I got the At&t gs6 about a week ago and have noticed this. Have to use vibrate/silent when at work. Have the vibration maxed but still miss almost everything if the phone is in my pocket. Not sure what to do because otherwise i really like it.

Hello there!
I got a problem with my galaxy s, during vibration I get strange resonating sound.
I disassembled the phone to take a look on vibration motor,
I thought it's because the cover, but even it's removed resonating still remains.
Have anybody got similar problem?
Thx for answers.

No, but I see you have Semaphore kernel. You could try to change vibration strength: maybe new motor velocity doesn't enter in resonance.

Hi there! i have the same problem as you, the noise comes to the little usb cover that is upside the phone, touch it a little bit and you see
Sorry for my bad english
Hello!
I've been experiencing the same problem you describe. I haven't fixed it mechanically but I have installed a CM10 ROM (it can be any rom/kernel which allows you to choose vibration intensity) and I have lowered my vibration intensity from 100%, which was way too strong for me, down to 50%. Now the annoying sound's gone!
I've seen people having same problems and as far as I remember there's even a video tutorial on YouTube how to fix it mechanically.

Its a small click/hiss static sound that last about a second or 2. Is anyone having this issue? I havnt wet my phone yet so i dont think its water on the speakers. I feel like it only happens on medium-high volume.
*EDIT* I guess its happenening on silent too and its pretty frequent.
Yes, I got that on my LG G2 as well.
Having crackle/static sound periodically when on calls. Just had device exchanged and still happening?

Hi Everyone!
I'm mostly a lurker around here so sorry to barge in with a question, but I didn't see any threads on it.
I just received my S6 a few days ago (T-mobile variant). Got the latest update, factory reset it. Lately I've been having some issues with the haptic feedback and vibration when typing or receiving notifications. The haptic feedback when typing will suddenly be really unnoticeable or completely gone. I checked my settings in both keyboard settings and the Vibration settings under notifications and made sure I didn't accidentally lower the intensity. When I adjust the sliders, I can tell that the vibration is considerably less stronger than before.
It keeps fixing itself and then going back to not having any vibrations.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm wondering if I should exchange my phone for another. It's still within the 14 day window. I'm worried I'll get a worse one since my screen is perfect, the persistent flash is almost nonexistent and the buttons have very little wiggle.
Thank you
No one else has this issue? I guess I'll make a stop by T-Mobile later this week.

The T-Mobile attendant thought I was nuts LOL. But I could definitely feel the difference. I am hoping it's a software issue since they might not let me exchange the phone despite it being under the 14 days. Have you experienced it again?
Hello,
Got my missus an S7 couple weeks back. I have noticed when we are on call with each other if she has the phone turned on loudspeaker I can barely hear her on my phone. Its so bad, can barely hear most calls so jittery.
Didn't expect this from the S7. Any one else noticed this or could check at some point. thanks.

Yes holy cow, me and my girlfriend got the S7 and have the same problem, loudspeaker is practically unuseable, crackling or cutting out and even when it is clear on a rare occasion the other party cant hear us due to cutting out, 4to5 bars on service and never dunked and since its both of our phones its definitly a phone issue, scouring every forum i can find for a solution. All i keep getting though is the stupid 10 common problems with s7 pages. Im so close to returning this pos. If i dont find a solution in the next week im returning and going back to using my nexus.

You can try to install a sound mod, but if it doesn't work then you are just one of the few unlucky who got a defected unit.
No problem here.
My speaker is too loud.
Problem here too
My problem happens when during conversation I turn my Speaker mode, the other side have trouble hearing me as my voice get "cut" - and on normal mode all is good.. any solution?
Hey guys
So I got my Note 10+ (SM-N975W), upgraded from the S8+ (SM-G955W). I'm seeing some issues with vibration parity between the two phones. I'm not a fan of change in general, so I'm hoping I'm just not seeing the settings.
When using the side rocker to go between silent/vibrate/ring, going to vibrate on the S8+ gave a strong full second vibration. On the Note 10+ it's a pretty weak 2-3 pulses.
When receiving a message on Facebook messenger on the S8+, it's always been a strong double half second pulse (think heart beat vibration almost). On the Note 10+ it's a quick and weak vibration. I barely ever notice when I get messages now because it's so weak and quick.
I have both my phones side by side, I've gone into the vibration settings (settings > sounds and vibration) and matched everything up. For whatever reason I can't get it to the same vibrations as my S8+.
Is this common when going from one phone to another that the vibrations wont match? I'd understand from one brand to another but I"m going from the S8+ to the Note 10+, both Samsung.
Hoping someone can help me out.
Thanks.
Did you ever find a fix? I've been searching for the same answer as well.

Nope....Ireally dislike how it's different... But it is what it is.
