Hi there,
I am quite new to Android (on OPO) however I think there is something wrong, I've made a backup of my calls/sms/contacts using ultimate backup lite, I have the files on my computer now named : contacts_export.xml / calllogs_export.xml etc
With my fresh new rom I have installed Ultimate Backup lite again but it doesn't see those files as Backups and won't propose to restore them and I am stuck with an empty phone.
If anyone has any idea of how I could restore them as they are in xml I'd be gratefull.
Thanks

But, for a better answers please post your question in the general forum dedicated here:

I'm on Android 5.0.2, rooted through Clockworkmod. I have Titanium Backup synced to my Dropbox and a Nandroid image.
I deleted the default download manager (stupidly on my Titanium Backup as well) to free up space, necessary despite having 100's of megs to spare - i think this will fix that.
I've done a factory reset, but no luck. All my apps are wiped, including Titanium Backup and Nandroid (which i don't know how to restore to anyway).
Download Manager isn't visible in APKmirror's bundle of google APK's. Is it packaged with something else?
Will i be able to run the APK when i do find it?

How to properly backup my android device?
Since I just got stuck with a broken nightly on cyanogenmod I wanted to ask for a solid way to backup the system, apps and all settings of my device (which is a HTC one S ville).
I thought about backing up my cyanogenmod system with TWRP and everything else with Titanium backup.
What do you guys think about it?
Data is secondary since I use dropbox, firefox sync and so on for my data which means, my data is stored.
thanks for your help

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
Since you forgot to mention which device you have, we can't point you towards any specific support area, but in general the best way to make a full complete backup is from a custom recovery such as TWRP. Titanium Backup is indeed a dependable way of backing system and user apps with their data. If you need more information, you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where other members will be able to reply and assist you.
Good luck!

I have added the relevant information: HTC One S (ville)
The full complete backup from TWRP does not include Apps does it? Furthermore how could it backup if more than half of the internal storage is in use?

Hello again.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist, but there is an XDA area dedicated to the HTC One S at http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-s and specifically a Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-s/help. A full nandroid backup from TWRP includes all the partitions you select, including all system and user apps not stored on an SD card or other external location. The backups can reside in most any location you choose that TWRP can reach, including external SD card, OTG drives, etc. For more details, ask in your device's support area.
Once again, good luck!

Hey all,
I recently moved over my Note 4 from 4.4.4 to a custom 5.1.1 ROM today. During the process I made sure to backup everything in both TWRP and Reware's My Backup Pro. Unfortunately since the move, I have been unable to resurrect a save game from Tiki Taka Soccer.
After getting the new ROM installed, I restored the Tiki Taka Soccer APK and Data through My Backup Pro, however, when loading the game it doesn't show my save game. With this in mind I can only assume the save game was stored in a location out of My Backup Pro's reach (despite being rooted on 4.4.4).
Knowing this, is there any way I can locate the save file from my TWRP backup at all? I've ploughed hours into the game and am desperate to restore what I had!
Any help will be greatly appreciated,
Adam
I read the rules and didn't see anything about bumping threads. So I hope it's okay replying to this - still looking for help

I never used My Backup Pro but I know that you can extract apk/data from a nandroid backup with Titanium Backup Pro.
