I just recently rooted my Galaxy S4 using Odin and then installed TWRP 2.6.0.0, I then tried to install this custom ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557353 which is a Android Lollipop 5.0 ROM, I wiped the device using TWRP, followed every step right but when I rebooted the phone it didnt work and now Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 appears when I turn it on only to disappear in a matter of seconds, I can get to download mode and after a couple of tries recovery mode too, my computer doesnt know the phone is there when I plug it in either.... what can I do?! Sorry if I'm not making much sense I'm not too good at things like this
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It sounds like you should flash the stock firmware in Odin and start the process all over. Please ask any questions in this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192886 where the experts on your device can help.

Hello, I'm a newbie on this android thing.
I tried to install CM 7.2 on my Galaxy Young but it turned out to be a very bad rom; Wi-Fi and camera didn't work. I finally found a good room, (or at least I think it's good) in this forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-y/development/rom-t2866838 but now my recovery won't work. It gets stucked and the phone restarts. I try to install a new recovery from ODIN, since the original recovery won't start and the process fails, I don't know if I'm downloading the wrong recovery or I just bricked the phone.
So, please, would you guys tell me if anything can be done? or how do I install a new recovery so I can get the rom working
Thanks in advance! Have a good night.

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 i9515 and I tried to flash a mod in CWM. The main problem is that all my apps stopped working and the screen is black. I tried rebooting in recovery mode but is restarting and refuse to open in Recovery Mode. The only thing I can access is the Download mode, which is working fine (I hope).I did a Nandroid backup before flashing but now I can't access that neither. Anyone has an idea what happened and how to solve this?

Hello,
I have managed to successfully root and install cyanogenmod 13 onto my Galaxy Note 3.
I have been trying to do the same on my partners Galaxy S5 SM-G901F - It currently has Lollipop on it.
I connect the S5 via Odin and download mode, Select TWRP, Apply it to the phone, Odin says its passed. The phone will reboot, then load back up to the normal lock screen as if nothing has happened. Turning the phone off then rebooting in recovery mode just gives the stock recovery.
I have read online that there is a line of code that runs on bootup on the phone that checks the recovery.img file and replaces it if it has been tinkered with. When I did my Note3 I found a script that somebody had made to stop a Note3 from doing this. I cannot find the equivilent though for the S5.
Could anyone please advise, provide a solution etc? A bit stumped now.
Many thanks
Neil

I tried to root my device and it went quite well. Then I tried to flash a custom rom (Darkwolf S7 edge port) on my phone but I ended up in a bootloop where it was stuck on the samsung logo for hours. I tried different stuff to get out of it but nothing worked so I decided to flash the stock rom onto my phone and at the odin status I get "FAIL". And on my device it shows "Volume Size is too big 4620289 < 4718599. And my phone is unusable. I need some help asap to fix it.
