[Completed] Bluetooth Handsfree multipoint to singlepoint bridge/router/gateway? - XDA Assist

Hi all,
I've been searching for a device that can connect multiple phones to my car's single point Bluetooth connection. I want to use the car's speakers and microphone, and it must activate whether I'm using the radio, CD or Aux-in, their or must connect via the built in Bluetooth connection.
Dies anyone know of a device that can act as a go between so that I can connect more than one phone? Of there is no such device, does anyone know of it might be possible to use an Android phone/tablet or Raspberry Pi or something to achieve this?
I've searched everywhere without any luck, perhaps someone could point me in the right direction?

Duplicate.

[Q] Connect bluetooth automatically

Hi
First, I have searched for this, but lots of questions, few answers.
I have a Creative D100 bluetooth speaker set and I want to be able to use my Desire S as a clock radio alarm. That all seems OK, except I can't automate the bluetooth connection. I turn on bluetooth on both devices, it pairs, but I have to go into the phone menu to actually connect. That's a bummer.
What am I doing wrong? Or do I need an app from the market for this?

[Q] Android-to-Android Bluetooth Profiles

Hi everyone,
I am an owner of the GSIII I747M and the ASUS Transformer, both running ICS. I recently had this idea (fantasy?) where I mount the Transformer in my car, hook it up to the car speakers and basically use it as my in-car infotainment system instead of the headunit that's in there. Nothing wrong with my in-car headunit (except the fact that I can't get bluetooth to work with my GSIII), but the tablet will give me tons more features. When I enter the car, I want the tablet to automatically tether to my phone via wi-fi and via bluetooth. Wi-fi is for internet access and it works just fine. The bluetooth is for the hands-free profile, so that when I receive a call, the music/navigation/whatever gets interrupted and I can take the call. I also want to be able to dial from the tablet.
When I connect the two devices via bluetooth, I don't have a hands-free profile; indeed I have no useful profiles at all. My question is simple: is there an app for that? Any suggestions? Has anyone done this? Thanks!
TabletTalk will let you answer/make calls on your tablet so long as it's pair to your phone and you're on a bt headset. It also handle your phone's SMS.
AutoTether can automatically tether your tablet to your phone hotspot.
Thanks, but that's not quite what I was like for. I won't be texting and driving, even on a tablet. I'm looking to use my tablet as a BT headset. I can pipe my output to the car's speakers and the tablet has a mic, so I can use it to talk on the phone while driving. Is there an app that can do that?
That would be awesome!
Let me know if you figure it out
I'm looking to do the same thing... Maybe it's time to learn how to code for Android. I've done some interfacing with BT at the driver level before but it was back before BT even officially came out, so there was not a Handsfree Profile ;-)
I couldn't find an app or anything that does this, so I think I'm SOL until someone makes an app with this capability.

Connect Android to ext USB mic and speakers for phone calls

I have a Blue Snowball mic and JBL Pebble speakers connected to my PC (actually Macbook Air running Win 7) via a USB hub. I use this combination for Skype calls. I also have an Xperia Z4 and would love to be able to use the mic/speaker combo with that as well, for phone calls. Is there any way at all to make this work?

If you want to use something externally for calling, your options are Bluetooth or devices that connect to your headphone jack. USB on android is for charging and data transfer. I don't think audio works over USB on android.
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS FOR EVERYONE TO SHARE
For posterity, in case anyone else needs this information. I found a solution slightly different from what I first wanted but which may be even better. Details below. But first a word on the original solution I was attempting. Android does not support this. Nevertheless, some Bluetooth stacks on Windows implement this, somehow fooling Android into believing that the connection is to a bluetooth headset, not to a PC. The stack that was mentioned here and there is the one from Widcomm. I tried installing this on my PC but failed.
And here is the solution I settled on eventually. Instead of messing around in Windows, I bought a bluetooth hands-free device designed to be used in cars. Only that I also use it on my desk. And even in the kitchen when I'm busy there. The model I bought is the Jabra Freeway but there are others. Works like a charm. Why it's better than what I wanted: because I can use it everywhere, including in my car where I also listen to podcasts and YouTube talks on the thing. And also because it allows me to conference parties on Skype (on my existing PC setup) with parties that call me on my phone, the traditional way.
I've combined this with a software called Just Remote Phone to control my phone from Windows. Perfect! (www.justremotephone.com)

Use Windows PC as handsfree/speakerphone for calls with Android phone

I am referring to attached screenshot which is from a tutorial on Youtube, at https://youtu.be/q2_Q_m7hGxs (at 02:54)
In the tutorial instructions are given for making calls with a mobile phone (presumably Android since the model shown is an HTC EVO) through a PC's microphone and speakers. So in other words, instead of using the phone's own speaker and mic, or a connected headset, all audio goes through the PC.
Note the option "Headset and speakers" in the screenshot.
I have tried to replicate this with my Windows 7 Pro and Xperia Z4 to no avail. No such option is available.
Does anyone here know what the missing part is? Does this functionality depend on the Bluetooth stack installed on the PC? If yes, does anyone know any stack that offers this functionality? If it isn't the bluetooth stack, then what is it?
Thanks.
