I was stock ROM, S-OFF and rooted...Clicked yes to install OTA when prompted..Phone reset and then that came up and its doing nada...
Am I screwed? What should I do?
Can I do a battery pull? Am I bricked?
I pray someone helps me and doesn't flame. I know there are some good people in here still.
I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

You are not bricked you should be able to do a battery pull and boot up normally if that doesnt work since you are rooted get a tmobile 2.3.3 ruu and runn that..

I believe your mistake was doing the OTA WHILE being rooted. Good news is, is that most people here tried the same as you and all are fine now.

Doing battery pull now. Will update If any more problems.

It's not root that kills the process, it's the custom recovery.
I assume you have CWM Recovery?
You need the stock recovery to make the OTA work, hence you have to use the RUU to get it back. Instructions are here:

After that, you can re-gain root by reading here:

just flash the one that birgetime prepared for us. running it right now. get same as ota.

I did...I'm all set now.
This is why we are the best online community. I appreciate it everyone...I flashed BirgerTime's Stock/Rooted ROM and its booting now.
Is there a way to change the thread to closed or change the title to solved??

Just change to mods please close and when they do a clean sweep your thread will be closed.

Click edit on your original post and than click Advanced and change your title to Mods Please Close

Hi frends! I today instal oficial RUU ICS for my desire S. ITs very slow and have bug and lag. I very hate ICS. I before use GB 2.3.5 with htc sense 3.0 and he work perfect, no bugs no lags. How to back GB 2.3.5? Or which rom to instal, rom must be stable, quickly very, no bugs, no lags. Help me please. I very nervous...

That's the other thing that is really starting to bug me with the majority of the newcomers round here

[Q] HELP with ParanoidAndroid 3+!

unlocked bootloader + rooted.
Hi. Just recently flashed ParanoidAndroid 3+ on my phone. But I am having some issues with it. The biggest issue was It seems I can't access to HYBRID SETTINGS. When I tried to apply some settings, it says reboot, I reboot, after reboot, nothing changes, nothing happened. I wanted to change the size/resolution because its too small but its not working. I am having a hard time hitting the options due to small fonts/resolution. 2nd issue was I can't send SMS because it says service not available.. What's wrong with my phone?:s Did I do something wrong upon installation with ParanoidAndroid?

it is not what i expect to look like. As you can see only the PA colors has a description.
see?its too small.
As you can see, the size setting is set to 0. which is too small. when i try to move the button to right to change size, it won't move :/
the system says, cant send SMS due to unavailable service..
I really hope someone would help me because Iwould really like to use ParanoidAndroid for my device :crying:

Rom thread means, the thread from where you downloaded the ROM.

Oh I see.. Yes I downloaded it from that thread and followed the instructions from the thread.. Thanks again for the info :good: Now, I reposted it in there..

99% battery down to 0%

i was playing a game on my xbox n suddenly my xt1032 switched off. when i turned it back on it was 0% it wasnt charging when i had it in my pocket. is this something to worry about ? P.S i know there is a thread similar to this but i couldnt find anyone with a problem like me

Known issue, requires a patch from Motorola. No release date. If you aren't happy, post on the official forum thread.

Yeah this bug really sucks, hit me today. Had about 84% battery, had phone sleep about 30min, tried to wake but was off, switched on and 1%. Was not happy, out and about, extremely inconvenient.
Tempted to go back to jellybean till they release a fix, does jellybean also have this problem ?

4.4.3 doesn't include the patch for this; so it won't make any difference.

hope they release a fix soon, this happened to me twice now and at both times caused inconvenience because I was out and needed the phone.

Hi guys i have note 4 and I'm using DN5 V 0.5 ROM and i also have xposed framework downloaded in my device. .. im using OGYouTube xposed version with the xposed module when i first donwloaded it everything was fine but now when im trying to download video it stucks in the download window (loading "decrypting video links" )... i tried many times and wait for some minutes but nothing happened i still cannot donwload pls whats the problem im getting bored ?? anyone have the same problem and can belp me with it???
