[Q] how to root u8220...

pls...help me to root my phone....

Hello my friend.
1. Google this: "Download SDK" ~ and then download it :silly:
2. Extract the zip and go at SDK/adt-bundle-windows-x86-20130729/sdk/platform-tools and copy adb & fastboot
3. Paste these file at new folder ay tour desktop.
4. Download your device usb drivers to recognize the pc your phone. (If you can't find pm me. )
5. When you aldready install the drivers open your phone go to settings and open USB DEBUGGING.
6. Then power off your phone, download ClockworkMod (Google it or pm me. )
7. Boot into the bootloader by powering off the device and power back on holding down Volume Down, the End Call & the Power buttons.
8. Connect your phone with usb. (PC)
9. then open a cmd and type

ex: fastboot flash recovery name_of_clockworkmode.img
10. Now should now be installed.
11. ROOTED

There`re quite plenty ways for rooting ur device, but i think this thread should be moved to android forum, isn`t it? no offense though for u may find more answers there

Hello my friend Here is the drivers.

[GUIDE] Repair bootloop wrong recovery flash Huawei Honor 3X G750-u10

this tutorial, is for repairing the huawei g750-u10 in case you flashed the wrong recovery and now you're stuck in a bootloop.
First of all you will need (it's all in the link to download, make shure you have a sdcard on your phone before starting):
-Adb install setup
-Adb toolkit
-vcom drivers

note:the recovery.img provided on the rar file only works for the U10, the method might work for other models but with a diferent recovery file.
-Installation of the phone mediatek drivers:
-Start with installing th vcom drivers i provided on the rar file, type HDWWIZ on the windows search tab:
Install the hardware manually>Ports(com&lpt)>Have a disk>select the file wich corresponds to you windows>mediatekpreloader usb vcom port> restart your computer. (if this method doesn't work for you try to search for vcom driver installation tutorials)
-Installing adb
-double click on the adb-setup.exe file provided and install it including drivers.
-the adb tool kit doesn't need installation just run the Adb toolkit Gui
on adb toolkit, type the command fastboot continue as shown in the picture

Remove the battery from your mobile phone, wait 5s plug it in again. Connect the usb to the computer and pluh it to your phone and at the same time push the power button till it turns on but keep your finger in the VOLUME DOWN all the time, it may reboot 2 times but then you will get the fastboot/repair mode image you can now lift your finger.
When you are in fastboot connected to your computer (the mediatek drivers will install wait for installation to complete).
Now return to the Adb GUI and press the execute command, (it will appear 3 lines starting with something saying error dont mind that it's normal) and wait a few seconds then your phone will restart it self and boot normally.
You're allmost there:
-When your phone boots, select the usb connection to usb mass storage device.
-copy the recovery.img provided to the root of your sdcard, safely unplug the phone from your pc.
-download and install the mobile mtk uncle tools app from the playstore.
-turn off wifi and mobile data, start the app and give it root permission.
-press the recovery update, select the chinese character file that you copied to your sd before and proceed, VERY IMPORTANT when it asks if you want to reboot into recovery select NO.
- get out off the app and restart your device normally, it's all done you have your phone back.
this is my first tutorial on xda, hope it is easy to follow and i'm thankfull for any suggestions to improve it.

Hi, I've followed the instructions you gave and now I'm stucked at the part which it wouldn't reboot by itself after i typed the "fastboot command".
1) Before I've had chance to charge my phone, it ran out of battery and fastboot mode does not charge the phone. I've also tried to flash the recovery image in fastboot mode, but i got Err:0x2017, what is this error about?
2) And the GUI should run in location bin files as my fastboot driver, not the 0KB fastboot in default location.
2) Do all these steps require unlocking bootloader? I don't think I've unlocked, all I did was just root the phone.

I have a rooted Huawei Ascend Mate but I installed the wrong TWRP recovery a few days ago. My phone keeps booting and I can't use my recovery, because it is a touch version but it doesn't respond to my touch. So, I don't know if I can flash my stock rom or another recovery...
Can I use this tutorial to fix my phone or can you please make one for the Huawei Ascend Mate?

Root Almost Any Device, Including Yours!

If you have PC follow these:
Try to download "kingo android" in your pc
Make sure you have the right drivers for your phone
then connect your device to pc via USB cable
open kingo android and start
If you dont have a pc and you have recovery mode in your device follow these:
search this: root (your device name) .zip file
and if you are successful put that zip file on root folder(the folder you see when you open your built-in file manager)
switch your phone to recovery mode
volume up, volume down, and menu button are the controls
navigate it to "apply update from sd card"
then choose your the zip file
If you dont have a pc and dont have a recovery mode follow these:
download "framaroot" "rootmaster" all apk

How to root Samsung Galaxy Duos S7262

I have been trying to root my Samsung phone by installing SuperUser ,methods i have tried .
1- Downloaded SU from play store
2-Install Busy Box
3-Flashed recovery.tar.md5 but can't boot into recovery mode ,key combination(Vol up+home+power) is not working.
4-Somehow i manged to boot into recovery mode by installling ADB drivers and typing command "adb reboot recovery".
5-Recovery option doesn't give option to install something from sd card card or phone ,it gives option to install with adb
6- I place Super user file to adb folder on my computer and then run the command "adb install superuser.apk" but it showed ,apk doesn't found.
Please help.

Thank you for your replies. I managed to root my device by installing a Lollipop Rom and its awesome.I serached around and fine that for some devices it will boot into recovery mode and present you the option like install update from SD card straight away but this was not the case with my device..First i was not able to update into recovery mode just by pressing the key combination.So i choose another method which was via Command line , i boot into recovery mode by installing adb drivers and then ran commands from my pc.
Second even in recovery mode , it only showed ,install update from adb sideload, which was not an option for me.So i applied a recovery .tar.md5 by going into download mode and that recovery file showed me the option "install update from sd card" And now my phone is looking Awesome .Lollipop is just Awesome .
What i did -
1- Downloaded Odin
2-Downloaded Lollipop version created by Russel
3-I had adb driver installed already.
4-Enter into Download mode - press volume down + home to enter into Download mode- it will ask you apply custom ROM .To proceed,press volume up button to proceed.
5 -Ran the Odin as Administrator ,it should show samsung phone as Added
6- Click PDA and select recovery.tar.md5 file
7- Click Start button in Odin,should see a pass message in green in the top
8 -Unplug the Phone and reboot, now it will ask you to apply update from sd card ,
9- Select the downloaded ROM ,and apply .
10 -You have Lollipop on your Phone.
