[Completed] Rooting options for Chinese "H701" RK3126 tablet? - XDA Assist

Hello all,
I'm fairly new to the tablet scene. I have a Kindle HD6 but wanted something running plain Android, not KindleOS. Enter the tablet in the subject line. $50 for a 1024x600 IPS display with 8gb storage, 512mb ram, it was just too much to pass up. I have been messing with it, and overall its fair to good (especially for the price!). But, I am having a heck of a time finding information on rooting it. This is the exact tablet:
everbuying.com / product743323.html
I'd like to be able to move apps to the sd storage, setup a web server it (accessible via hot spot) and things like that. I have a decent Linux background, but tablets are mostly new to me. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd sure appreciate it. Googling for things like "rk3126 root" and "h701 root" are getting me nowhere fast. Thank you so much!

Thank you for using XDA Assist. I think you got what you paid for. There's really nothing on XDA about your device. Try asking your question here,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2259645
Good luck!

[Completed] Applying Custom ROM on a "No-name" budget Tablet.

I really really hope this is the right place to be asking this, I don't want to flood a place i,ve only just discovered, but I've tried to figure this out on my own and have had little luck, So some insight would be very much appreciated.
So The situation is: I have a budget tablet that came pre-installed with adware and (i think) malware. I've heard of people fixing these sort of things by "Rooting" the tablet and removing the issue. Well my tablet came Pre-rooted, so after looking around some more, i found out about Customs ROMs. Further investigation revealed that most customs ROMS don't support my kind of Tablet, Which is a Tagital (That's where the no-name comes in) T10 10.1 inch tablet. My purchase of this tablet was mostly my fault, as i bought on impulse and didn't look at the reviews at all, which blatantly expose the issues with the tablet.
Now, what I'd like to know is: Is there a way for me to apply a custom ROM even though my tablet is unsupported? I'd like to avoid returning this tablet, so i'd like to get the best out of the situation.

[Completed] Help with converting to Otterx without a computer

Hey, guise! Would you look at that, my first post here is one asking for assistance.
Alright, I have a Kindle Fire first generation, and I'm thinking about upgrading it to OtterX. I've already been there, done that, and beaten the bush up ten times over with playing with that Kindle. It's currently running CyanogenMod 11, Otter version, with self modified partitions which I needed to change up again anyways to offer more System space and maybe more Data space, something I wasn't worried about when I repartitioned it last time.
Anyhow, I was wondering if there was any way to power through the conversion process without a computer, as I'm lucky if I ever get on the computer.
Thank you in advance, and I'm sorry for asking such a noob question.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but fortunately there is an XDA area dedicated to the Amazon Kindle Fire at http://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire which would be a good starting place. I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you.
Good luck!
Thanks! I was a little lost here, I started out on the mobile app (which was hard to navigate) and then realized that I should have posted this another place.

[Completed] Seandroid Enforcing issue

Okay so I hope I'm posting in a suitable area (I was debating to post here or in the Questions and Answers section). I don't usually use forums much but I try to be as respectful as I can as not to upset anyone or waste anybody's time. I'll put the important info in bold in case you don't want to read all the details. Getting to the point, I've looked several times on google and youtube but I never get a clear answer to this and I've watched dozens of youtube videos about the basics of rooting and what you should and are supposed to and not supposed to do however I still can't get an answer. I have a Samsung Galaxy Go Prime at least that's what all of my manuals say but after searching about rooting I've come to find that it's either closer related or the same as a more popular Samsung Galaxy Go phone. I've rooted it using the King Root app twice now because every time I turn the phone off it does the "seandroid enforcing" boot loop thing and both times I've restored the stock ROM, as I've heard it called, using Odin and used King Root to root it again. Now maybe I'm just an idiot but I don't think it should be doing that, or am I wrong, or am I doing something wrong?. I used to use an Iphone and I know that jailbreaking could be tethered and untethered, however I'm not sure if it is the same with android and rooting (or for that matter exactly what rooting does) as I have just recently switched. If anyone could find a youtube video explaining all of this too me that would be really helpful as all the ones I have come across while trying to find a solution are either really outdated or sharing knowledge about a particular type of phone. I will admit that I don't know very much about rooting because all sources I've tried to learn from either didn't explain anything or did not explain it well enough. The original intent for rooting my phone was to make use of my SD card, considering that the internal storage is only 8gb and the phone outright refuses to use my 32gb microSD for anything. I manually moved all of my files to my SD using the stock "My files" app on the phone and it didn't clear up much space. After rooting it I tried to use an app called "Link2SD" which unfortunately only moves part of an app to my SD and not the entire app, so if anyone knows a better solution to this problem as well that would be a great help. Thanks for any and all information and assistance, I really appreciate you and your time. :good:

[Completed] Help on galaxy 10 update?

Sorry about my bad typing skills learning disabilities!
Anyway I have a galaxy 10 notebook, and it's stuck with version 4.2! I'm new to tablets, but used to be pc and network tec.
Everything i am buying won't run because there app won't run on version 4.2, led bluetooth app, excersize watch app, etc.
I have been looking for a way to force the tablet to update, and reading as much as I can find. I know that the reason is
Memory, cpu, etc being to low and slow, but I can't afford a new tablet right now. I paid to much when I got this one its
Annoying but since the first pc they play these games and scams so you have to buy new and throw your old year old
Stuff out lol. Please could i bother you all and let me know if there is anyway to salvage this. Also I know from trashing
This tab and had to send it in, that the power button i don't remember how, but it gets you to the core or whatever
Promt.

Hi everyone. Looking for an older phone, but there are just so many it's hard to know what would be a good value.
Would like to get a quad core with a good amount of ram, that can be rooted and loaded with a nougat rom.
My budget is around 60-80 USD.
I was looking at the Nexus 4 but that is GSM only I found. If anyone knows what I should be looking for that would be great. Thank you for your time.
