I am running on android revolution hd 17.0 ( custom rom ) on my s3 . AND battery life is too bad just 5-6 hours is the timing of my battery !!
So anyone can resolve my issue ?? Plz help me

Something wrong. S3 should easily last a day. Most likely your phone can't get to deep sleep, because of some app. You can try to find which app went bezerk with BetterBatteryStats app

It really depends on what you're actually doing with the phone in those 5-6 hours. It's reasonable to even hit 0% depending on what you're doing.
Look at your battery stats in the Settings Menu and get something like BetterBatteryStats. Find out why your battery is draining. If it's something you don't want - fix it.
When i first got my butterfly it was perfect..... But after using it for some months i noticed that the battery gets heated upon charging or using my internet..... And it began to drain fast.... My phone us not rooted.... Runs on android 4.3 nd sense 5.5

That was the cause of battery drain on my Xperia L, some months ago, and when i disabled fast dormancy, the drain stopped.
You will need to have your phone rooted and buxybox installed.
Yep same here,phone app drain,since new firmware (15.3.A.1.17)

Check which App is drawing battery uaing better battery statistics and look for any app causing wake issues! Disable them and things would improve !

Have you tried a factory reset? Maybe there's some app in background draining your battery.
With lollipop you get around 20% less battery life, but still you can make up to 6 hours of screen on time on wifi and 4.30 on 3G

I agree to you that battery drains quickly.. But since we have root now greenfiying helps..
I'll post screenshots tmrw.
Before greenifying I had a drain of 2% per hour during night I would wake up with 20% less battery.. Yes I sleep 10 hrs
I guess @mannulko you have been posting everywhere asking for stats we have a similar post abt under screentime in other section it has what you need to i even posted result of that test you should i guess ur really playing safe before buying the phone but you are asking for lot of things and noone took intrest in this post because op has to share his screencaps too but you posted it in a different way anywas i hope you get what you are looking for
