i was playing a game on my xbox n suddenly my xt1032 switched off. when i turned it back on it was 0% it wasnt charging when i had it in my pocket. is this something to worry about ? P.S i know there is a thread similar to this but i couldnt find anyone with a problem like me

Yeah this bug really sucks, hit me today. Had about 84% battery, had phone sleep about 30min, tried to wake but was off, switched on and 1%. Was not happy, out and about, extremely inconvenient.
Tempted to go back to jellybean till they release a fix, does jellybean also have this problem ?

4.4.3 doesn't include the patch for this; so it won't make any difference.

hope they release a fix soon, this happened to me twice now and at both times caused inconvenience because I was out and needed the phone.

I was stock ROM, S-OFF and rooted...Clicked yes to install OTA when prompted..Phone reset and then that came up and its doing nada...
Am I screwed? What should I do?
Can I do a battery pull? Am I bricked?
I pray someone helps me and doesn't flame. I know there are some good people in here still.

You are not bricked you should be able to do a battery pull and boot up normally if that doesnt work since you are rooted get a tmobile 2.3.3 ruu and runn that..
I believe your mistake was doing the OTA WHILE being rooted. Good news is, is that most people here tried the same as you and all are fine now.

It's not root that kills the process, it's the custom recovery.
I assume you have CWM Recovery?
You need the stock recovery to make the OTA work, hence you have to use the RUU to get it back. Instructions are here:

I did...I'm all set now.
This is why we are the best online community. I appreciate it everyone...I flashed BirgerTime's Stock/Rooted ROM and its booting now.
Is there a way to change the thread to closed or change the title to solved??
Just change to mods please close and when they do a clean sweep your thread will be closed.

No, it is not the end The development for ICS on our device started early and there is videos showing O3D running ICS. The latest news we got is that everything is working except cameram, and the developer won't release it until he fixes it.

Yes I know that Ricardo started to develop ICS for P920 few day's after Google released the ICS Source Code,what I meant to say is that I'm hoping that this is start of CM9 nightly's for the masses

have the same issue a bit lower on my screen(broken digitizer) and it can be fixed only with a new display

Having the same issue here, as described above , but it only happened like 2 weeks ago tops , like when i updated to latest Kitkat (slimKat stable 3 back then )...
Is this definitely a hardware issue or some broken code?
Been reinstalling some kitkat here, but the problem persists,...
I thought the problem was the firmware because of some post i spotted pointing at slimkat or something...
Did any of you get this problem AFTER installing slimkat or even latest TWRP (2.7.0.0) ? (i updated both kind of the same time)
I had that problem on 4.1/2/3 roms. Disappeared on kitkat, fyi.

My phone was bricked because of a design flaw somewhere in the exynos chip. Samsung wants me to pay $200 for board replacement.
I'm running CM 7/17/2014 CM nightly.
I did a factory reset from the last stable release. On flashing into a nightly my storage has disappeared. I've tried flashing 3 different nightlies.

Not sure. I haven't got too deep into flashing on this phone, as there's not a heck of a lot to flash. Typically no, you would need to be stock odex and stock recovery to take an ota

me too , i have this update 2 days ago , only changes i noticed :
* my hand free stopped working with my htc a9 and now its back again
*have new app called ""HTC VIP" , but its not working in my country
@k2buckley yeah, what a shame :/ i guess i'll have to wait and see what's new with this ota. it was a pain in the arse to get all things done yet i have some issues.

Have a look in Post TWRP Recovery #2
chapter 8,9 and 10.
NB: Download and save the ota in your sd card (you'll find it in /data/data/com.htc.updater). You could share it for XDA members...

Only thing I've noticed is we have an option for the fingerprint scanner to wake the screen and use it as a home button.
it was already there. i think it's just some improvements and bug fixes.
