I get the little box at the bottom that says it saved, but when I go into Gallery and Photos I can't find it. Is that a bug or am I looking in the wrong place?
Edit: It's not in /sdcard either

Sounds like whatever ROM you're using is not scanning your sdcard, so download a media scan app and you should see it pop up under a Papuh folder in your gallery
Thanx
Now I don't have to waste time finding Wallpapers and can study Data Structures
Love It :good::good::good::good::good::good::good:
Works great on my Oneplus with Lollipop! Been waiting for this....................

Update the thread OP, going to keep this close as I STILL don't have time to answer questions or keep up with the politics that go on here. If there's any questions or concerns, my PM is wide open and I check it once a day. Thanks!
