[Q]SM-N915S Downgrade from 5.0.1 to 4.4.4 is possible? - Note Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As the title says, I have the SK telecom variant because it was a gift from a friend, I've upgraded to lollipop but since I can't root it I want to downgrade back to 4.4.4 kitkat, can I do it just simply downloading kitat firmware from sammobile using odin as I did it with lollipop? thanks.

@patensas, although I do not know how current this firmware version is, I placed the link of your thread into the firmware thread in order to be stripped from the red warning sign. Is that ok with you?
Sure why not? The thread is named [SHARING] for a reason
And it`s latest from todays OTA

To flash OTA you need the stock rom with stock recovery.
What's the difference between OTA and Firmware?

alright so for flashing OTA you must be relocked or locked / not rooted / complete stock with recovery and all. and yeah you can install OTA with the stock recovery provided it is for your MODEL ID AND CID.

You can flash b 326 as I told you in the past post.

Do as I recommend you:
1-flash b326
2-flash b511
Its easy to do mate.. don't fear...decide to do or not to do
There is installation instruction in every package you want to flash... first read it then start to flash...if your first version was tl10, you should download the related b 326 and b511 and flash them...

First OTA update of 2016. for DAV-701L

Today Huawei release the first update for eu model DAV-701L. Nothing special, just system and communication signal improvements and google security patches.
The change is visible in custom version-D002.
Yeah nice to see a fist update for DAV-701L. Now wait for Marshmallow 6.0
Changelog see picture
installing this update, the phone is locked . Do you know where I can find the original firmware ? I tried to look everywhere but can not find .
I had to restore the Asian , but I would put this :
DAV - 701LV100R001C100B002
thanks to those who can help me
Just a short question, I want to buy a DAV-701L european model. I read is shipped with android 5.0.1 version. It is upgradable to 5.1.1 via OTA now? Thanks for reply!
