So essentially, you want to duplicate the system function of HSL/HSV adjustment into the app. (I'm aware that most stock roms don't let you do this)

*UPDATE 9/25/14 (hey guys, almost a year later, i found the best setting possible by the help of everyone who found the calibrated settings using special equipment,, Nd guys tell me these settings arent good :] THE BEST. Id like to thank slimmer for the base and finder for proper settings using expensive equipment (sRGB FOUNDER), id also like to thank Clint DeBoer for finding D65 (6500k FOUNDER) color temps for vizio hdtv's using a colorimeter, and 2 more people Erica Griffin For sharing Super curio's color and gamma screenshots. Message me if you got any questions
*UPDATE 10/29/13 (minor improvements for srgb for lcd)
*UPDATE 10/24/13 (I originally posted this with movie screen mode from the note 2
FOr lcd but it wasn't calibrated with srgb so I updated it to this.)
(Movie screen mode for lcd is all of the bottom but color set it to 31 and your finished.)
I used a Vizio sv470m HDTV, calibration may very on other TV brands, but can still give it a try and report back with your results,
[9/25/14 UPDATE]
Backlight 50 ( optimal for DCR)
Brightness 50 ( Brightness already calibrated at default. )
Contrast 50 ( Contrast already calibrated at default. )
[9/25/14 UPDATE]
Color 43 ( SRGB ) NEW SETTINGS FOR sRGB
Tint/hue 0
[9/25/14 UPDATE]
Sharpness 0 (this the neutral setting, sharpness is also at your own preference. )
Noice reduction (off) ( preferable )
[9/25/14 UPDATE]
Color enhancement (Rich Colors] automatically calibrates hues/tints, plus Lines up sRGB diagram.
Adaptive luma off ( color accuracy in dark scenes are sacrificed for brighter darks and better dark scene accuracy, so scary dark movies will look Much more better, this also effects light scenes but its not to noticeable, i have this off for assurance that I have SRGB all the time. )
[9/25/14 UPDATE]
Backlight control DCR (ON) This does not do anything to your calibration settings, it only adjust backlight insenity from dark to bright scenes.
[9/25/14 UPDATE] THESE SETINGS ARE THE BEST COLOR TEMP SETTINGS YOU CAN POSSIBLY HAVE ON ALL VIZIO MODELS ADD THESE SETTINGS FOR
100% D65
Color temperature
Custom
Red 128 (default)
Green 128 (default)
Blue 86(adjusted)
6503k
Smooth motion effect (off) ( use at your own preference )
Real cinema smooth (off) ( use at your own preference )
Film mode (off) fixes lag for games but also remove smooth motion (9/25/14)
Mpeg nr off ( this makes aliased Images slightly smoother for users with sharpness up to 5 or 7.)
(AUDIO)
Balance 0 ( default )
Srs tshd on ( At your own preference. )
Srs truvolume on ( reduces sudden loud sounds, great for night time. )
Digital audio out PCM ( Dolby is for surround sound, I keep at pcm for raw audio. )
Appears that you're posting for the Galaxy S4. Unfortunately, this is not the S4, it's the S 4G.
You can find the right S4 using the following link.

Hello, I only just got the HTC ONE mini yesterday and just trying to get to grips with a couple of things, mainly the stills camera. I can see in the setting you can change the video resolution but I cannot for the life of me see where you can lower the resolution of the camera say if i want to shoot in 1024x768 or 640x480 - can anyone point me in the right direction please.
Also when I have taken the photo how can i go and adjust the brightness and colour and contrast and sharpness of the photo before sharing it using the inbuilt htc camer app rather than having to download snapseed or another post processing app? - I have tried 'edit' and then 'retouch' but rather than sliders for brightness contrast and saturation etc it just gives skin smooth face lighting face contour etc but no control of photo brightness or anything else - thanks for any help.
Greetings,
Will there ever be any software saturation, contrast, color adjustment support like those found on rehue colorblindness player? which is achieved through software codec filtering, not duplicating the system function of HSL/HSV adjustment into the app.
If the developer of rehue player has achieved to implement these 3 settings, how can it be impossible for mxplayer to support them?
These 3 settings can be found on all operating systems (windows. linux, ios/osx)...etc. except android operating system. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
I find that all video (and photo) are over-saturated. This is probably something many people prefer, however besides from me disliking the effect I'm also seeing loss of detail because some colors (mainly the primary RGB) are capped at the limit of the gamut. I have set my display to sRGB, so I'm sure this isn't just a matter of displaying the video incorrect.
I would like to adjust the saturation to more realistic levels, but I haven't found such a setting. Also, I have tried a few custom camera-apps, but these seem to use the exact same output from the camera?
i have the same issue.. videos are waaaay to oversaturated
I recently purchased an A-12 and want to take photos of the moon but they are very grainy, blurred.
Can anyone advise me me on the correct settings to use ?
Thanks in advance.......
So I watched a YT video on the subject, the guy said when you increase the ISO setting you should increase the shutter speed as well.
When I go into Pro mode I can only see 3 buttons - ISO, WB and another that has a slider from -2 ~ +2, I think it's something to do with brightness.
How do I adjust the shutter speed ?
Thanks in advance.....
In general, as long as you are able to set ISO you don't need to worry about shutter speed, it is adjusted automatically according to the scene brightness. Just set ISO to a smaller value and you'll have low noise and low shutter speeds, which, or course, cause the moving things to blur much more, so either a tripod or 4-axis optical stabilization is compulsory for sharp low-shutter-speed/long-exposure pictures. A12 does not have any optical stabilization at all, so you have to use a tripod. Also I recommend to set the exposure adjustment (it's the +/- slider) to a lower value to bring up details on the moon, otherwise it can look totally white.

Thanks very much uluruman, I will try that......
why you buy a lowcost device for that?
