I just wanted to share some custom made icons for the XDA community to use.
Note: I do take requests. Please provide 1-3 suggestions per request.
Screen shots of what they look like on Inspire's screen.

Great job, these icons look cool. Not trying to be picky, but you spelled "dialer" wrong (dailer).
ouch thanks.
I'm still new to customizing and such, how do I put these icons on my phone?

If your running a rooted phone with a custom ROM, you should be able to hold down the icon until a little edit icon appears, and you can select its icon from there. Be sure to place your icons folder on the root of your SD card.
Yes my phone is rooted and I see the Edit option at the bottom when I click and hold an icon but the gear symbol next to the word Edit is greyed out and won't allow me to drag the icon to it.

Does anyone know where to get the extended power control widget I've seen in a few people's screen shot?
It has seven toggles instead of 5 I think. I saw one in the market but it's not the same as the one I'm looking for.
bump........
U mean switch pro ?

Nice, thanks. Do you know if there are any transparent or cyan colored versions out there?
EDIT: Actually the one I want is on post 2 of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=692609
... ideally with cyan colored dots.
It already comes with 3 versions, semi-transparent/completely transparente/original. U can always theme it ur self Unzip, change images and resign. Or if u got windows u can use this apktool script i made today...makes modifying apk's easier.
Here
Its a batch file so windows only.
http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.extendedcontrols
Here is link for extended controls
Thanks guys. I think I like the no background version of Switch Pro. I have to learn how to modify these things so I can get cyan dots instead of green dots.
Its a png inside the apk. Use the tool to extract it. Then inside the out folder find the png, it'll b a green dot, modify it then select options 2,3...

i signed up for the appbrain website and chose extended controls. when i go to my phones app and i sync extended controls shows up but when i press "install" it takes me to the market and cant find the app. what am i doing wrong? thanks for any help
It means the application isn't available in your country's market.
Use MarketAccess to make the market believe you're from another country, eg the US
Extended Control is a protected app and won't show up on Froyo, well for some people running Froyo I suppose. You'll need to do this [MOD] Fix Protected Apps not Showing on FroYo
I had the same problem with the same app today. I did the push and was able to buy the app soon after.
this for making launcherpro/plus look a little more like sense. this just themes the launcher. download the attatchment below. then extract the 3 photos out of the zip and place them on the root of your sdcard. then go into the launcherpro settings and click on appearance settings/dock background and then navigate to the pictures you put onto the sdcard and click on 1 of the 2 sense launcher icons. then go back home/launcherpro. long hold on each of the launcher icons at the bottom and click on "change shortcut" then click on "blank". this will get rid of all the icons at the bottom to where clicking at the bottom wont do anything. then long hold on the left/middle/right launcher icons and click "change shortcut" then you can add whatever you want to them. then after choosing the app you want, if it doesnt bring up the choose icon menu then long hold on the icon again and choose "custom icon" and then navigate to the "blank icon" photo you extracted out of the zip and it should become an invisible icon. its really alot easier than i may be making it sound. if you need any help just ask and i'll be more than happy to assist
and to really get the sense look, flash mrinehart93's Sense/Rosie THEME for AOSP 2.2/CyanogenMOD 6.0.0 now with themed Settings menu

Nice! Good find!!
Just stumbled across this in a Google search. Been trying to find a blank icon that worked for a while. This did. Nice work. Thanks.
I have had launcher pro for a very long time now and I don't want to change launchers but I am getting sick if its look. I have customized the dock recentley to my liking but what about the icons? I want to be able to change the icons of things that are placed in one of my 7 home screens but I can't seem to find a way to do that. Please help!
Here is what my.dock looks like now. I really want to change the icons :

Put whatever icons you want to have as your dock icons onto your phone, long press the icon you want to change, select Custom Icon, navigate to the icon you want and select it.
Custom icon.

i dont think you understand, i want to customize the icons on my screens, not on my dock, this didnt really help but thanks for your effort! anyone else?
You'll have to re-add all icons, but instead of dragging the shortcut from the app drawer to the screen hit menu>add>shortcut>applications. Pick the app, then it gives you the option to change the icon.

did you ever figure out how to do this i would like to do this on an old android phone i use as a music player

Got to be honest, I thought this was wrong, but hey, you can!
Btw, maybe try 'Folder Organizer' and then you drop short cuts to folders on your screen instead of app shortcuts.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS AS A RESULT OF USING THE FILES POSTED HERE!
Edit: thread looks horrible on xda phone app, will fix this when I have some time.
I want to thank ENDLESS2232, for working the 4g icon set I requested.
I wanted to, create a icon set myself, so I could use until I had the one he created(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1643176), and since I have the att ones I thought it would be nice to share them.
I pulled these out of the HTC One X, and converted them to blue to match my black and blue theme on tweaked 2.0.
I dont know how to create a flash-able file so I copied the systemui.apk from my phone, and that is what is posted here. Therefore only use it if you are currently on black and blue theme from tweaked 2.0. (REMEMBER I HAVE NO IDEA IF IT IS SAFE TO DO THIS)
What I did was replace the file on my phone using "Root Explorer"
That is what it looks like:

View attachment SystemUI.apk
Here is the icon set if someone wants to make a flashable file, or use ninjamorph:
View attachment 4g_icon.zip
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is it on my phone:
I have never done anything like this before, so I have no Idea if there is a better placement for these files on systemui.apk .... Any comments, are appreciated!
Thanks, I just copy and posted the systemui rebooted and now have a custom 4g symbol. The blue is a little fall, but still looks great.

Do you have a 3g icon like this. Also it could stand to be a lighter blue. It looks ok unless my phone is set to minimum brightness though. Thanks for this.
I went back to the original because this is too dark and the only way I can see it is to have my phone set to full brightness.
Guys I really need this. I am ex Samsung user so all samsung phones have this. I used to it. There are some apps on google play but they are not good at all. Can anyone do this? For dual sim support. If yes, I can share systemUI.apk. Thanks!
Open the notifications shade and click the right most button.
Sent from my XT1028 using Tapatalk
I dont think you understood what I want. That option is not so useful.
I know what you mean. AOSP has two separate tabs for notifications and quick toggles. Samsung uses an overlay called TouchWiz that, among other things, integrates these two tabs into one.

He mean this one form cyanogenmod.
