I share the results of my mod
I decompile google play store 3.8.17 and recompile
I modified the background color to black and the text color to blue
all thanks to ibanez7 for icon & trick

Use a root explorer and copy the file to system apps and reboot thats all (for GB rename). Its really easy!

Trying now. Was using a dark themed market but I like the blue added in this one. I'll test and report back. Thanks for the work...

What happens when the play store does its auto update? Will the colors revert, stay as these, or will it not be able to update at all?

After an update it wiil look as the store looks normaly and if you wanna again the modded one you must first search for the newest modded version(if there is one)

Had to revert back. For some reason it made games load forever, or not load at all...

it's VERY important.. (because i did the same mistake) to name it excacly as the original Play store and replace it ...

[MOD] Make the navibar transparent[MOD] [Added C&T rom]

Well lot of people well looking forward towards the transparent navibar , so i made it by patching the files myself ! This is tested and works 100%!
Things you need:
1.Rooted phone
2.Deodexed phone

How to do it
Step 1: Copy the systemui.apk to the "/system" , then change the permissions to "rw-rw-rw" and then copy to "/system/app"
Step 2: Copy the "android.policy" to '/system/framework/" and change permissions to "rw-rw-rw"
Step 3: Restart your phone and wait for sometime , it may take long time to load
Step 4: Enjoy
If you want smaller navibar , you can use my previous mod :

If you are using clean and tweaked rom then you can download the package named it
For clean and tweaked there is no need to copy the androidpolicy.jar , only copy systemUI

If you make a transparent statusbar that would be completly insane. Would love to see it <3
Are you sure is that link ? The navbar stay same black. Icon of battery has changed.

it takes at first time only , because android upgrades its components

I did everything but then the status bar changed but the nav bar are still black Help please?

I redownloaded the files and placed them again, and now both status bar and navbar are gone.. How can I fix this?

Did you make a copy of original files ? If not then flash a FTF without ticked wipe data.

Why this doesn't work for me? I replaced both files and set permissions as requested in first post.I'm on 2.17(c2105),i deodexed it,have root...The only thing that chaged is the battery icon and i think some graphics in notification area(when you pull down the bar)..but navigationbar is still black.Also I rebooted couple of times,waited more than 30 minutes,but no luck.I used root explorer to move the files.Will put back original files and try again...who knows
edit:did it again and it's not working.it's the same as above.i checked the permissions,everything.please give me an advice to make this work.thanks!

He puted wrong files. I have made it my self but not sure if it's working (haven't tested yet). If you won't to test it PM me.

What you need:
Basic knowledge on decompiling and recompiling
Yourself
Steps:
1.) Download the 2 attachments below
2.) Decompile your framework.jar
3.) Go to smali/com/android/internal/app
4.) extract smali.zip from attachment then copy the 2 smalis then paste it on smali/com/android/internal/app on your framework.jar
5.) recompile
6.) install the CustomPlatlogo.apk
7.) Flash your recompiled framework.jar
8.) Jump High
NOTE: you can merge the customplatlogo.apk to your settings.apk, find the guide on how to put an extra activity on settings. (Im too lazy you know xD)
PS: tested on gingerbread version, not sure if will work on other android versions.
Update: CustomPlatlogo.apk reuploaded, no more black screen.

maybe it is not compatible on other android versions? it works fine to me. try to merge it on your settings, decompile it, get the smalis, and also the resources. Compare the ids then recompile. There's a guide out there on how to add activity in settings.

1- remove Settings.odex from /system/app
2- you need superuser mod enabled if u don't want to deodex then use serajr xposed module

superuser mod for xperia L 4.2.2?
but in that thread says if you wannaflash superuser mod you must be has "deodexed rom"?
is it okay if i push in my odex rom?

You would get a bootloop if yu flash superuser mod on odex.
Btw you can try taking a nandroid backup..

Using this setting loses the screen mirroring option. what happened?
